  1. It’s not personal, it’s for the Panth. nevermind i know what i have to do
  2. Revenge or justice, can be collaborated into the same thing. There are alot of situations that people have been through which are say 10x worser then mines. But my fundamental error, which i can’t grasp is bani states “that you must let go of your emotions, no killing, no murdering....gods in everyone.... etc” this then objects to Justice or Revenge. (a wild exp. Was it right for indra gandhi to be shot dead) if so was then how can you justify bani? p.s. I personally agree it was correct she got shot dead. My mental torture drives my insane, and almost drives me to stab*n my head. My mind literally plays games with me, and redirects... im trying to walk the path of peace, but my minds making my walk the path of pieces. I want to forgive but it’s soo hard, specially when people that have ruined their whole life over someone who is soo pure evill and unrighteous! ( i guess im no one to judge) It’s soo bloo*dy anoying me rambling on about, which the sangat has no clue about. But what can i do, cant give too much details as it involves other people. I am sorry i cant give my age and stuff like wht i doo, some people which i dont want to mention are ridiculously clever and will click on, which brings the question why do you need to hide? well we all know tht? However i will try what people have told me to do, hopefully i will have a clarity about the truth! and the fact that it’ll settle in my mind. i do have belief in god, but i cant make out whether he wants me to commit such act, which is why my nightmare’s and still in process. Thanks for the posts and the advise given, i’ve never tried any of the above so im sure it’ll work hopefully!
  3. <H1 style="MARGIN: auto 0cm">Sleep deprivation, insanity, furious thoughts. How do you stop this? how do you attain peace? 4. Truly shameful!! But just don’t understand why was it recorded, I mean it’s definitely real but just can’t work around why would anybody take a video?
  5. Sighs ... Please tell me where anyone anywhere has ever stated that by doing these paaths will get you mukhi? Please show me anywhere on the website or anywhere else, where anyone has said that anything is PROMISED after these paaths. You will find that nothing is promised and nothing is guaranteed. Reason being, we are BEGGING at Guru Jis feet. We are doing ardas after ardas after ardas. It is up to him how and when he decided to do kirpa. As his children all we can do is beg. If people are reading gurbani and doing ardas for justice, and chardikala, how is that not reading gurbani with truth in their hearts? How is that any less important then anything else? You keep talking about numbers but you havent grasped the concept. Let me break this down for you. When a person starts reading gurbani or doing simran, he may first try and do 5 mins of simran. Then after a while he increases to 10 mins, then to 20 etc. When a person starts doing nitnem, he may start with japji sahib only, then might do rehras sahib as well.. slowly building upto 7 bania. Then he starts reading more, adding more simran, more mool mantar, starts doing sehaj paath etc. Slowly but surely the person increases the AMOUNT of nitnem/simran they do. This is how most sikhs imcrease their nitnem and jeevan. They set themselves targets, i will complete 25 angs of sehaj path today. I will do an extra 10 japji sahibs today. How is this any different from us saying, ok lets all collectively read more chaupai sahibs? If sangat from across the world is reading more gurbani how does that hurt you? Be it through any excuse, the fact is more gurbani is being read. The fact is that people who previoulsy never did any nitnem have started doing it now as a result of guru sahibs kirpa. Sangat have been spending an extra 15 mins, and hour, 2 hours if not more a day sitting down and focusing their minds on vaheguru and reading gurbani. Most human beings need some sort of motivation to get them going. We need this in almost every aspect of our lives. Nitnem and jeevan included. In this thread people have already posted examples of gurmukhs doing many many paath every day. The target was increased as i prev said on the request of the sangat. The singhs received emails saying that the sangat involved loved the fact that they would regulalrly sit together and do this paath. They said without some sort of target they felt they would get lazy again and needed this to keep them motivated to keep on doing this additional paath. Again what is wrong with increasing the bani we read? If i cannot read your mind (and i dont believe i have tried!) what makes you think you can read mine/peoples like me! If sangat thought they were people with special powers, why would they be doing bentia to guru sahibs charan? Why not use their 'powers' directly? Bhai sahib a dose of nimrata goes a long way as does having faith and parosa in guru sahib. Nobody has talked about magic etc, only yourself. Heres another benefit of sangat reading more gurbani for the panth (all of which has been mentioned on the site and other threads). If today we spend just 5 mins out of love for the guru and the panth reading gurabni, then tomorrow out of the same love for the guru and the panth we will spend 10 mins doing seva, slowly with kirpa this pyar increases and we become activitis for the panth. Bottom line is if we cared for the panth, we would do something for it everyday (as we do when we care for our families, children etc). The one thing we can all do, regardless of where we live, of what our financial position is, what our spiritual position is .. is to do ardas and read gurbani. By spending time thinking about the panth today we may do some more types of seva tomorrow. The strength for that seva will also come from gurbani. So it works from all angles. If you dont think the power of gurbani and ardas can change a persons karam, then thats a different topic and i think its been disucussed before on the forum somewhere. However, I am aware that even Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji would specifically do an additioanl chaupai sahib for the chardikala of the panth everyday. And bhai sahib, we are praying that maharajh do kirpa on others, that he give us justice and that he give the panth chardikala. If you dont think you yourself fit into either of those, then again thats your issue. And no once again nobody has said that. As explained above, the number thing is just a tool to read more gurbani. It seems you cannot look beyond this most minor of things. To be honest the only reason the additonal number was there was result of sangats requests, they said they wanted this so they could pukkah the additional nitnem they were doing. Once again please read the above. Your the only one again mentioning magic etc. The sangat believe in doing ardas and having sharda in maharajh. The singhs actually wanted to start other seva, but the sangat requested more. With Vaheguru ji's beant beant kirpa, in the UK at least 10-15 programmes were done since january to june. Hundreds of people were given seva of reading gurbani, thousands learnt about 1984 and our history, many youngsters learnt the bani so that they could take part etc. All down to vaheguru's kirpa. Some people cant handle anything thats outside their own understanding, and thats fine. The singhs have been sworn at, called bharamins, pakahandis, told that they will be going to hell etc its all good! All i know is that guru ji wants to us to live according to his orders, ie read gurbani, follow maryada, do seva etc etc. If that causes you to laugh at us then once again its fine. Singh above has said that maharajh himself did so many chaupai sahibs after finishing writing the bani. Sant jarnail singh ji had many many singhs do 125,000 paaths of japji sahib and of other paaths as well before the 1984 attack. I wont say that your saying this was black magic as well since these were also counted. But thats for yourself to decide. Anyway i apologise if you wish to drag this out further, these points have all been raised in prev threads so please read them if you wish. If you dont want to take part then its fine, dont. To rest of sangat, please come forward with ideas for more seva, singhs have one or 2 things they should be rolling out soon, but need your new ideas on how we can collectively do something. Remember we need ideas that sikhs from around the world can do, maybe some sort of organised collective seva. Please share ideas. Many thanks, and apologies for any mistakes. Sangat (not harry potter) holds the power (not black magic) to forgive, so please do forgive us. oh and sorry forgot to add, if you check the website audio, you will see different kathas on chaupai sahib. Also at many prog's the katha of the bani was done in both english and in punjabi. So hanji people are learning what the bani says as well as reading it. Maharajh does so much kirpa! :D lollllllllllllllllllll..... you winn................thanks for the explination, well let’s just say i won’t be arrogant because you have put me in my place! Sorry for the debate, i truly just needed an explanation. Also for this i will probably go to hell, trying to question it and so on. I sincerely apologize, and ill contribute what i can! I guess i have to watch out for you, before i post in any other topics again....lollll
  6. With Guru ji's kirpa, the sangat will keep reading Chaupai Sahib's for the panths chardikala, and yeh whats wrong with 5 million, 10 million etc, its just targets to motivate people to read mroe gurbani. Theres nothing wrong in that at all. You say people think its silly ... silly to do what exactly? Read gurbani and doing ardas is silly? And what do you mean 'no matter how much path you do, everybody has their own account towards Waheguru'? Didint understand at all what your getting at there! Of course reading more gurbani matters! lol how do you do 1 million chaupai sahibs incorrectly? I think your one of these people that imagines Vaheguru to things with bolts of lightening and crack the earth open and swallow people! Sikhs reading more gurbani and dedicating time daily for the betterment of the panth is kirpa in itself. The additional paath target came from sangat requesting that they wanted a further target as it helped them read more and more gurbani and they enjoyed the comradeship it created amongst the sangat all working for the same cause - ie the panth. In your second post it seems you have realised that gurbani will help the post, but now your talking about 'making' amrithdharis'. Well good luck, as basic beggars at the door of guru ji, all we can do is do benti's and ardas and do whatever parchar we can to awaken the love for the panth. If your on a level where you can 'make' millions on amritdharis then please go ahead. Please do your part for the panth ... rather then just talk for the panth Sevadars have apologised for the massive delay in updating and informing the sangat, they got sidetracked in other projects, so please accept their apologies and please carry on praying and building love for the panth. At the same time they are asking that people volunteer new ideas (realistic ones i.e. not making 2.5 million amrithdharis) that we as a panth can work towards. We have sangat from 35 countries taking part. What can we collectively do to make a difference. Please share your ideas! Think about what you’re saying, and repeat it to yourself! “knowledge only grows in the seeker not the person that argues” if you wouldn’t even be the slightest liberal about the topic, then really it’s worthless replying. Drifting the whole topic to something we can’t apprehend. I never said reading path is bad, but the question is what are you expecting after you 2.5 million path? Does this get you mukti? The truth is reading bani with the truth in our hearts is more important? The fact that this is a numbers game or not is truly ridiculous, i mean OFCOURSE it’s a numbers game! If it wasn’t why would you keep increasing the target? “do your part and whateva you been saying”! what people like you are doing is acting like your some sort of special power because you’ve contributed to the 2.5 million? Loll i mean can you read my mind?...lollll look Sikhism was more about a simple way of life, you are not suppose to believe magicall powers and harry potter wizardry..loll What i meant by everybody has their own account towards waheguroo is that no matter how much path you do, you dont change the bagti of any other individual? It’s like what good is praying for someone, it doesn’t work like that everybody has their own account! They themselves have to pray What your effectively saying is when we reach 2.5 million path, we will satisfy guru ji for the whole panth?? the reason why i had mentioned that “ you did 1 million path incorrectly” is because you reached your target and it seems that your didn’t get whatever miracle( black magic) you wanted, so you decided to increase the target because obviously you think god wants numbers? You act like your some super powered source, i think what you really should do is ask what does guru ji actually wants? Btw this is a question not of this specific debate, how do you know that Sikhs actually get a million paths done? I mean sry i unware of the system.
  7. Don't you just love it when the Indian media refers to our respected institutions as 'radical'. Exactly...loll
  8. How about having a target of 2.5 million Amritdhari’s by Nov 2009, maybe increasing the panth would be very beneficial. Not saying path wouldn’t, but with that it’s more about quality not quantity! play YOUR part and make atleast 5 people amritdhari for OUR panth! J
  9. Lollllllll... Whats going to be next 5.5 million? or maybe after that you can go to 10 million? Nobody has posted anything because it’s silly, no matter how much path you do, everybody has their own account towards Waheguru. What this really means is, you haven’t done the first 1 million correct and now your increasing the number because u believe it would make some what difference?
  10. Akal Takht head priest Giani Gurbachan Singh, after a meeting of the five head priests, ordained on Wednesday that no Sikh should enter into a gay relationship as it was against the basic tenets of Sikhism. He said the Sikh community would not tolerate gay marriages in Sikh families. The head priest also directed the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee to study all aspects in this regard with the help of legal luminaries. The Sikh clergy issued directions to all gurdwaras not to allow gay weddings. "Gay marriages are not acceptable in Sikhism and have no place in Gurmat," the head priest said. Harnam Singh Khalsa, head of the radical Sikh organisation Damdami Taksal, echoed his feelings. "Gay marriages," he said, "are not acceptable and we strongly oppose it. We may even begin an agitation against such relations." Meanwhile, the matter rocked the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Thursday after MLA Charanjit Singh Channi expressed serious concern at gay marriages and demanded that the state take preventive measures. While speaker NS Kahlon suggested that the MLA introduce a resolution to the effect in the House, Channi said society was facing a big challenge that threatened to tear apart its fabric. He said at least six gay couples had "exploited the social system to their benefit" after the Delhi high court verdict allowing consensual gay sex. http://news.indiainfo.com/article/09071009...html?FORM=ZZNR9
  11. Express News Service Tags : delhi, Jagmohan Singh murder case Posted: Saturday , Jul 11, 2009 at 0051 hrs New Delhi: A day after a West Delhi businessman was found stabbed, his wife and her close friend were arrested on Friday for the murder. The suspects are victim Jagmohan Singh’s wife Sumit Kaur, 28, and one Puneet, 31, her friend who killed Singh on Kaur’s directions, the police today said. Singh, 32, was found dead late Wednesday night at his Rajouri garden house. Today, after arresting Puneet, the police claimed that he had confessed to having committed the murder — Kaur had allegedly promised to pay him for it. The police said Kaur had initially claimed that four assailants broke into the house around midnight and demanded Rs 4 lakh that they had reportedly loaned him. She claimed the assailants killed Singh after he refused to pay — they had gagged and tied her with ropes, Kaur said. The police, though, found contradictions in her statement — they also found it improbable that the assailants unlocked five doors to reach Singh’s bedroom without inside help. http://www.indianexpress.com/news/wife-fri...870/?FORM=ZZNR6

  16. WJKF I think what we really need to do, is challenge our own people. I totally agree with some of the statements above, special the one that “most of our people are very cowardly”. The fact of the matter is, Sikhs these days don’t actually believe in equality, justice and fighting evil. Also the other fact is, if you speak to any senior experienced martial artist, they will explain it’s to do with mind and body as one, which frankly we don’t have in Sikhi these days. I would also like to bring another problematic situation we have within our community, when people say we should learn Sikh martial arts they are limiting themselves to a extent where they cannot adapt. Diversification is the key to an invincible warrior. I am a amritdhari and I love my guru even after the last breath in my body, but I don’t like Sikh martial arts, in fact I hate it simply because it’s funny!! and impractical. And anybody that says well why don’t you come and we will show you about Sikh martial arts..lol well i’ve herd that statement from so many people it’s become a joke! I know a question might arise by saying; so you think our guru’s just used these martial arts for the sake of it? Well the answer is no, our guru’s used it because it was the best war field strategic way of immobilizing a force of more than thousands!!! THOUSANDSS!!!!!!! and i have never heard of a initiation of more than on a average 35 on 1 guy, or in a gang basis about 150 to a group of say 50 Sikhs in today’s modern day and age I think western martial arts, and other martial arts will teach you more about the art in force which you crack a forehead open with a punch. If i could give any advice to a modern day Sikh it would be - Don’t be dependable, you don’t need to rely on anybody else for help, just do it yourself and quietly come back and don’t talk about it. - Weapon, a Sikh brother can let you down or even a friend, but your shastar will never fail you, your guru gave it to you, and that your best friend! - When you do have a group of people, who really are true warriors, make sure you don’t exclude them because they are not Sikh. Our Mahraja Ranjit Singh had not only Sikhs in his army, but muslims aswell, and im sure there were others like Persians etc... I know some of the statements, above might not be agreed with principally, but anyways bull chukka maf karni! WJKK
  17. When i said i totally agree that Sikh channel should take responsibility, i meant that they are challenging Guru Nanak. Guru Nanak’s principally said everybody is equal! It doesn’t matter who or what he/she is! I’m not a namdhari, but i dont have anything against them. Sorry Singh you grabbed the wrong end of the stick
  18. Totally agree.... Sikh Channel must responsibility. This is a physical challenge to Guru Nanak!
  19. Hi there, It’s nice to hear that you take pride in your personal appearance; it’s every Sikhs to look presentable to the society. There is no crime or a indirect paap, if a member of the Sangat give you looks, it simply means they find you attractive However i can understand the problem that you are facing with your chachi, So my sikh brother if you’d rather be ugly, then i’d suggest you dip your face in toxic acid (i wouldn’t recommend it), but it will definitely make you ugly . :D The choice is yourz being Smart or Ugly I know which 1 i would go for
  20. If you really want to get over her read this! I know you feel down, and feel feeble of emotional thoughts. Singh to be dead on honest, everything you’ve written, your whole story exact to exact is what I been through. Please don’t harm yourself, and don’t go to no counselling, they’re suicidal! The answer to how you can achieve the “Free State of emotional disorder”; Well there’s many ways and I’ll only tell you what worked for me! The method involves emotion releasing session, the energy’s are channelled and the flow is balance naturally. Your current status involves imbalances in your energy’s, which lead to emotional disorder. Initially the genesis of this method came from the Chinese. More information will be available to you if you’re interested. I can also provide you with substantial evidence if you’re interested. This session if from another member of the Sikh community, you I can say more knows about life and death then most of us. I’m sure god will direct you, correctly! If you need help send me a message,
  21. Fateh Ji I said that it was a possibility, at no point didnt i say "this is my conclusion". If all aspects are not considered how can we be sure? And with regards to the quote about LFC, from what ive been told and read, the flats surrounding the Gurdwara are occupied by Bengalis, and it is with THEM, LFC have issues with. Once again im not saying its them... and im NOT saying its not them. It mite have been them, but no-one is CERTAIN yet. Anybody could have written that on the shutters to put the focus on them, it could have been anyone (if anyone) who walked in and set Maharaj alight. And Also, you cant say that a heater which has caught fire due to an electrical failure would burn slowly... Once again: Bhul Chuk Maaf My post was not intended to cause any arguments or friction which it obviously has, i am sorry but if we havent discussed this issue then is it wrong for someone to bring it up? If so... then once again im sorry. Forgive me for offering a possible cause. WJKK WJKF The tag says pretty clear something like ' We burnt your books, LFC'. You can't be more direct than that. Yeah, it is possible that someone else did it and is putting the blame on them but why would they do that. If there was a group of muslims (i say muslim because of the muslim grafitti on the gurdwara) who did it they'd be pretty messed up in the head to do something like that and i'd think they'd be the type to either say it was them or not say nothing at all. From the evidence put forward i.e. a black mixed race person running out and the LFC tag directly stating it was them, this is the line of inquiry we should be dealing with first through the police. I'm still waiting for the police mans telephone number from anyone who knows so i can call and ask are they following up this evidence. Does anyone know if they have pursued this particular line of investigation? WJKK WJKF The issue you raised with sangat did not raise conflicts or friction; i take this a professional debate and so should you. I by seeing all evidence can certainly say it was arson. The reason to why i have concerns of your argument is because the sangat is left at a paradoxical state. The truth is really in front of us, and we should pursue with it. Do you know that this situation will die out within a few months! That’s a promise because frankly speaking, i don’t think we have shown this adequately enough to the public or police, and needless to say our direction. The other way I would approach this is, would you be that deeply concerned if a Church had got burnt down? And Look it this from a average British person view, and tell me what you see? It is very easy to escape with this sort of crime, and I with agony can say that the culprits who burned my Guru are getting away, or have gotten away. Anybody with a right state of mind known’s this! I am sorry if you think i have indulged into the debate, or if you think basis of my argument are not adequate enough. If this issue is settled in your hearts, that with a basic application of fan, heat or etcc, caused our gurdwara to burn down and our Guru, then i would end this thread! WJKK WJKF
