1. So babbar kahlsa is a terrorist group? or just militant seperatists? There's a very fine line between the two. I hope the youth of tommorrow will be able to fiqure who is who. Does any one know if there is a website for this group?
2. my ipm address got banned, i was jsut singing up when it happened, weird...
3. what a shame, another sikh swept up in the inpractical fight for khalistan. And khalistan is a 20th century idea, and you can be still a sikh and not believe in khalistan, like me. Your idea for punjab to khalistan is a good idea. The old days are over, and we need to except that we can't control the area we once had, no o0ne would allow it anyways!
4. i don't agree with such a item being bidded on ebay, however, you don't come upon a such a find easily. Not very many places to find engish guru granth sahib. I'll take care of it for sure.
5. then could you please send me a "less" expensive ENGLISH version of the guru granth sahib? I'm sure you already have many copies of it already.
6. And some ppl wonder why a few of our young and old sikhs are confused. We have some gurdwara's run by militant sikhs, some by "soft" sikhs and hard liners, then there are those who are just there for political gains and to make a name for themselves. Isn't it about time gurdwara's and their leaders were streamlined? Gives me a few ideas, i think i will work on this in the years to come.
7. i'm here, see that the bidding went a little crazy!, item is "hot"
8. who's bididng so much? can't even bid beofr ei'm already outbid? I need this copy, who's else is bidding???
9. Here's a plan: spam the msn group to death! If you get banned, just start another user. Other than that, no plan
10. What's the problem? I don't see it, perhaps selling it wasn't such a good idea, free to ppl who are curious is the best. Anyways, some ppl like me who don't understand punjabi yet need stuff like this. As for kirpan being sold, if i knew about this earlier, i would be fowlowing the sikh code of conduct sooner! Cause it's hard to get stuff like that around here. I think i'll place a bid! Thanks.
11. Yes, only use force when ALL WAYS OF REASONING HAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED. trying using the ideas like what i suggested and other as well. After, then other ways can eb used. Just remeber - these fellow sikhs have lives, goals and families, give thier death or lesson with respect and their families compensation and a ligit reason. This will lessen the possiblity of revenge attacks - something that makes things even worse.
12. i'm not the one blowing up in agument, i just said my opinion based on other such experiences in the world. The love? an interesting use of words. as for the map, Go figure - the "liberators" will have to convine the hundreds of millions of people who live in the selicted region that khalistn will benifet them in the long run. there are muslim seperatists groups that want "moghulstan" in that region as well. This should be very interesting.
13. Yes i already know that, i'm proud of that, but there's a difference between defending other people and countries starting a possible war. You think Khalistan will be made easily? without a drop of blood? Especailly, when ppl don't seem to be open to suggestion on other possible ideas. Funny how you don't suggest another possible idea to create khalistan. Since you want to see it so much, i suggest you "critacally-think" about this new country for sikh AND hindu's and muslims. Don't forget all the other "little" details. a select few sikhs who forcefully try to put khalistan into being will have to run around in circles for a few years before realizing that there are other more important issues that must be worked on. As for unity - one reason for not being a strong unity is because the average person on the street (in punjab) doesnt feel that they will get anything out of it. They need something that will convince them that they should risk their lives/family/business to support such a cause, and in the end, there will be a positive result. That is something no seperatist group in the world has ever suceeded in doing. Why? Power is a bad deal. Sikhism and it's seperatists groups (not all afiliated with sikhi) have an advantage though, in that the basic principles and teaching of sikhism, we have many good instructions and morals that they can follow. Out of these principles, there should be ways that khalistan can be created without massive losses in human lives and economic stability. Whether these groups follow these morals or pick and choose their principles is up to them. That is something that few regular ppl have control over - another reason for ppl to be cautious. I urge for people to ask questions to these groups, like "how ill i be effected?" "will my business/family be ruined?", what if questions are also good. If no one answer, then there is already a problem. That's that. i'm try to get ppl to think about this so-called "important" issue, not to always go down the hard way.
14. cooo down there buddy, don't get to hot about this. This is how wars get started. Think out side the box and do something creative and different other than using the age old solution of using "force" cause in human nature, there bound to be some revenge. I suggest sending letters to these places like crzy and tie up their fax and phone lines and emails with our voice. Then after they cut it all off, they will have to listen, and remember you can always hit them were it hurts - the wallet. useing force is not the solution, please find me a example were armed fighting had any positive effects on people and had lasting results that didn't backfire or suffer anyone. Please, Gupt daasan, we as sikhs are not supposed to fighting each other, even if we don't agree on how things should be done. If you can't do that at least, then perhaps you should look into the values and principles of sikhi again. -Khalsa Starr
15. Personaly, i don't want or believe in khalistan. If it gets created, good for them, i'll reserve my khalistan praises when i see some true efforts made to decrease poverty and social problms that lurk beneath the surface of the punjab community (sikh, hindu, muslim, etc). Also, i will get only invloved if khalistan is created by other means other than the traditional "gun-and-take-over" way that a few other countries are trying to do to get independence. That however, seems most unlikely since a few loud mouth groups are overshadowing the rest of everyday sikhs. The averge sikh/hindu/muslim doesnt want to upset their lives, businesses, lifestyles and family for something so unpredictable as khalistan. I sympathise with those that want it, but for once in human history, can we think of other ppl's needs and lives than trying to get our own way all the time? People have lives too, it's time to think more practical and work with others. -khalsa Starr
16. OMG    <admin-profanity filter activated>??? Is this even true? This is a disgrace to sikhi, honestly, this must be lowest any comitee can go. How do we phone from canada? I think it's good that we get invlolved with other cultures (i myeslf am from another culture), but not on such a sacred day, especially in the name of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s Shaheedi. Another thing, this stuff shoulnt have been on the same day, or near gurdwara! I hope none of our sisters or brothers were getting invlolved in belly dancing or bhangra, oh wait, they already did! What a mind***k...
17. I'll reserve my praise and "khalistan zindabad" shouting untill i see some serious results when our homeland is made.
18. Really? i guess you havn't been long enough at the forums to know that saying these opinions will be met wiht harsh critasism. I suggest you step back for a moment and think before you post. If your still ythinking this s***, there will be higher forces that will step in. 97025 umm okay there buddy! I am sorry that I disrespected your homeland (Hindustan/India). HAHAHAHA! 97071 i live in Canada you <banned word filter activated>, born and raised here. However, you might as well have said death to hindu's and muslims, and as we all know, sikhs are not like that.
19. Why do you think non-Sikhs won't get equal rights? Are Sikhs knows as oppressors and for practicing inequality? Kingdoms of Baba Banda Singh and Ranjeet Singh are perfect example to look at. Even if only Sikhs live in Khalistan the country will still survive. Look at every muslim country and see if other religions can flourish and if non-muslims have equal rights. Most of the countries Muslims took over became third world in no time but still surviving. Sikhs can do lot better. Heck, even in USA many communities don't have equal rights and religion plays a significant role in politics. Answers are out there just try to find 'em. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh 96724 Good point Bijla, you kniow, i don't know why alot of ppl make u slook like something we are not. Makes me wonder why ppl would even think of such things...

22. i worry about our next generation of youth, there not even in there adult years and already they feel these kind of feelings. O hope kumi you don't act on these thoughts...
23. perhaps what the poster should have done is said terrorist, instead of hindu terrorist.
24. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Something we both agree on again. Sorry, no way of getting there , but i will see if i can google it. As for the list, i don't think anyone would let that get in their way. I agree on this again. It's a shame that you and i couldn't get together and come up with possible ideas for future projects. I will be setting up a group in the near future that will try and at least start to tackle some of these issues. Again, too bad you couln't join me. But you probably have bigger more personal goals in mind, no prob :TH: You and me are almost alike, except you know more about sikhi then i do. I hope that you will be a good teacher or leader one of these days. -Khalsa Starr
