This is the fast to be observed by Sikh ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹੀ ੧੦ ॥ रामकली पातिशाही १० ॥ RAMKALI OF THE TENTH KING ਰੇ ਮਨ ਐਸੋ ਕਰਿ ਸੰਨਿਆਸਾ ॥ रे मन ऐसो करि संनिआसा ॥ O mind ! the asceticism be practised in this way : ਬਨ ਸੇ ਸਦਨ ਸਭੈ ਕਰਿ ਸਮਝਹੁ ਮਨ ਹੀ ਮਾਹਿ ਉਦਾਸਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ बन से सदन सभै करि समझहु मन ही माहि उदासा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Consider your house as the forest and remain unattached within yourself…..Pause. ਜਤ ਕੀ ਜਟਾ ਜੋਗ ਕੋ ਮੱਜਨੁ ਨੇਮ ਕੇ ਨਖਨ ਬਢਾਓ ॥ जत की जटा जोग को म्जनु नेम के नखन बढाओ ॥ Consider continence as the matted hair, Yoga as the ablution and daily observances as your nails, ਗਯਾਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਆਤਮ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਹੁ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਭੂਤ ਲਗਾਓ ॥੧॥ गयान गुरू आतम उपदेशहु नाम बिभूत लगाओ ॥१॥ Consider the knowledge as the preceptor giving lessons to you and apply the Name of the Lord as ashes.1. ਅਲਪ ਅਹਾਰ ਸੁਲਾਪ ਸੀ ਨਿੰਦ੍ਰਾ ਦਯਾ ਛਿਮਾ ਤਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ॥ अलप अहार सुलाप सी निंद्रा दया छिमा तन प्रीति ॥ Eat less and sleep less, cherish mercy and forgiveness; ਸੀਲ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਬਾਹਿਬੋ ਹ੍ਵੈਬੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਗੁਣ ਅਤੀਤਿ ॥੨॥ सील संतोख सदा निरबाहिबो ह्वैबो त्रिगुण अतीति ॥२॥ Practise gentleness and contentment and remain free from three modes.2. ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਲੋਭ ਹਠ ਮੋਹ ਨ ਮਨ ਸੋ ਲਯਾਵੈ ॥ काम क्रोध हंकार लोभ हठ मोह न मन सो लयावै ॥ Keep your mind unattached from lust, anger, greed, insistence and infatuation, ਤਬ ਹੀ ਆਤਮ ਤਤ ਕੋ ਦਰਸੇ ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਹ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੩॥੧॥ तब ही आतम तत को दरसे परम पुरख कह पावै ॥३॥१॥ Then you will visualize the supreme essence and realise the supreme Purusha.3.1.

Guru Gobind singh ji says Anyone who is eating less, Sleeping less, Talking Less(unworthy Talk) is already doing the fast, what other fast do we want to observe? BUT MAIN QUESTION IS ARE WE OBSERVING THOSE ABOVE POINTS TOLD BY OUR SATGURU?????

1. Naam Simran(Given by our Satgurus) is the shortest and quick method to liberate one self from Maya and Merge with Akal in Kalyug(where Human age is shortest). 2. Other Methods(Yoga, Paryaam...whatever) is longest and slow menthod to attain liberation and were used only in Satyug/Treta and Dwapur where age of Human was long. Naam simran is also not restricted just to Sikh dharam, It is also followed in Islam, Sufi mat, Hindu mat and other religion. But people like Raamdev and yogis think Yoga and Prayaam you can attain god in Kalyug. YOU can...no doubt...but it will take hell lot of time of yours. Your eyes are so beautiful, and Your teeth are delightful. ਸੋਹਣੇ ਨਕ ਜਿਨ ਲੰਮੜੇ ਵਾਲਾ ॥ सोहणे नक जिन लमड़े वाला ॥ Sohṇe nak jin lammṛe vālā. Your nose is so graceful, and Your hair is so long. ਕੰਚਨ ਕਾਇਆ ਸੁਇਨੇ ਕੀ ਢਾਲਾ ॥ कंचन काइआ सुइने की ढाला ॥ Kancẖan kā▫i▫ā su▫ine kī dẖālā. Your body is so precious, cast in gold. ਸੋਵੰਨ ਢਾਲਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਮਾਲਾ ਜਪਹੁ ਤੁਸੀ ਸਹੇਲੀਹੋ ॥ सोवंन ढाला क्रिसन माला जपहु तुसी सहेलीहो ॥ Sovann dẖālā krisan mālā japahu ṯusī sahelīho. His body is cast in gold, and He wears Krishna's mala; meditate on Him, O sisters. ਜਮ ਦੁਆਰਿ ਨ ਹੋਹੁ ਖੜੀਆ ਸਿਖ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਮਹੇਲੀਹੋ ॥ जम दुआरि न होहु खड़ीआ सिख सुणहु महेलीहो ॥ Jam ḏu▫ār na hohu kẖaṛī▫ā sikẖ suṇhu mahelīho. You shall not have to stand at Death's door, O sisters, if you listen to these teachings. ਹੰਸ ਹੰਸਾ ਬਗ ਬਗਾ ਲਹੈ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਜਾਲਾ ॥ हंस हंसा बग बगा लहै मन की जाला ॥ Hans hansā bag bagā lahai man kī jālā. From a crane, you shall be transformed into a swan, and the filth of your mind shall be removed. ਬੰਕੇ ਲੋਇਣ ਦੰਤ ਰੀਸਾਲਾ ॥੭॥ बंके लोइण दंत रीसाला ॥७॥ Banke lo▫iṇ ḏanṯ rīsālā. ||7|| Your eyes are so beautiful, and Your teeth are delightful. ||7|| ਤੇਰੀ ਚਾਲ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਮਧੁਰਾੜੀ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ तेरी चाल सुहावी मधुराड़ी बाणी ॥ Ŧerī cẖāl suhāvī maḏẖurāṛī baṇī. Your walk is so graceful, and Your speech is so sweet. ਕੁਹਕਨਿ ਕੋਕਿਲਾ ਤਰਲ ਜੁਆਣੀ ॥ कुहकनि कोकिला तरल जुआणी ॥ Kuhkan kokilā ṯaral ju▫āṇī. You coo like a songbird, and your youthful beauty is alluring. ਤਰਲਾ ਜੁਆਣੀ ਆਪਿ ਭਾਣੀ ਇਛ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਪੂਰੀਏ ॥ तरला जुआणी आपि भाणी इछ मन की पूरीए ॥ Ŧarlā ju▫āṇī āp bẖāṇī icẖẖ man kī pūrī▫e. Your youthful beauty is so alluring; it pleases You, and it fulfills the heart's desires. ਸਾਰੰਗ ਜਿਉ ਪਗੁ ਧਰੈ ਠਿਮਿ ਠਿਮਿ ਆਪਿ ਆਪੁ ਸੰਧੂਰਏ ॥ सारंग जिउ पगु धरै ठिमि ठिमि आपि आपु संधूरए ॥ Sārang ji▫o pag ḏẖarai ṯẖim ṯẖim āp āp sanḏẖūra▫e. Like an elephant, You step with Your Feet so carefully; You are satisfied with Yourself. ਸ੍ਰੀਰੰਗ ਰਾਤੀ ਫਿਰੈ ਮਾਤੀ ਉਦਕੁ ਗੰਗਾ ਵਾਣੀ ॥ स्रीरंग राती फिरै माती उदकु गंगा वाणी ॥ Sarīrang rāṯī firai māṯī uḏak gangā vāṇī. She who is imbued with the Love of such a Great Lord, flows intoxicated, like the waters of the Ganges. ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦਾਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਚਾਲ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਮਧੁਰਾੜੀ ਬਾਣੀ ॥੮॥੨॥ बिनवंति नानकु दासु हरि का तेरी चाल सुहावी मधुराड़ी बाणी ॥८॥२॥ Binvanṯ Nānak ḏās har kā ṯerī cẖāl suhāvī maḏẖurāṛī baṇī. ||8||2|| Prays Nanak, I am Your slave, O Lord; Your walk is so graceful, and Your speech is so sweet. ||8||2||

When we Say Sangat, Then Gurbani says True sangat where we can get actual benefit of Naam Simran. and True sangat cannot be without Satguru or Puran Sant Mahapursh.

I remember one amritdhari sikh from Sri Ganganagar who was wearing rings in all his finfer and gold Karas and Chains,bracelet and beautiful dastar. He was traveling to foreign country from Shri Guru Ramdas Airport in Amritsar. The passport control officer at the airport(also a Amritdhari Sikh) told him,"As per Rehitnama, you are not suppose to wear all this; Donot you know this is prohibted". This sikh replied saying,"Listen my brother, My father is very rich(pointing to Guru Gobind singh ji 's Potrait), I want to show to the world his sons are also very rich. When guru gobind singh ji used to ride on Neela with beautiful attire and shashters same time we would tell his Gursikhs to wear the same beautiful attire and go for fight or shikar.Have you seen anywhere where Satguru is very good clothes and telling his sikhs not to do the same; BUT IMPORTANT POINT IS IS THE SIKH SHOWING OFF HIS EGO BY WEARING EXPENSIVE CLOTHES OR sIKH IS WEARING BEAUTIFUL ATTIRE AND REMAIN NIMANA FROM HIS HEART AT THE CHARAN OF SATGURU. MAIN THING IS HOYE NIMANA JAG RAHO,NANAK NADRI PAAR.

If You people think FIRE belongs to Hindu Religion, Then we shoudl not use it in making Food becuase it will make us HINDUS too. ))

Havan is not some cult thing or Hindu thing. It was there in Sikh tradition long back. Even guru gobind singh ji did havan when Shakti was worshipped for Khalsa. Havan is nothing but reciting of Gurbani like CHANDI DI VAAR,SUKHMANI SAHIB,URGARDANTI,CHANDI CHARITAR,ASA DI VAAR, JAPJI sAHIB,Complete ANAND SAHIB in Amritwela(before sunrise) by few Gursikhs infront of SGGSJI or lighting Jot. But We sikhs donot say."We are doing Havan" but "we are doing Nitnem" Becuase emphasis is on GURBANI recitation and Darshan of SGGSJI nothing else.

No Doubt Mugahls got So Much Jelaous

It doesnot Matter what color did Maharaji wore, It was a RAJYOG pehra. and in this yog, Maharaji wore expensive clothes and rich colorful attire and also made his Sikhs wear the same. That is why Mughals and Pahari Raje were envied and jealous of Why Guru Gobind singh ji is wearing expensive clothing,Keeping Prasadi Haathi , keeping expensive horses and Shashters(which even Pahari Raje didbot have with them)and so much.

Even If you people think Krisna or Ram are all bound to Maya and endless Births, Then atleast give some respect to them as they were far superior than us who just on the net doing ninda. Ethe Har Banda Rabb De Juwai Warga.

Wht you people want???? You people donot like AKal Takhats jathedars, you people donot like Sant Samaj.you people also donot like anyone spreading parchars about Gurmat. You people think what you know is always correct. WHAT YOU PEOPLE WANT??? WHY WE ARE ALWAYS looking at the negative aspect of everything. if you are looking at this video, then you shoudl also see those videos where in HE told the sangat not to do Matha TEK infront of SGGSJi and give utmost respect to SGGSJI. You should also see those videos also where in HE is telling the sangat not to clap infront SGGSJI. Seeing alone this video and doing Ninda is not good. We should also look at the positive side of this. How many people have been converted to SIkhs. Just looking at only Negative side of one means the fault is in the person who is perceiving in such a way.

When Guru Nanak Dev ji got married, the sangat went with Guru nanak ji to Batala, at that time Sangat Danced infront of Guru nanak Dev ji on their marriage for celebrations. WHAT YOU "LL SAY THIS IS NOT ALLOWED IN SIKHI DHARAm????? When we celebrate got our occasions at anytime or whenever we are in trouble; Donot we say GURU MERE SANG SADA HAi NAALE. and when we celebrate in front of SGGSJI, WHERE is OUR GURU MERE SANG SADA HAI NAALE. WHERE is satguru when we commit sins in Hide????

Dancing in your Marriage or someone's marriage and doing bhangra , attending Clubs WHERE is satguru at that time with you??? at gurudwara??? or with you all the time???. MEHL 5, Nanak Satgur Bhetiye Puri Hove Jugat. Hasandiya, Khelendiya, Pehndiya, Khawandiya Viche Hove MUKAT.

If SGGSji thinks it is wrong and you also think it is wrong... Why doesnot Satguru ji come out SGGSji and Punish these Culprit(thats what if you think) ad kill them?????? REMEMBER INORDER TO CONVINCE THIS MAALIK, BHULESHAH LEARNT DANCE FROM A PROSTITUTE. IN LOVE THERE IS NOT LIMITS.
