I think the wording in letter is bit misleading from bank. Also a number 713 is mention in same letter. These are number that people have canceled the direct debit accounts. Cancellation can only happen first it should get activated. Never the less, yesterday I was seeing in the sikh channel. Now 1000 is required to archive target of 10000. So I guess 9000 number already achieved in direct debit. Sangat should go ahead and setup direct debit so that quality programs can be produced by them. Achieving a 10000 milestone target will give them confidence , sustainability in producing good programs & sikh news to the wider world. Yes !! Of course the statement is misleading, its been on their website for a while and now i question it and surprise surprise ITS MISLEADING !!! So now HSBC bank is to blame ?? i think you are very closely connected to Sikh Channel , CAN YOU ALSO PLEASE TELL US WHY THE AMOUNT IN MONEY TERMS ISNT DISCLOSED ?? hOW MUCH IN MONEY IS THE SIKH cHANNEL GETTING FROM THESE DIRECT DEBITS ?? They are asking 3k to show the program in Willenhall but wont show th amount in £££s !!!

The statement clearly states " Total number of direct debits activated during the month of November was 8762 " So if 8762 was activated in November alone then what about the direct debits from the previous months ?It looks like they are probabaly getting at least over 20000 direct debits if they had 8762 in November alone !! I have noticed that everytime someone is anti Badal on a panel on the Sikh Channel , the presenter changes the topic or leads it away very cleverly. It happened when the live youth program was about the Ludhiana incident. Tonight during the Sant Samaj Update one of the panelist started talking about Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrenwala and Ranjit Singh Rana very cleverly diverted it and within 25seconds the talk about Sant ji was dropped. If anybody has any doubts or think i am paranoid then please get a copy of tonights program about the Sant Samaj Update and see for yourself. They are using this Ludhiana incident to emotionally blackmail people to donate !!! Pro BADAL !!!

Yeah i will list the orgs , but i would like you to list the accounts of the Sikh Channel for the last 4 months. It will be interesting to see their income against their outgoings. Especially like to know how much the Bal brothers Claims Today companies pay for adrvertising on the Sikh Channel . They want want to charge even for dharmic programs yet use the channel free to advertise their own companies !!!

Thats not entirely true, i met the Southall Vice President and they have no issues about feeding the students at all. I even spent half a day to see fort myself. Regardless of the politics we should congratulate the Singh Sabba Southall committee for such a positive move.

If one wishes to include the name of Sant ji, then one should adopt the principles that Sant Ji preached. Sant Ji is not a commodity that is used to market ones latest album. The Sikh Channel is about appeal for donations but i am sure the companies owned by the Bal brothers ( Claim Today etc etec ) dont pay for the adverts. The quality should have improved by now, especially as they have been funded by the Sangat very generously. If the money is not spent on programming then where is it going ???

Such sacrifices by these defenders of the faith and yet they are rotting in Hindustani jails without many of us even acknowledging their existance !!!
