And the same has been studied thoroughly by the undersigned once again but no where the word "Braham Gyani" is refered or used for Bhai Bhikhari ji in the above refered Sakhi in SURAJ PARKASH. So please before quoting something about GURBANI/GUR ITIHAAS/GURMAT ,please go through the references once again so as to ensure correct references are given only. Meeting the True Guru, I drink in this Ambrosial Nectar. ||2|| ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਵਹਿ ॥ vaddabhaagee har sangath paavehi || By great good fortune, the Lord's Congregation is found, ਭਾਗਹੀਨ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਚੋਟਾ ਖਾਵਹਿ ॥ bhaageheen bhram chottaa khaavehi || while the unfortunate ones wander around in doubt, enduring painful beatings. ਬਿਨੁ ਭਾਗਾ ਸਤਸੰਗੁ ਨ ਲਭੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਭਰੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥ bin bhaagaa sathasang n labhai bin sangath mail bhareejai jeeo ||3|| Without good fortune, the Sat Sangat is not found; without this Sangat, people are stained with filth and pollution. ||3|| ਮੈ ਆਇ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥ mai aae milahu jagajeevan piaarae || Come and meet me, O Life of the World, my Beloved. ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਇਆ ਮਨਿ ਧਾਰੇ ॥ har har naam dhaeiaa man dhhaarae || Please bless me with Your Mercy, and enshrine Your Name, Har, Har, within my mind. ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੀਠਾ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਇਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਮਨੁ ਭੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੪॥ guramath naam meethaa man bhaaeiaa jan naanak naam man bheejai jeeo ||4||4|| Through the Guru's Teachings, the Sweet Name has become pleasing to my mind. Vaar 13 Pauri 2 BHAI GURDAS JI ਗੁਰ ਸਿਖਹੁ ਗੁਰ ਸਿਖੁ ਹੈ ਪੀਰ ਪੀਰਹੁ ਕੋਈ । Gur sikhahu gur sikhu hai peer peerahu koee| By the teachings of the Guru many become disciples of the Guru, but some rare one becomes the Guru like that Guru. ਸਬਦਿ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਚੇਲਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਸੋਈ । sabadi surati chaylaa guroo paramaysaru soee| Only the practitioner of the word and consciousness can attain the status of Guru-God. ਦਰਸਨਿ ਦਿਸਟਿ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਿ ਗੁਰ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਹੋਈ । Darasani disati dhiaan dhari gur moorati hoee| Such a disciple concentrating on the philosophy of the Guru (and making it a part of daily conduct) himself becomes a likeness of Guru. ਸਬਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਸਤਿਸੰਗਿ ਵਿਲੋਈ । sabad surati kari keeratanu satisangi viloee| Making his consciousness attentive to Word through recitation of Naam, he merges in the holy congregation. ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਗੁਰਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਜਪਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਖੋਈ । vaahiguroo guramantr hai japi haumai khoee| His Guru-manta is Vahiguru, whose recitation erases egotism. ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਏ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਗੁਣ ਗੁਣੀ ਪਰੋਈ ॥੨॥ Aapu gavaaay aapi hai gun gunee paroee ॥2॥ Losing egotism and merging into the qualities of the supreme Lord, he himself becomes full of qualities.

There are so many "NOORMAHALIYA" type babas doing misinterpretation <br /> of Gurbani in their own way just to proove that they themselves are the<br /> only SATHGURU as per the definition given inb Gurbani. The list of such<br /> BABAS is very lengthy but main of these are Nirankari(akhoti), Radha Soami,<br /> Gurmeet Ram Rahim,etc.etc.<br /> If we see all this in the light of Gurbani and Gur Itihaas,<br /> this all has been happening during the time of GURU NANAK SAHIB to Guru <br /> Gobind singh Sahib. Prithhiya, Dheermal,Ramrai etc. were not different if <br /> compared to noormahaliya.But for the sake of dignity of SIKHI and to maintain<br /> the dignity of GURU DI SIKHYA,we should not treat or show our resentment<br /> in such a way which may compel ordinary man to say, "is it SIKHI"?<br /><br /> In RAMKALI KI VAAR,at ang 948, GURU BABA JI teaches us,:-<br /><br />ਸਲੋਕੁ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ <br />salok ma 3 ||<br />Shalok, Third Mehl:<br /> <br /><br />ਮਨ ਕਾ ਝੂਠਾ ਝੂਠੁ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥ <br />man kaa jhoothaa jhooth kamaavai ||<br />The man of false mind practices falsehood.<br /> <br /><br />ਮਾਇਆ ਨੋ ਫਿਰੈ ਤਪਾ ਸਦਾਵੈ ॥ <br />maaeiaa no firai thapaa sadhaavai ||<br />He runs after Maya, and yet pretends to be a man of disciplined meditation.<br /> <br /><br />ਭਰਮੇ ਭੂਲਾ ਸਭਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਗਹੈ ॥ <br />bharamae bhoolaa sabh theerathh gehai ||<br />Deluded by doubt, he visits all the sacred shrines of pilgrimage.<br /> <br /><br />ਓਹੁ ਤਪਾ ਕੈਸੇ ਪਰਮ ਗਤਿ ਲਹੈ ॥ <br />ouhu thapaa kaisae param gath lehai ||<br />How can such a man of disciplined meditation attain the supreme status?<br /> and at ang 949 it is told:-<br /><br />ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ <br />salok ma 3 ||<br />Shalok, Third Mehl:<br /> <br /><br />ਅਭਿਆਗਤ ਏਹਿ ਨ ਆਖੀਅਨਿ ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਚਿਤ ਮਹਿ ਭਰਮੁ ॥ <br />abhiaagath eaehi n aakheean jin kae chith mehi bharam ||<br />He is not called a renunciate, whose consciousness is filled with doubt.<br /> <br />ਤਿਸ ਦੈ ਦਿਤੈ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਤੇਹੋ ਜੇਹਾ ਧਰਮੁ ॥ <br />this dhai dhithai naanakaa thaeho jaehaa dhharam ||<br />Donations to him bring proportionate rewards.<br /><br />and again on same ang :-<br /><br />ਮਃ ੩ ॥ <br />ma 3 ||<br />Third Mehl:<br /> <br /><br />ਅਭਿਆਗਤ ਏਹਿ ਨ ਆਖੀਅਨਿ ਜਿ ਪਰ ਘਰਿ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਕਰੇਨਿ ॥ <br />abhiaagath eaehi n aakheean j par ghar bhojan karaen ||<br />They are not called renunciates, who take food in the homes of others.<br /> <br />ਉਦਰੈ ਕਾਰਣਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਹਲੇ ਭੇਖ ਕਰੇਨਿ ॥ <br />oudharai kaaran aapanae behalae bhaekh karaen ||<br />For the sake of their bellies, they wear various religious robes.<br /> <br />ਅਭਿਆਗਤ ਸੇਈ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਜਿ ਆਤਮ ਗਉਣੁ ਕਰੇਨਿ ॥ <br />abhiaagath saeee naanakaa j aatham goun karaen ||<br />They alone are renunciates, O Nanak, who enter into their own souls.<br /> <br />ਭਾਲਿ ਲਹਨਿ ਸਹੁ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਰਹਣੁ ਕਰੇਨਿ ॥੨॥ <br />bhaal lehan sahu aapanaa nij ghar rehan karaen ||2||<br />They seek and find their Husband Lord; they dwell <br />within the home of their own inner self. ||2||<br /><br /> At ang 950 we are told that:-<br /><br />ਮਃ ੩ ॥ <br />ma 3 ||<br />Third Mehl:<br /> <br /><br />ਮਨਮੁਖ ਬੋਲਿ ਨ ਜਾਣਨੀ ਓਨਾ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ॥ <br />manamukh bol n jaananee ounaa andhar kaam krodhh ahankaar ||<br />The self-willed manmukhs do not know what they are saying. They are filled with sexual desire, anger and egotism.<br /> <br /><br />ਓਇ ਥਾਉ ਕੁਥਾਉ ਨ ਜਾਣਨੀ ਉਨ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਲੋਭੁ ਵਿਕਾਰੁ ॥ <br />oue thhaao kuthhaao n jaananee oun anthar lobh vikaar ||<br />They do not understand right places and wrong places; they are filled with greed and corruption.<br /> <br /><br />ਓਇ ਆਪਣੈ ਸੁਆਇ ਆਇ ਬਹਿ ਗਲਾ ਕਰਹਿ ਓਨਾ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਮੁ ਜੰਦਾਰੁ ॥ <br />oue aapanai suaae aae behi galaa karehi ounaa maarae jam jandhaar ||<br />They come, and sit and talk for their own purposes. The Messenger of Death strikes them down.<br /> <br /><br />ਅਗੈ ਦਰਗਹ ਲੇਖੈ ਮੰਗਿਐ ਮਾਰਿ ਖੁਆਰੁ ਕੀਚਹਿ ਕੂੜਿਆਰ ॥ <br />agai dharageh laekhai mangiai maar khuaar keechehi koorriaar ||<br />Hereafter, they are called to account in the Court of the Lord; the false ones are struck down and humiliated.<br /> <br /><br />ਏਹ ਕੂੜੈ ਕੀ ਮਲੁ ਕਿਉ ਉਤਰੈ ਕੋਈ ਕਢਹੁ ਇਹੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥ <br />eaeh koorrai kee mal kio outharai koee kadtahu eihu veechaar ||<br />How can this filth of falsehood be washed off? (ਮੱਥਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਟੇਕਾਂ?) । (ਅਗੋਂ ਸਹੇਲੀ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ) ਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀਏ! ਮਃ ੪ ॥ Fourth Mehl: ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਨ ਮੰਨੈ ਓਹੁ ਮਨਮੁਖੁ ਅਗਿਆਨੁ ਮੁਠਾ ਬਿਖੁ ਮਾਇਆ ॥ Poorae gur kaa hukam n mannai ouhu manamukh agiaan muthaa bikh maaeiaa || One who does not obey the Hukam, the Command of the Perfect Guru - that self-willed manmukh is plundered by his ignorance and poisoned by Maya. ਓਸੁ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਕੂੜੁ ਕੂੜੋ ਕਰਿ ਬੁਝੈ ਅਣਹੋਦੇ ਝਗੜੇ ਦਯਿ ਓਸ ਦੈ ਗਲਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ Ous andhar koorr koorro kar bujhai anehodhae jhagarrae dhay ous dhai gal paaeiaa || Within him is falsehood, and he sees everyone else as false; the Lord has tied these useless conflicts around his neck. ਓਹੁ ਗਲ ਫਰੋਸੀ ਕਰੇ ਬਹੁਤੇਰੀ ਓਸ ਦਾ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਕਿਸੈ ਨ ਭਾਇਆ ॥ Ouhu gal farosee karae bahuthaeree ous dhaa boliaa kisai n bhaaeiaa || He babbles on and on, but the words he speaks please no one. ਓਹੁ ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਹੰਢੈ ਜਿਉ ਰੰਨ ਦ+ਹਾਗਣਿ ਓਸੁ ਨਾਲਿ ਮੁਹੁ ਜੋੜੇ ਓਸੁ ਭੀ ਲਛਣੁ ਲਾਇਆ ॥ Ouhu ghar ghar handtai jio rann dhuohaagan ous naal muhu jorrae ous bhee lashhan laaeiaa || He wanders from house to house like an abandoned woman; whoever associates with him is stained by the mark of evil as well. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਅਲਿਪਤੋ ਵਰਤੈ ਓਸ ਦਾ ਪਾਸੁ ਛਡਿ ਗੁਰ ਪਾਸਿ ਬਹਿ ਜਾਇਆ ॥ guramukh hoe s alipatho varathai ous dhaa paas shhadd gur paas behi jaaeiaa || Those who become Gurmukh avoid him; they forsake his company and sit near the Guru .ਜੋ ਗੁਰੁ ਗੋਪੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੁ ਭਲਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਪੰਚਹੁ ਓਨਿ ਲਾਹਾ ਮੂਲੁ ਸਭੁ ਗਵਾਇਆ ॥ jo gur gopae aapanaa s bhalaa naahee panchahu oun laahaa mool sabh gavaaeiaa || O chosen people, O self-elect, one who does not publicly affirm his Guru is not a good person; he loses all his profits and capital. ਪਹਿਲਾ ਆਗਮੁ ਨਿਗਮੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਆਖਿ ਸੁਣਾਏ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਬਚਨੁ ਉਪਰਿ ਆਇਆ ॥ Pehilaa aagam nigam naanak aakh sunaaeae poorae gur kaa bachan oupar aaeiaa || People used to chant and recite the Shaastras and the Vedas, O Nanak, but now the Words of the Perfect Guru have come to be the most exalted of all. ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਭਾਵੈ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀ ਮਨਮੁਖਾ ਓਹ ਵੇਲਾ ਹਥਿ ਨ ਆਇਆ ॥੨॥ Gurasikhaa vaddiaaee bhaavai gur poorae kee manamukhaa ouh vaelaa hathh n aaeiaa ||2|| The glorious greatness of the Perfect Guru is pleasing to the GurSikh; the self-willed manmukhs have lost this opportunity. ||2||(At ang 303 Sri Guru Granth sahib ji) AND ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੪ ॥ salok ma 4 ||Shalok, Fourth Mehl: ਮਲੁ ਜੂਈ ਭਰਿਆ ਨੀਲਾ ਕਾਲਾ ਖਿਧੋਲੜਾ ਤਿਨਿ ਵੇਮੁਖਿ ਵੇਮੁਖੈ ਨੋ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ Mal jooee bhariaa neelaa kaalaa khidhholarraa thin vaemukh vaemukhai no paaeiaa || The faithless baymukh sent out his faithless servant, wearing a blue-black coat, filled with filth and vermin. ਪਾਸਿ ਨ ਦੇਈ ਕੋਈ ਬਹਣਿ ਜਗਤ ਮਹਿ ਗੂਹ ਪੜਿ ਸਗਵੀ ਮਲੁ ਲਾਇ ਮਨਮੁਖੁ ਆਇਆ ॥ Paas n dhaeee koee behan jagath mehi gooh parr sagavee mal laae manamukh aaeiaa || No one in the world will sit near him; the self-willed manmukh fell into manure, and returned with even more filth covering him. ਪਰਾਈ ਜੋ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਚੁਗਲੀ ਨੋ ਵੇਮੁਖੁ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਓਥੈ ਭੀ ਮੁਹੁ ਕਾਲਾ ਦੁਹਾ ਵੇਮੁਖਾ ਦਾ ਕਰਾਇਆ ॥ Paraaee jo nindhaa chugalee no vaemukh kar kai bhaejiaa outhhai bhee muhu kaalaa dhuhaa vaemukhaa dhaa karaaeiaa || The faithless baymukh was sent to slander and back-bite others, but when he went there, the faces of both he and his faithless master were blackened instead. ਤੜ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਸਭਤੁ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚਿ ਭਾਈ ਵੇਮੁਖੁ ਸਣੈ ਨਫਰੈ ਪਉਲੀ ਪਉਦੀ ਫਾਵਾ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਉਠਿ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ॥ tharr suniaa sabhath jagath vich bhaaee vaemukh sanai nafarai poulee poudhee faavaa hoe kai outh ghar aaeiaa || It was immediately heard throughout the whole world, O Siblings of Destiny, that this faithless man, along with his servant, was kicked and beaten with shoes; in humiliation, they got up and returned to their homes. 8 Gaurhee Guru Ram Das ਅਗੈ ਸੰਗਤੀ ਕੁੜਮੀ ਵੇਮੁਖੁ ਰਲਣਾ ਨ ਮਿਲੈ ਤਾ ਵਹੁਟੀ ਭਤੀਜਂ​ੀ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਣਿ ਘਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ Agai sangathee kurramee vaemukh ralanaa n milai thaa vahuttee bhatheejanaee fir aan ghar paaeiaa || The faithless baymukh was not allowed to mingle with others; his wife and niece then brought him home to lie down. ਹਲਤੁ ਪਲਤੁ ਦੋਵੈ ਗਏ ਨਿਤ ਭੁਖਾ ਕੂਕੇ ਤਿਹਾਇਆ ॥ halath palath dhovai geae nith bhukhaa kookae thihaaeiaa || He has lost both this world and the next; he cries out continually, in hunger and thirst. ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਹੈ ਜਿਨਿ ਨਿਆਉ ਸਚੁ ਬਹਿ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਾਇਆ ॥ Dhhan dhhan suaamee karathaa purakh hai jin niaao sach behi aap karaaeiaa || Blessed, blessed is the Creator, the Primal Being, our Lord and Master; He Himself sits and dispenses true justice. ਜੋ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀ ਸੋ ਸਾਚੈ ਮਾਰਿ ਪਚਾਇਆ ॥ jo nindhaa karae sathigur poorae kee so saachai maar pachaaeiaa || One who slanders the Perfect True Guru is punished and destroyed by the True Lord. ਏਹੁ ਅਖਰੁ ਤਿਨਿ ਆਖਿਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਜਗਤੁ ਸਭੁ ਉਪਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ Eaehu akhar thin aakhiaa jin jagath sabh oupaaeiaa ||1|| This Word is spoken by the One who created the whole universe. ||1|| (at ang 306 Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji 0

ਟੋਡੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ttoddee mehalaa 5 ||Todee, Fifth Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਬਿਸਰਤ ਸਦਾ ਖੁਆਰੀ ॥ Har bisarath sadhaa khuaaree || Forgetting the Lord, one is ruined forever. ਤਾ ਕਉ ਧੋਖਾ ਕਹਾ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਓਟ ਤੁਹਾਰੀ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ Taa ko dhhokhaa kehaa biaapai jaa ko outt thuhaaree || rehaao || How can anyone be deceived, who has Your Support, O Lord? ||Pause|| ਬਿਨੁ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਜੋ ਜੀਵਨੁ ਬਲਨਾ ਸਰਪ ਜੈਸੇ ਅਰਜਾਰੀ ॥ Bin simaran jo jeevan balanaa sarap jaisae arajaaree || Without meditating in remembrance on the Lord, life is like a burning fire, even if one lives long, like a snake. ਨਵ ਖੰਡਨ ਕੋ ਰਾਜੁ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਅੰਤਿ ਚਲੈਗੋ ਹਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ Nav khanddan ko raaj kamaavai anth chalaigo haaree ||1|| One may rule over the nine regions of the earth, but in the end, he shall have to depart, losing the game of life. ||1| ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਗੁਣ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਗਾਏ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ॥ Gunh nidhhaan gunh tin hee gaaeae jaa ko kirapaa dhhaaree || He alone sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord, the treasure of virtue, upon whom the Lord showers His Grace. ਸੋ ਸੁਖੀਆ ਧੰਨੁ ਉਸੁ ਜਨਮਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥੨॥੨॥ so sukheeaa dhhann ous janamaa naanak this balihaaree ||2||2|| He is at peace, and his birth is blessed; Nanak is a sacrifice to him. ||2||2|| (At ang 811 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib)

ਗੋਂਡ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ gonadd mehalaa 5 || Gond, Fifth Mehl: ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਨੀਰਿ ਨਰਾਇਣ ॥ naam niranjan neer naraaein || The Name of the Immaculate Lord is the Ambrosial Water. ਰਸਨਾ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਪਾਪ ਬਿਲਾਇਣ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ rasanaa simarath paap bilaaein ||1|| rehaao || Chanting it with the tongue, sins are washed away. ||1||Pause|| ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਸਭ ਮਾਹਿ ਨਿਵਾਸ ॥ naaraaein sabh maahi nivaas || The Lord abides in everyone. ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਪਰਗਾਸ ॥ naaraaein ghatt ghatt paragaas || The Lord illumines each and every heart. ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਕਹਤੇ ਨਰਕਿ ਨ ਜਾਹਿ ॥ naaraaein kehathae narak n jaahi || Chanting the Lord's Name, one does not fall into hell. ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਗਲ ਫਲ ਪਾਹਿ ॥੧॥ naaraaein saev sagal fal paahi ||1|| Serving the Lord, all fruitful rewards are obtained. ||1|| ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਅਧਾਰ ॥ naaraaein man maahi adhhaar || Within my mind is the Support of the Lord. ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਬੋਹਿਥ ਸੰਸਾਰ ॥ naaraaein bohithh sansaar || The Lord is the boat to cross over the world-ocean. ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਕਹਤ ਜਮੁ ਭਾਗਿ ਪਲਾਇਣ ॥ naaraaein kehath jam bhaag palaaein || Chant the Lord's Name, and the Messenger of Death will run away. ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਦੰਤ ਭਾਨੇ ਡਾਇਣ ॥੨॥ naaraaein dhanth bhaanae ddaaein ||2|| The Lord breaks the teeth of Maya, the witch. ||2|| ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਸਦ ਸਦ ਬਖਸਿੰਦ ॥ naaraaein sadh sadh bakhasindh || The Lord is forever and ever the Forgiver. ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਕੀਨੇ ਸੂਖ ਅਨੰਦ ॥ naaraaein keenae sookh anandh || The Lord blesses us with peace and bliss. ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਨੋ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥ naaraaein pragatt keeno parathaap || The Lord has revealed His glory. ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਸੰਤ ਕੋ ਮਾਈ ਬਾਪ ॥੩॥ naaraaein santh ko maaee baap ||3|| The Lord is the mother and father of His Saint. ||3|| ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਨਰਾਇਣ ॥ naaraaein saadhhasang naraaein || The Lord, the Lord, is in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ਬਾਰੰ ਬਾਰ ਨਰਾਇਣ ਗਾਇਣ ॥ baaran baar naraaein gaaein || Time and time again, I sing the Lord's Praises. ਬਸਤੁ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਲਹੀ ॥ basath agochar gur mil lehee || Meeting with the Guru, I have attained the incomprehensible object. ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਓਟ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਗਹੀ ॥੪॥੧੭॥੧੯॥ naaraaein outt naanak dhaas gehee ||4||17||19|| Slave Nanak has grasped the Support of the Lord. ||4||17||19|| (At ang 867 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji)

ਕੇਤੇ ਰਾਗ ਪਰੀ ਸਿਉ ਕਹੀਅਨਿ ਕੇਤੇ ਗਾਵਣਹਾਰੇ ॥ kaethae raag paree sio keheean kaethae gaavanehaarae || So many Ragas, so many musicians singing there. ਗਾਵਹਿ ਤੁਹਨੋ ਪਉਣੁ ਪਾਣੀ ਬੈਸੰਤਰੁ ਗਾਵੈ ਰਾਜਾ ਧਰਮੁ ਦੁਆਰੇ ॥ gaavehi thuhano poun paanee baisanthar gaavai raajaa dhharam dhuaarae || The praanic wind, water and fire sing; the Righteous Judge of Dharma sings at Your Door. ਗਾਵਹਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਲਿਖਿ ਜਾਣਹਿ ਲਿਖਿ ਲਿਖਿ ਧਰਮੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੇ ॥ gaavehi chith gupath likh jaanehi likh likh dhharam veechaarae || Chitr and Gupt, the angels of the conscious and the subconscious who record actions, and the Righteous Judge of Dharma who judges this record sing. ਗਾਵਹਿ ਈਸਰੁ ਬਰਮਾ ਦੇਵੀ ਸੋਹਨਿ ਸਦਾ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥ gaavehi eesar baramaa dhaevee sohan sadhaa savaarae || Shiva, Brahma and the Goddess of Beauty, ever adorned, sing. ਗਾਵਹਿ ਇੰਦ ਇਦਾਸਣਿ ਬੈਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆ ਦਰਿ ਨਾਲੇ ॥ gaavehi eindh eidhaasan baithae dhaevathiaa dhar naalae || Indra, seated upon His Throne, sings with the deities at Your Door. ਗਾਵਹਿ ਸਿਧ ਸਮਾਧੀ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਗਾਵਨਿ ਸਾਧ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ॥ gaavehi sidhh samaadhhee andhar gaavan saadhh vichaarae || The Siddhas in Samaadhi sing; the Saadhus sing in contemplation. ਗਾਵਨਿ ਜਤੀ ਸਤੀ ਸੰਤੋਖੀ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਵੀਰ ਕਰਾਰੇ ॥ gaavan jathee sathee santhokhee gaavehi veer karaarae || The celibates, the fanatics, the peacefully accepting and the fearless warriors sing. ਗਾਵਨਿ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਪੜਨਿ ਰਖੀਸਰ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਵੇਦਾ ਨਾਲੇ ॥ gaavan panddith parran rakheesar jug jug vaedhaa naalae || The Pandits, the religious scholars who recite the Vedas, with the supreme sages of all the ages, sing. ਗਾਵਹਿ ਮੋਹਣੀਆ ਮਨੁ ਮੋਹਨਿ ਸੁਰਗਾ ਮਛ ਪਇਆਲੇ ॥ gaavehi mohaneeaa man mohan suragaa mashh paeiaalae || The Mohinis, the enchanting heavenly beauties who entice hearts in this world, in paradise, and in the underworld of the subconscious sing. ਗਾਵਨਿ ਰਤਨ ਉਪਾਏ ਤੇਰੇ ਅਠਸਠਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਨਾਲੇ ॥ gaavan rathan oupaaeae thaerae athasath theerathh naalae || The celestial jewels created by You, and the sixty-eight holy places of pilgrimage sing. ਗਾਵਹਿ ਜੋਧ ਮਹਾਬਲ ਸੂਰਾ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਖਾਣੀ ਚਾਰੇ ॥ gaavehi jodhh mehaabal sooraa gaavehi khaanee chaarae || The brave and mighty warriors sing; the spiritual heroes and the four sources of creation sing. ਗਾਵਹਿ ਖੰਡ ਮੰਡਲ ਵਰਭੰਡਾ ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਰਖੇ ਧਾਰੇ ॥ gaavehi khandd manddal varabhanddaa kar kar rakhae dhhaarae || The planets, solar systems and galaxies, created and arranged by Your Hand, sing. ਸੇਈ ਤੁਧੁਨੋ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਜੋ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵਨਿ ਰਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਗਤ ਰਸਾਲੇ ॥ saeee thudhhuno gaavehi jo thudhh bhaavan rathae thaerae bhagath rasaalae || They alone sing, who are pleasing to Your Will. Your devotees are imbued with the Nectar of Your Essence. ਹੋਰਿ ਕੇਤੇ ਗਾਵਨਿ ਸੇ ਮੈ ਚਿਤਿ ਨ ਆਵਨਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਕਿਆ ਵੀਚਾਰੇ ॥ hor kaethae gaavan sae mai chith n aavan naanak kiaa veechaarae || So many others sing, they do not come to mind. O Nanak, how can I consider them all? ਸੋਈ ਸੋਈ ਸਦਾ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਚੀ ਨਾਈ ॥ soee soee sadhaa sach saahib saachaa saachee naaee || That True Lord is True, Forever True, and True is His Name. ਹੈ ਭੀ ਹੋਸੀ ਜਾਇ ਨ ਜਾਸੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਰਚਾਈ ॥ hai bhee hosee jaae n jaasee rachanaa jin rachaaee || He is, and shall always be. He shall not depart, even when this Universe which He has created departs. ਰੰਗੀ ਰੰਗੀ ਭਾਤੀ ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਉਪਾਈ ॥ rangee rangee bhaathee kar kar jinasee maaeiaa jin oupaaee || He created the world, with its various colors, species of beings, and the variety of Maya. ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਕੀਤਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਿਵ ਤਿਸ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥ kar kar vaekhai keethaa aapanaa jiv this dhee vaddiaaee ||Having created the creation, He watches over it Himself, by His Greatness. ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਕਰਸੀ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਨ ਕਰਣਾ ਜਾਈ ॥ jo this bhaavai soee karasee hukam n karanaa jaaee || He does whatever He pleases. No order can be issued to Him. ਸੋ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ਸਾਹਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਰਹਣੁ ਰਜਾਈ ॥੨੭॥ so paathisaahu saahaa paathisaahib naanak rehan rajaaee ||27|| He is the King, the King of kings, the Supreme Lord and Master of kings. Nanak remains subject to His Will. ||27||

ਤਿਲਕ ਜੰਵੂ ਰਾਖਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤਾ ਕਾ ॥ ਕੀਨੋ ਬਡੋ ਕਲੂ ਮਹਿ ਸਾਕਾ ॥ Tilak janjhoo raakhaa Prabh taa kaa|| Koono bado kaloo maih saakaa| |He protected the forehead mark and sacred thread (of the Hindus) which marked a great event in the Iron age. ਸਾਧਨ ਹੇਤਿ ਇਤੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਕਰੀ ॥ ਸੀਸੁ ਦੀਆ ਪਰ ਸੀ ਨ ਉਚਰੀ ॥੧੩॥ Saadhan het(i) itoo jin(i) daroo|| Soos(u) dooaa par soo na ucdaroo||13|| For the sake of saints, he laid down his head without even a sign.13 ਧਰਮ ਹੇਤਿ ਸਾਕਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਆ ॥ ਸੀਸੁ ਦੀਆ ਪਰ ਸਿਰਰੁ ਨ ਦੀਆ ॥ Dharam het(i) saakaa jin kooaa|| Soos(u) dooaa par sirar(u) na dooaa|| For the sake of Dharma, he sacrificed himself.
