  1. This is Kuljit Singh. I reluctantly interviewed the two for Sikh channel...I had arrived with understanding that will be doing a q and a with a panel but found myself CONDUCTIng the interview with Sonia and Tommy nagra the exec prod for documentary. Sonia completely and utterly lied on Sikh channel to sangat. She said the doc had nothing to do with Sant Jarnail Singh ji... but when u look at the factual information supplied in documentary and compare to real facts ... sant ji was shown as a congress puppet. Gursikhs carrying shashters were called militants when know that Sant Sipahi is the aim of a khalsa... there were so many incorrect references to numbers of victims and total disregard to human rights stats and the reports of other journalists. No mention of hindus who joined amritdhari ranks ... Sonia shows her shallowness in two areas...its acknowledged she is walking on the path...but no mention of diwali reason of celebration for sikhs ; responds to an 18 yr old and questions him in a manner that prob just confused the lad rather than made him understand the question! pathetic attempt to portray the 84 issue. Have to go work tomorow with prospect of making sant ji look in better light than what was portrayed. Sant ji's speeches clear the congress puppet argument as well as akali supporter argument. As for tully's feet touching sant ji's sri sahib. Says it all ...goray cant and prob wont ever get it. Bus incident totally confused and shown wrecklessly as the time when sant jis notes were burnt! SONIA lied blatantly on sikh channel that the documentary wasnt about sant jarnail singh ji...id estimate nearly third of it was related to sant ji. positive things was kes issue for bibia...but there are strong bibia who have got more guts than sonia...who was reluctant to even cover her own head in sikh channel studio [because in her own words...she felt uncomfortable.] i asked if she could reappear on mon nites show but she quickly avoided the question. when i told her about sant ji's jivan in the studio she looked shocked...she clearly has not done too much research herself. anyways sikh sangat will prob put her right in the next couple of days. there were so many facts i noted but i will prob reply to her . we can complain to bbc through website...write valid reasons. and demand a docum that actually portrays sant ji in the right manner.

  8. an organisation like a Sikh watchdog but with young sikhs to do the watching and reacting would be brilliant but on the other hand we are already in khalsa panth organisation and already should be active and reactive... sometimes just saying its seva is better than nothing. But you are right momentum is needed... it seems to me the same R4G sevadaars are ones who are at the forefront but seems to be spreading to the watchdog/parchar scene so ...maybe keep going with the flow and maharaj mite just baksh us with a proper org. Just some thoughts. Waheguru jee ka khalsa waheguru jee kee phateh
  9. Piyari Saad Sangat Jeeo, Yesterday there was a talk held in a London University by the islamic society who had invited recent converts to their religion. After the Coventry Incident it had been decided amongst the Uk sangat that someone will attend this talk and remonstrate or demonstrate with the organisers if they put forward the recent speaker Aman Dhaliwal who went on to do nindia of guru sahibs. Usually we tend to get such negative responses from the sangat especially when satkar of guru jee or sikhi is concerned and something has been done about it, but what happened yesterday is surely commendable. The youth who numbered about 50-60 including amritdharis and non amritdharis united in love for maharaj and went to this talk. With maharaj's will the Speaker Aman Dhaliwal had not attended. It was a sight to see in the lecture room, the room was full of 50-60 singhs. The atmosphere was slightly tense, probably due to the fact that maybe the organisers did not expect us. When we walked in, IT WAS SAD TO SEE SOME SIKH LADS AND GIRLS STANDING WAITING at the entrance. One Sikh lad had a dastaar, and one mona lad came up to us very surprised and visibly shaking saying how did you find out about this? Sangat jee we have to start involving ourselves in talks of other universities aswell...Firstly our own knowledge of other faiths will increase, but also we will get an opportunity to see just how many of our brothers and sisters are wavering or going over to other sides. Secondly, the people who go to these talks of other faith groups should make sure they have knowledge of what maharaj says about their faith. Some of these points will come up in a bit. We didnt really see any other people there ie white people, mainly asian muslim or apnay. The talker started to talk. In effect what he said were valid points. He was a 3year old black muslim male, who had been 'institutionalised' from day one in care homes, correctional establishments and bascially went through criminal actvities and prison spells until he read the Koran. Then he decided to become muslim but in his own words couldnt find a right practising 'muslim'. All credit to him because he also said that he was empty and if he had come across sikh, buddhist or hindu scriptures he would have 'filled up' with them. Then he also mentioned how he found muslim young people not really praying properly or not understanding what they were doing. There were similarities between our youth and them. He also talked about how the koran should be read by non muslims to see what it says. At the end he opened up to questions from the floor. Singh1 put his hand up saying the reason why they were there was because of the 'sikh' convert speaker issue. He went onto to say that there is free will and democracy in this country. Funny how that is mentioned when it pleases the mind. Simple answer to that was that singh 1 asked if he had kids. The speaker replied he did, and singh 1 asked would he educate them about islam he replied definitely, then was asked would he feel pain therefore if his children converted to another faith? It hit him that maybe other people are just as passionate about their faiths apart from islam. Singh 2 then chose to expand on the definition of 'Sikh'. The islamic society from coventry had said Sikh Convert on their flyers etc but how can one convert if they were not sikh in the first place. Singh 2 asked the speaker to think about the use of the word convert , revert by asking if he had any faith before being muslim [he said he was a convert]; the speaker replied no and agreed that he really was not a convert because he was empty before. Singh 3 then chose to tell the whole audience that Guru jee refers to the nature of a muslim in guru granth sahib jee as having a heart of wax ie should be compassionate and accepting of others, and this is contrary to making others a part of their own system. This was met with a round of applause from everyone in the hall. Singh 4 then chose to make it clear that aman dhaliwal should not really slander the gurus or talk disrespectfully of the SIkh religion, and neither should he be talking as it is clearly provocative. The talker agreed entirely and promised to let the organisers and islamic societys know that this is important that he does not slander sikhi in anyway shape or form. Sangat jee , for your information at the speaker quoted from the koran - that one should not enforce religion on another- at this point Singh 1 wanted to ask " so is it true to say that a muslim going out trying to convert others is not right pracitising?" but time did not allow us to. In between all this the dean of the university and a hindu entertainments rep from the student union tried to stop the talk which was quite funny because the conversation was amicable and not at all threatening. In fact there were muslims in the lecture room who were agreeing with what was being said. Sangat jee we need to be really clear with our thoughts and intentions. The number of youths there looked intimidating but the way the conversation went , it seemed that parchar of what a gursikh should be like was also going on. Saadh sangat jee to clarify more issues at the end of the talk singh 1 went to the front to talk to the speaker with others. He represents a society called ISLAMIC PROPAGATION SOCIETY you should be able to get charity number from charity commission. We obtained his email to make sure the so called sikh talker does not talk again or is controlled - but we need to monitor these situations...our eyes and ears at unis are students themselves...baki maharaj kirpa kardea. Singh 1 asked the speaker if a muslim does not get up for fajr niwaaj [their amrit vela prayer] then can they be called a muslim? he said definitely not. Singh1 said similarly if a Sikh cannot satisfy the definition of a sikh by Guru jee, then he cannot be a sikh. Our role is to work up to this definition. THE SPEAKER REMARKED: HE DID NOT KNOW SUCH A DEFINITON OF A SIKH EXISTED. Conclusion The singhs left controlled and with piyar. The task was complete, but we know by all means it never will be completed as Guru jees itihaas [history] has shown us. But one thing is for sure, credit goes out the youth ; who ususally dont get credit for good things. When the everyone returned to gurdwara a collective ardas was done asking maharaj for knowledge of our sikhi , keeping tiyar bar tiyar in rehit so that we can offer our minds bodys and wealth to guru jee for seva as well as knowledge of other faiths for our own sake. Sangat jee: important issues arose from this: 1) parchar of sikhi in 'needy' areas like prisons hospitals and schools - through leaflets gatka and maybe awareness weeks 2) need for ourselves to be tiar bar tiar but also veechar before travelling to panthic issues so that we can come to an agreed conclusion 3) preparation of materials explaining sikhi to the 't' all areas. 4) the presence of all sangat was powerful to sikh non sikh members of audience. just to finish maharaj 'killed it'. After the ardas, raagis were doing kirtan and sang the shabad "gursikha kee har dhoor de hum paapi bhee gat pae" give me the dust of the feet of gursikhs [love for each other] so that i the sinner may be saved. Sangat jee maharaj built up the whole situation to finish it off with this lesson. All the gursikhs non amritdhari or not / different jathebandies also embraced each other. Shared fatehs and left. please forgive any errors in relaying the events back. please do ardas that maharaj har maidanay fateh isse tara bakshan. Waheguru jee ka khala waheguru jee kee phateh. one of the paapis. Fourth Mehl: One who calls himself a Sikh of the Guru, the True Guru, shall rise in the early morning hours and meditate on the Lord's Name. Upon arising early in the morning, he is to bathe, and cleanse himself in the pool of nectar. Following the Instructions of the Guru, he is to chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. All sins, misdeeds and negativity shall be erased. Then, at the rising of the sun, he is to sing Gurbani; whether sitting down or standing up, he is to meditate on the Lord's Name. One who meditates on my Lord, Har, Har, with every breath and every morsel of food - that GurSikh becomes pleasing to the Guru's Mind. That person, unto whom my Lord and Master is kind and compassionate - upon that GurSikh, the Guru's Teachings are bestowed. Servant Nanak begs for the dust of the feet of that GurSikh, who himself chants the Naam, and inspires others to chant it. ||2||

  22. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh This article was in sundays news of the world and is online too... really really bad... puts the name sant and khalsa into bad light...there are true sants in this world and true khalsa's but few and far between INVESTIGATION: This coach load of illegal immigrants thought they were going to work... Busted! By Mazher Mahmood I DROVE a mini-bus load of illegals into the arms of the law yesterday—as my expose of an immigration racket run by a Sikh ‘saint' reached its dramatic climax. My passengers—some of whom had posed as Sikh priests to get into the UK —had happily piled into the mini-bus looking forward to jobs I'd promised them in my construction firm. But they were walking into a trap and within minutes the bus was stopped at a road block and surrounded by cops. The men stayed quiet as the cops hauled them out of the minibus and led them to a police van. Last night they were being quizzed by immigration officials. The bust was the culmination of an incredible month-long investigation into an immigration racket run from the Nanaksar Temple in Walsall, West Midlands. During the probe, living ‘saint' Sant Baba Baljit Singhji Khalsa fixed it for me to buy papers which would state that one of my ‘relatives' was a priest, allowing him entry to Britain. The papers were handed over by his partner in crime, Sikh priest Randhir Singh, who pocketed £400. I was posing as a construction firm boss—and Singh jumped at the chance to get work for some of his pals. He told me: "There are a few of our brothers here who need jobs. They don't have any papers so they can't work legally. "Can you give them jobs? You can com e here illegally by posing as priests or in lorries, but once you're here it's hard to get jobs with reasonable money. Obviously you only have to pay them a fraction of what you would pay English labourers." Farewells We arranged to meet at the temple at 12:30pm yesterday. When I arrived, Priest Randhir emerged with Harbans Singh, who is masquerading as a priest, and Jagdish Singh, who is applying to stay in the country as a priest even though he has been working as a garage mechanic. Randhir gave me a long embrace and the other two men shook hands with me before climbing into the 17-seater minibus. Randhir asked me to drive to a terraced house, where we picked up another five illegals. Randhir believed I was taking his cronies to London, where they would start new lives working on my building site. But they never got out of Walsall. I had met immigration officials before going to the temple and they had given me a map pinpointing the quiet industrial estate where they would lie in wait for me to deliver the immigrants. When I pulled up with my cargo of illegals, they swooped. Each of the men was ordered off the bus to be told through an interpreter they were arrested. My lasting image is of Priest Randhir in handcuffs, arms outstretched begging to be freed. Bizarrely, a senior officer later asked if they could put the men back in the minibus and if I could drive them into Birmingham where they would be quizzed. I agreed and several officers got into the van to watch over the men during the journey. We were tipped off about the racket by head priest of the Nanaksar Temple, Karnail Singh. He said: "It is scandalous how our religion is being used in an immigration racket. "It's happening at temples all over the country, including my own, and is a huge racket." Anyone applying to come here as a priest must show that they have been properly ordained following a minimum of one year's training. After four years, ministers can apply to live here permanently. To uncover the fake priest scandal I posed as a Sikh and arranged an audience with Indian holy man, Sant Baba Baljit Singhji Khalsa, who was in Britain on a preaching tour. This ‘living saint'—who faces firearms charges in India—was soon offering to arrange to bring my fictitious cousin to Britain. "Is he a Sikh with a full beard?" he inquired. "He hasn't shaved has he?" Sikhs are not allowed to cut their hair, so anyone posing as a preacher would have to have a long beard. Sant Baba said he could arrange a letter from a temple for our man. He told me: "The temples have made it a business. There are a few temples that are doing it nowadays." We told Sant Baba we were worried our man would not be able to convince the authorities he was a Sikh priest because he did not know enough about the religious texts. Clever Sant Baba said: "He will have to prepare. I'll show him the way. It'll take ten days. But a clever bloke can do it in just two days." He later arranged for me to meet his right-hand man Randhir Singh, who told me: "Your letter will be done, don't worry. "It'll be £400 because it has to be official. It'll say we want your man to come here to preach. It'll say all his accommodation and living costs will be down to us." The following day Randhir arranged to hand over the letter. We met outside a library near the temple and he proudly showed off the document addressed to the Home Office in New Delhi. The letter from the Guru Nanak Sikh Mission Darbar in Rugby was signed by its president, Jaswant Singh Kalsi. It said: "The Executive Committee wish to sponsor the following preacher and support the visa application for a religious tour." It then named our fictitious man in India as a preacher. Randhir Singh bragged: "More than a 100 people have come over like this. The Home Office can't do anything because our papers show that you are a priest and that your services are required at a temple here. Worry "Don't worry. As long as your man has a beard and a turban and looks like a priest and can speak a few words of English, he will be here in a flash. "Once he is here for a couple of years, he can stay here with his family forever!" I handed over £400 which he counted out in front of me—twice. He said: "It's a pukka job. Your man is sorted." Also hoping to get sorted soon are Sukha Singh and Nidhan Singh. They arrived in Britain on the back of a lorry and have sought refuge at the temple. Sukha told me: "I have no papers. We are both saving up to try and get priest status so we can stay. God is great." Now the sinners can look forward to being kicked out of their safe haven. Our dossier is available to the authorities.
