3. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. Go to a darzee (tailor) near a large Gurdwara Sahib , they have better knowledge of Sikhi Kacheras.
4. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. Patang(a) is a butterly/moth. Bhring is a black bee. Mrig is a deer. These beings have a weakness and as such become trapped due to temptation. A patanga cannot resist a flame , hence gets burnt to death. A bee cannot resist pollen , hence becomes trapped in the flower and dies. The deer cannot resist a special sound , hence the hunter reproduces that sound and captures the deer. An elephant is extremely lustful , hence the hunter lures him by making a makeshift female and digging a masive hole in front of it , the elephant falls in and is left to starve until it is deprived of it's strength. The hunter then enslaves the elephant. A monkey is lured by a round jar of nuts. The monkey puts his empty hand through the narrow opening but when the hand is full it will not retract. The monkey does not realise that he can escape by letting go of the nuts , hence he is caught and becomes a slave. A parrot is lured by seeds on a perch with seeds underneath. The parrot looks in the water and sees it's reflection , he thinks he is going to drown and as such grips the perch very tightly. The parrot is then caught and enslaved. These animals have one vice each. The human has all of them. Guru Maharajh says: Read Gurbani , reflect on Gurbani , and act upon the teachings f you want to break free from the cycle of rebirths.

6. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. In their autobiography Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharajh says: "Dwa te ek ho ghayo"..........(we started off as two but became one). Guru Maharajh and Waheguru are the same.
7. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. Sat Sangat , Sadh Sangat , Sant Sangh etc...... According to the philosopphy of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharajh , sadh is some one who engages in meditating upon waheguru and urges others to follow suit , Sant is some one who engages in meditating upon waheguru and urges others to follow suit. Initially all references are to do with simran. As one's avasthaa (spirituality ) develops , one will find the company of some Gursikhs more magnetic than others and as such will want to spend more time with them. Most of us , as Sikhs , cannot often determine the status of a Sadh or Sant but as we engage in daily nitnem our spirituality will take us to different levels of understanding and different Gursikhs. It will be a individual experience but the most important thing to remember is Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Hukum (command) : Read Gurbani daily , reflect upon Gurbani , and "swallow" Gurbani i.e. act on the teachings.
8. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. Gursikhi becomes anti-social when Gursikhs fail to comply with Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Hukum (command) : Read Gurbani daily , reflect on Gurbani , and "swallow" Gurbani , i.e. act upon it.

10. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. Some can obtain Rass (sweet taste) from Gurbani by reading out aloud whilst others can obtain it by reading Gurbani internally. It all depends on the individual's avasthaa (state of spirituality). There are different stages of avasthaa and as one continues to engage in nitnem , the avasthaa changes accordingly. There comes a stage where Rass drips uncontrollaby without even engaging actively in nitnem. The aim is Rass. Which ever method works , use it. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharajh Says to Gursikhs to read Gurbani on a daily basis , reflect on the meanings , and then adopt the Sikhia (teachings) of Gurbani.
11. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. In Gurbani and other Sikh scriptures the words" Apna and Prayha" are used to describe sexual conduct and sexual misconduct. The word "Apna" means "one's own",and conversley, the word "Prayha"means "other than one's own". Sexual conduct or desires with prayha are totally frowned upon in Gurbani. Since pre-marital sex would be with a prayha, hence it is not acceptable. In the same way extra-marital sex would be with a prayha too. We have a story of Bhai Joga Singh who almost fell into pre-marital temptation. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharajh formed the roop of a pehradaar(guard) and persuaded Joga Singh to refrain from such activity.

13. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. There is no proof that the Sri Dassam Granth is NOT the Bani of Sri Gobind Singh Maharajh. There is no proof against the authenticity of SGGS either. Bhai Gurdas Ji's vaaran & kabit svaye are original aswell. Bhai Nand Lal Ji's Ghazals are also authentic. If somebody does not have vishvaas(faith) in the above, what purpose are they serving by preaching heresy. Are there not enough divisions in the Panth already?
14. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. There is a Punjabi saying that the more Guddh(sugar) we put into something, the sweeter it becomes. The more Gurbani we read/listen,the more sweeter the life becomes. Sri Guru Amar Das Ji say that if we read/listen to the entire Anand Sahib (forty pauree) three times daily, our lives will become extremely Anandat(blissful).
15. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji gives darshan whenever the Gursikh engages in Satnam Waheguru and deires to receive darshan.

16. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. It is a truly beautiful feeling when one rises early in the morning, does ishnaan, and engages in nitnem. The whole day becomes beautiful. Amrit Vela has other definitions too: The human life is Amrit Vela. Reading/listening to Gurbani is Amrit Vela. Amrit Vela commences when one engages in Gurbani and ceases when one stops Gurbani.
17. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave the Gursikh a Karra in the form of a handcuff. The handcuff is to refrain from: Cutting Hair Using tobacco products Sexual relations other than with spouse Eating Halal Engaging in any other anti-social activity. If the Gursikh refrains from the above, then the worn Karra has been succesful. If the Gursikh engages in the above, then the Karra does not remain a Karra in Guru Ji's definition.

20. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. I was reading Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji's rehatnama regarding Gursikh marriage. Guru Ji states that a Gursikh has to refrain from marriage from two surnames, namely; thier own (paternal) and nanakay (maternal). As per the above a Gursikh cannot marry: Massi's offspring (same maternal surname). Cannot marry Pooah's offspring (maternal/paternal clash). Cannot marry Mamma's offspring (Maternal surname clash). Other than the two surnames there is no other instruction as per my understanding.
21. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. Ninḏā bẖalī kisai kī nāhī manmukẖ mugaḏẖ karann. It is not good to slander anyone, but the foolish, self-willed manmukhs still do it. Muh kāle ṯin ninḏkā narke gẖor pavann. ||6|| The faces of the slanderers turn black, and they fall into the most horrible hell. ||6|| (SGGS Page755) I have heard in Katha on many occasions that Guru Ji teaches us to refrain from ninda(slander). There are about one hundred and thirty odd references to ninda in SGGS,some relating to ninda of Guru Sahiban, some realating to ninda of Sants, and some regarding ninda in general. When a Gursikh engages in nitnayam (daily reading of gurbani/Naam Simran) ,they receive a very big Phall (spiritual strength). This phall can wipe out the paap (sins) and thus give a beautiful inner peace and strength. The unfortunate scenario is that when a Gursikh crosses the bounadary of Gurmat and engages in ninda , the Gursikh passes the phall onto the person being slandered, thus: ਪੰਨਾ 339, ਸਤਰ 2 ਨਿੰਦਾ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਖਰੀ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥ निंदा जन कउ खरी पिआरी ॥ Ninḏā jan ka▫o kẖarī pi▫ārī. Slander is pleasing to the Lord's humble servant. Ninḏā bāp ninḏā mėhṯārī. ||1|| rahā▫o. Slander is my father, slander is my mother. Ninḏā hamrā karai uḏẖār. Slander is my salvation. Ninḏā karahi sir bẖār uṯẖā▫e. They slander others and carry loads of sin upon their heads. Guru Ji say that ninda is akin to eating the slandered persons faeces. In some cases the nindak also has to take the karam (deeds) of the slandered. Let us all engage in nitnayam even more but can we really afford to lose our phall? Ninda is the demise of our chardi kala.

23. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKEFATEH. I was reading Gur Ithihas(history) of Sri Guru Amar Das Ji. Some Pandits complained to the ruling authorities that Guru Ji has taken an "unnecessary" step by composing Gurbani. The Pandits complained that the Hindu Scriptures already contained divine Knowledge. In order to clarify the stance on Gurbani, the authorities requested that Guru Ji attend a meeting to clarify the situation. Upon receiving the invitation Guru Ji delegated the task to Bhai Jetha Ji(Sri Guru Ramdas Ji). Bhai Jetha Ji was stunned at this command since he felt that he did not have knowledge of all the religious scriptures in order to convince the authorities and the Pandits. Sri Guru Amar das Ji said to Bhai Jetha Ji that when he arrives at the meeting,he should recite Mool Mantar five times and then look at his right arm. Bhai Jetha Ji followed GuruJi's command to the full. Upon reciting Mool Mantar Bhai Jetha Ji answered all the questions with such knowledge and clarity that the Pandits were left speechlees and the ruling authorities were impressed. There are many other examples and experiences of reciting Mool Mantar, the above is just one example.
