  1. I'm not saying don't help, sorry if you got that, I'm saying we reap what we sow. If bad things happen in my life, it is MY FAULT, not God's, and IMO (different from UK bro's opinion), that is true for everybody. I'm not saying those less fortunate should not be cared for and that we should not show compassion for them. I didn't mean to appear bigoted, but is OUR karma, IMO, that determines our life; it's our past actions, and that does not just apply to disabled but to everyone; I didn't mean to single ANYBODY out. This rule applies, IMO, to all beings who suffer, except those who are Godly enough to be above the hands of karma.
  2. When did I say to beocme a Sikh u must've been a mughal? LOL, and you said this on the first page : "It's just the lottery of nature." That implies nature determines some things, which would mean it's a semi-diety under God. That can't be, it has to be under God's control,, so there cant be randomness, and hence, no lottery. You also said : Are you seriously telling me that the white Americans who consume the highest levels of alcohol, commit the most adultery and enjoy as much drugs on a per capita basis as anybody else have prayed the most in their previous lives whilst the poor gareeb folks from India and Africa who do nobody any harm and live a humble shareef way deserved their lot because they must have done a lot of bad crimes in their past life? Uhhhh, yea, I'm saying it is certainly possible bro , regarding the white americans, and as for people suffering in Africa? Their colour of skin IMO is of no importancee as it doesnt matter, but tthey reaped what they sow. You think God just punishes people randomly? They did things, those that are starving, and now they reeap the rewards of it. and Guru Ji did not suffer on the 'taavi'... anywyas, my two cents, there they are. below is a defintive answer: ਅਮੁਲੁ ਧਰਮੁ ਅਮੁਲੁ ਦੀਬਾਣੁ ॥ Amul Dhharam Amul Dheebaan || अमुलु धरमु अमुलु दीबाणु ॥ Priceless is the Divine Law of Dharma, Priceless is the Divine Court of Justice. 5 ਜਪੁ (ਮ: ੧) ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੫ ਪੰ. ੧੭ Jap Guru Nanak Dev Ang:5 Line: 17
  3. Must say rebel, I believe uk London is absolutely wrong in his whole "lottery system" of things. That just would not be fair at all. Our God Is fair. He does not hold a lottery to determine how a child will be birthed IMO. It's much more than a role of the dice in my view. Gods plan is immaculate and takes into account all actions of our previous life is what I think. I would side with you, rebel, based on my knowledge, and totally say our karma determines our future and is the reason some are born disabled. Oh and as for the sakhiya? Totally 100% believe they are true.
  4. We can't let 1984 be like the Jewish holocaust, many jokes about it now cuz it wasn't stopped This was from before.. makes me want to support China's mopping the floor with these people
  5. If Fauja Singh r someone on his behalf speaks on this issue, think western papers will take notice??
  6. while we wait for replies, just butting in to say how about those people wearing Dastars at the opening ceremony eh? :khalsa: go canada and about ur question, im not sure many people would give u a number, for some, its personal , they like keeping it to themselves.
  7. WJK WJF http://searchgurbani.../pauri/9/line/5 In Line 5 (highlighted), why does Bhai Gurdas Ji say "Har Ji Aye"? Was he referring to Krishna? Did he mean "Har" as in Lord as in a worldy King? I would appreciate some clearance please, thanks!
  8. Don't worry about humble, he doesn't know much, he's a fake G. He teaches third grade for goodness sake!! Guru Ji had one wife, people say he had two because Mata Sahib Kaur ( I think it was Her ) helped prepare the Amrit with him.
  9. Uk London, why creatd such a fuss? I think you seem to want to change things just for the sake of it. If we refer to Bhagat Kabir Ji as Satguru, then where do we draw the line? The Panh Pyaray would be called Satguru, so would Baba Budha Ji, and Bhai Gurdas Ji. What differentiates them from Bhagat KAbir Ji? And then, that way, the line of our Satgurus may be indistinguishable and our first Guru would be referred to as JUST another prophet. If you can't see that bro...
  10. Singhs in Guru Jis time lived off tree bark for a time. Just cause yiu never heard of it before you mock it? Honestly...

  15. http://9gag.com/gag/2980972 A post like the one above has the power to reach many people through the internet. We can post stuff like this on websites, go and vote up the post, and then it will be brought onto the main pages of websites like reddit or 9gag or any other frequently visited forum. We can even establish a set time we can all do this or maybe contact Singhlionz or some one like taht on twitter, get them aboard, and then they can send out a link like the one above to their followers once a week asking them to like it! While you're at it, please thumbs up the above post on 9gag. I can upload it agian if there's a time limit on how long a post can stay up before its unable to get to the main page, but i think 100 likes gets it too the hot page and then 1000+ means the main page, but I'm not entirely sure. Thanks.
  16. Have Guru Ji in the prison only once per week, on the DAY that Satkaar takes place! That should solve it.
  17. Please don't take offense, but it's comments like yours that make me feel Dhundha is succeeding in his evil quest.
  18. WJK WJF Can anyone give examples of saints being tested (ie. experiencing hardship) from God before reaching sainthood? or even as they were saints? I need inspiration. Also, in today's world, illnesses seem plenty. Any stories of saints who may have had ailments such as diabetes, or another chronic illness that they overcame to meet God?
  19. Sorry, but do not agree at all with your thinking at all! Pictures sometimes help the mind comprehend that Guru Ji actually existed in all His Greatness; we're not worshiping the pictures themselves. Also, why would you ever want to throw away something from Guru Ji's time!?!? I'd rather we preserve EVERYTHING WE CAN, especially the blessed things that they themselves touched. People can and should marvel at their sandals. the feet of God touched them. As to what they'd want us to do, I think they'd be indifferent, happy regardless what happens. Mendella, meanwhile, doesn't comapare.
  20. maybe start with one gurdwara in the UK and accomplish the new visinon there, then move on to others as a collective group?
