A British Politician spoke at the Sikh Federation UK Conference today and he clearly said "you Sikhs need to make as much noise as you possibly can" he said "keep on making the noise". He was saying that was the only way things were going to change and get done! This member of parliament knows better than the man on Sangat tv who said that you need to be sophisticated and take the politicians to the secret rooms of gentleman clubs and wine and dine them. If that's sophisticated I rather be honest! Lets keep making noise. Like the honest politician said at the Sikh Federation UK conference, lets all attend on the 25th September 2011!!!

You're right, we need to have compassion for humanity regardless of race, religion, sex creed etc. But how come when we talk about the race of people called Sikhs being killed, the people who follow their own Sikh religion being killed, the women and girls of the female gender who were gang rapped in public, and all this happened to thousands and thosands men, women and children, how come then we are told we are bad for having compassion for humanity? Why is it we have to be silent about that compassion? Especially as the people who rapped, burnt, bombed, shot those people are all walking around FREE! But, on the other hand, the indian jails are filled with Sikhs in jails. What about that imbalance! Do you know how often we feel pain when we realise that so many Sikh Girls and boys, women and men can be murdered rapped without any justice for the murderers and rapist You tell me how to get rid of that pain, and how to forget all those innocent Sikh Children, women and men, and I will talk to you a sweet as you want me too! You tell me how to forget and I will never mention it again! You say we treat the British differently. However, how many of their own citizens have they shot, bombed and raped and burnt in the last 30 years? None what so ever?

However, I think it's unfair to compare the Sikh Nihangs to Hindus who dresses like Sikhs, like the Hindu Niddar dresses like a Sikh. Come on, that's not fair on the Sikh Nihangs. It's probably like the opening poster, Astral says, there were probably some cults set up here and there where some chaps tried to set up their own Hindu/Durga religion but thought would it would be nice to bring the Sikh Uniform into their Hindu religious sect, that's all Niddar has done. Many people dress differently to the religion they believe in, like Niddar. Niddar is a Hindu who choses to dress like a Sikh, it's a free country! If a window cleaner wore a Doctors Uniform, you wouldn't recognise him as a Doctor would you? To be honest I feel a bit sorry for Niddar. I just wish he wouldn't dress like a Sikh while living the life of a Hindu. It's unfair on Sikhs and Hindus! I'm sure it's not just the SIkhs that are hurt by Niddar's disrepect for the Sikh Bana, I think some Hindus must find his approach disturbing too .

If there were ever some Sikhs who were following the Guru's Path, it the Sikhs of SOPW. We have supported you in the past, and will support you in the future. I've watched some of the SOPW representatives on TV and remember thinking 'why can't we all be more like them and just get on with it?" SOPW are an inspiration to us all. May Vaheguru Ji bless all at SOPW, and all the Sangat that supports them! SOPW, you will be in my Ardaas to Guru Ji.

I think it's shows great maturity when someone takes the time to find out in advance. All new comers need to do is, as you say Take your shoes and socks off Wash your hands Cover your head Bow down in front of Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj (you'll see every one doing this so just follow) After that you just sit down, in silence, and simply listen. Even some Sikhs who have been to the Gurdwara hundreds of times can't manage to sit in silence whilst in the Darbar of Guru Maharaaj, so if you managed to sit in silence whilst in the Darbar (main hall where Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is present) then you have already surpassed some of those forgetful Sikhs who keep on talking in Guru Ji's Darbar!

This is a briiliant point. Guru Ji is the Guru for all wanting to connect with God! People with a physical disability have the same mind as people without a physical disability. Anyone with respect for Guru Ji comes to the Gurdwara to be at the Guru's feet and get Guru Ji's blessings and protection. Making sure Guru Ji's Palki, in all Gurdware, is high enough, is a great suggestion!

If you do nitnem daily, and will continue to do it, and don't do any Kuretha, then I can't think of reason why you could not take Amrit. The Panj Piyare will tell you if you are ready. The Forgiveness in Sikhi means it's your present and future that count now! Nice to hear that Sikhi has transformed yet another person into a disciplined human being!

Thanks for the Tip Singh. I know from personal experience that your statement is 100% correct. If Gurdwares were serious about helping Sikhs into Gursikhi, then they would definately sell all 5k's, Dastaar Material, and give Dastaar tying classes!
