I have always been influenced by this shabad ਹਾਥਿ ਖੜਗੁ ਕਰਿ ਧਾਇਆ ਅਤਿ ਅਹੰਕਾਰਿ ॥ हाथि खड़गु करि धाइआ अति अहंकारि ॥ Hāth kẖaṛag kar ḏẖā▫i▫ā aṯ ahaʼnkār. With sword in hand, and with great egotistical pride, Prahlaad's father ran up to him. ਹਰਿ ॥ हरि तेरा कहा तुझु लए उबारि ॥ Har ṯerā kahā ṯujẖ la▫e ubār. Where is your Lord, who will save you? ਖਿਨ ॥ खिन महि भैआन रूपु निकसिआ थम्ह उपाड़ि ॥ Kẖin mėh bẖai▫ān rūp niksi▫ā thamĥ upāṛ. Seriously , people ! Why are we wasting our time in discussing futile things ? Does it matter of sikhi is being practised on other planet ? Why waste precious time on discussing such futile things when infact we have more important things to do ! Let us strive to be true sikhs ourselves and spread sikhi on this planet !

Sometimes it makes me wonder , that Guru Nanak sahib must have seen all this and perhaps thats why he said "Gagan main thaal , rav chand deepak baney , Tarika mandal janak moti " ( Sky is plate , In it are lamps of moon and sun , Galaxies are like pearls ) . They indeed look like pearls and jewels , don't they ? Dhan Guru Nanak !

His bell resounds to the four corners of the world. ਆਸਨੁ ॥ आसनु जा का सदा बैकुंठ ॥ Āsan jā kā saḏā baikunṯẖ. His seat is forever in heaven. ਜਾ ॥ जा का चवरु सभ ऊपरि झूलै ॥ Jā kā cẖavar sabẖ ūpar jẖūlai. His chauri, his fly-brush, waves over all. ਤਾ ॥੨॥ ता का धूपु सदा परफुलै ॥२॥ Ŧā kā ḏẖūp saḏā parfulai. ||2|| His incense is ever-fragrant. ||2|| ਘਟਿ ॥ घटि घटि स्मपटु है रे जा का ॥ Gẖat gẖat sampat hai re jā kā. He is treasured in each and every heart. ਅਭਗ ॥ अभग सभा संगि है साधा ॥ Abẖag sabẖā sang hai sāḏẖā. The Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, is His Eternal Court. ਆਰਤੀ ॥ आरती कीरतनु सदा अनंद ॥ Ārṯī kīrṯan saḏā anand. His Aartee, his lamp-lit worship service, is the Kirtan of His Praises, which brings lasting bliss. ਮਹਿਮਾ ॥੩॥ महिमा सुंदर सदा बेअंत ॥३॥ Mahimā sunḏar saḏā be▫anṯ. ||3|| His Greatness is so beautiful, and ever limitless. ||3|| ਜਿਸਹਿ ॥ जिसहि परापति तिस ही लहना ॥ Jisahi parāpaṯ ṯis hī lahnā. But , I am sure our Guru was not idolater . What is saalgram in this context ? Does it refer to vivek buddhi ?

1. Did Satguru Guru Arjan Dev ji Maharaj sit on a red hot Tavee? or is that made up? Yes , I believe it happened for real . Guru Maharaj said "Tera kiya meetha laage . Jan nanak naam padarath maage" while sitting on hot pan . This is what brings tears in our eyes and something which makes us proud on our Guru . He can endure so much and yet say "O Lord ! Your will seems so sweet to me !" . 2. Did Satguru Guru Teg Bahadar Sahib ji Maharaj and his trusted followers laugh in the face of the Mogal empire by attaining mytrdom? Again , they had that kind of Jeevan . Bhai Mati dass must have kept on reciting JapJi sahib from his mukh while being sawed . I never deny it . Again , see the cause for which they did all this ! ITS SO DIVINE AND GODLY ! Having full faith in God and resisting force on religion . 3. Did Baba Zorawar Singh ji and Baba Fateh Singh ji get bricked up and they also laughed in the faces of Mogal whilst attain the uchee padvee of Shaheed at there tender ages or is this also made? This is irrelevant to what I said in my earlier post . They were sons of Guru Gobind Singh ji . So , its obvious they would not be afraid . Also , they had that Jeevan . But , what you mention as an EYe-witness account has no backing by any historical document and on face value of it , seems to be made up !

I think it will solve so much of our problems we face today on panthic , international level . Our girls won't elope away with muslims or hindus . When our kids grow up , they will know who they are and thus patitpuna will decrease . Looking at muslims , if their kids can memorize entire quran at age of 10 , why don't our 25 year olds don't even remember JapJi Sahib ? What astonishes me is that Why can muslim kids memorize entire quran at age of 10 , but our kids don't even know what 5 banis are ? forget about memorizing them ! Shouldn't we learn something from then : Teaching our kids about our religion with a zeal ! One thing very common in Sikh / Punjabi families is that they provide and care for every necessities of their kids except teaching them about their religion

Even some hadiths of Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) states that wearing red is haraam or not liked by Allah .

Mohammed prophet is also a prime example . He meditated in Hira cave ( in mecca ) in seclusion , where Quran got revealed to him . Buddha is also a prime example . Sikhism is like the "phoenix " bird which can never be killed . It rises from its own ashes . The fact that Sikhism passed such tests which were impossible proves Sikhi is indestructible faith . We Sikhs should also stop thinking Sikhi is in danger . God himself is protector of Sikhi . However , we need to save ourselves.

Do Ardas with sincere devotion in front of Guru Granth Sahib and ask for help . You will be surprised at the outcomes !

Hindu swamis and brahmans are afraid of Sikhism ultimately triumphing over India . Sikhism is much more simple and much more beautiful than Hinduism . Many Hindus also know this but hide from accepting . Brahmans and these swamis are afraid that if Sikhi comes in mainstream India , it will win converts . So , to suppress Sikhi , they call it part of Hinduism .

He claims to bring back all black money of India from swiss banks . Let us not forget he is an ally of RSS and staunch supporter of Arya Samaj , both anti-Sikh organizations . We don't know what's in his heart ! We need not rely on anyone . Why should Hindu-Sikh bhai bhai be any more special than Sikh-Christian , Sikh - Jew or Sikh - Muslim bhai bhai !

India is never going to help us , atleast definitely not on religious issues . But , Khalistan will bring another lineage of untold miseries on poor Sikhs living in India . There are umpteen other ways to help sikh cause .
