what happens if we read bani and what happens if we don't ? I was very enthusiastic in the beginning , but now I have become really skeptical about things ! I always hear people say that we should read bani and all , but no body told me why ! Some people say its ilahi bani ( god's words ) , but now I am having a hard time believing that assertion ! Whenever I look at it logically , I find it no different than ordinary poetry .... Can someone tell me whats wrong ?

NO , Infact I would have said green is color of nature , just like blue is beautiful color of sky and ocean . Some eye doctors say focusing daily on green color helps in eye sight . Green is color of prosperity . Why associate it with Islam ?

I find it funny how the sardar in blue pagg chuckles at the end of the video ! lol Many sikhs in India go to hindu places of worship to ask for help . I doubt whether most of them even know sikhism forbids such practices . If you talk to them , they will conveniently ward you off by calling you a fanatic . People are just looking for an easy way out of their problems !

what does this has to do with sharda ? I am not saying it happened or not . I have not seen it happen , so I am silent on this topic ! << I don't see why anyone would manufacture this "legend" in order to mislead people if that's what the doubters are trying to imply >> But you can see ample proofs that brain ( head ) dies as soon as a person is decapitated because of the drop in blood pressure to brain . Also , person's brain instantly ( in maximum of 10 seconds , if not instantly ! ) goes unconscious when a person is decapitated ... Body twiches as a person gets decapitated . Fighting is scientifically and medically impossible in this scenario !

I have been saying again and again ... Let us make sikhism a missionary religion .... there should be prachar of sikhi in every country and we should strive that it happens in every city of world ! Jehova witnesses go knocking door of strangers - look at their love towards their religion . I am not saying sikhs should knock people's doors to convert them , but we should learn a lesson from the folks we call missionaries !

Just asking , are modesty levels different for men and women in sikhism ? Its ok if a sikh guy tries to wear sleeveless , but for a girl , its not so ok ! why ?

We do worship our human Gurus as Akal purakh himself ... no one can deny that ! Don't we say "Dhan Guru Nanak tuhi nirankar " or "Kala dhar jag main parveryo" .. First things first ! You don't want to be like me ! Get out . QUIT THINKING TOO MUCH AND NO SELF - LOATHING ! Get out and experience the world . Join some lesser of a job , trust me , you will get some experience and on top of that , you will meet people and make new friends those people also started like you . were once like you ! yes , I worked in a calcenter . It was not that great , but I met some really nice people and learnt many new things !

You should not have confusion and doubts when someone does not agree with your views , if your faith is strong !

I just saw that yesterday on a reputed punjabi channel ( I stay in Mumbai , India ) . What is more surprising is that those people who come to speak in front of mike after the sardar is kicked .. not one of them is a sardar ! These nuisance will not stop unless sikhs themselves stop making mockery of themselves or allow their mockery to be made ! Some people like navjot singh siddhu cross the limits and add to the stereotype of sardars as being stupid people ! Unless our own people don't stop , we can't blame others ... Don't forget Khushwant singh who is notorious for throwing sikh jokes .... One of the most ridiculous ones he made :"There is a khalistan ( empty space ) inside every sikhs head "

WOW ! you are saying anand sahib 24th pauri is kachi bani ! this same verse of kachi bani goes in making of amrit ! Now , I have serious doubts on sikhism !
