We do not have many options when it comes to organisation that are doing parchar. We have AKJ and taksals but even they are not doing parchar on the massive scale that is needed. The Sikh missionaries were originally started with this task in mind, but they have also not been able to do parchar on the massive scale as the Singh Sabhiyas did, instead they have now joined the Kala Afghanis. I think what we Sikhs in the west can and should do is to contact Taksals in India and help them set up their branches near our villages in India. Or have the AKJ to do smagams in our village in Punjab and support them financially. I heard there was an organisation a few years ago that was holding Gurmat camps for the the youth from village to village. Such Jathas should be supported. Another option for us is that we should get trained as preachers and then carry the task of doing parchar of Gurmat in India in an organised and systematic manner. But for that we need to prepare ourselves mentally, spiritually by keeping strict rehet, amritvela, naam simran and gaining knowledge of Gurmat/Gurbani. Politics is something we do not need to think about right now at this moment. For political power today you need demographic strength, and on that front we are losing very badly. So we need to do parchar to increase our numbers and strengthen our panth.

Very true. In fact I think this is also the best solution for the promiscuous behavior of our youth especially our girls who date Muslim boys. Just get them married at a younger age and problem solved. It is very natural for boys and girls at that age wanting to get into a relationship as a result they search for and get BF and GF for themselves and put Khay at the heads of their perents. Instead of that, wouldn't it be better to just get a husband and wife for them? It is very unnatural for humans to marry at late 20s and 30s. We need to come back to the basics of our religion and traditions.

Get married. That is the best solution to this problem. In earlier generations people got married earlier as a result this wasn't a big problem, now this is a problem because people put marriage off to their late 20s and even 30s as a result their eyes start wandering towards the direction of women.

If a Gursikh did do this and died in the process, then yes he is a shaheed.

Like I said in another thread, we need mini taksals in the west. That is the only solution for our children to remain within Sikhi. As for language, the very best solution is to make a rule in the house that no one can speak English in the house. I know a family which applied this rule in their house and their children who are born and raised in the west can communicate in such pure Punjabi as if they were raised not in the west but in Punjab. The family also prevented the children form communicating in English with each other as that is what many Sikh kids do in the west. Take the Jewish example, before the creation of Israel the Jews all over Europe would always communicate with each other in Yiddish which is an unofficial Jewish language. Problem with our people is that they almost act as if they are ashamed of speaking Punjabi, especially our women. I have seen cases in which Sikh women come to the west after marriage or as students but within a few months pretend they can hardly speak Punjabi, if they do speak it they will speak it with a heavy English accent which is not only unbeleivable but makes me laugh.

I think we should have the title changed from white Sikhs to 3ho Sikhs. White is a race, not a religion. You can be a white Sikh and not be a 3ho Sikh. 3ho is a lost cause. They have gone away from Gurmat to the point where I don't know if they are Sikhs or Hindus. After Yogi Bhajan, they even started to support homosexuality and pretend that Sikhi is okay with it. Maybe one day some soojvaan Sikhs amongst them might bring them to the Path of the Gurus, but right now they are just going furthur and furthur away with their innovations and deviations.

I agree. Those little punjabi schools are not good enough. We need real Taksals all over the western world from where we can create our own Gianis, Granthis, Kirtanis instead of importig them from India. Opening up Taksals in the west is the only solution from where Sikhs can get systematic religious knowledge. We spend so much hard earned millions of pounds/dollars creating lavish Gurdwaras in the western world, when in fact we need to create Sikh seminaries/taksals in the west. Sikhs who learn from such Taksals can then go and preach the word of the Gurus in English to the kids born and raised here in the west. This is very badly needed. Not just in the west, even in India, we need many Taksals all over Punjab. Today we only have a few Taksals in Punjab itself, that is not good enough. We should have hundreds of such Taksals in Punjab alone if we want Sikhism to grow. Sikh awareness will only grow amongst the masses if knowledgeable Gursikhs are imparting systematic Gurmat knowledge all over Punjab through Sikh centers/Taksals. This can solve so many problems we are currently facing such as lessening the influance of kala Afghanis, Fake Gurudom.

We may have our differences with muslim, but we can appreciate the fact that they make their children into Pakke Muslims from the start. From childhood their children can do Namaaz and also fast. Sadly, we Sikhs have not done the same with our children. Our children can't even do proper Paath even in their late teens. Muslims have the advantage of the Madrassa. Where ever they go they will always open up madrassaas to insure their children get proper religious training. We have no such facilities in the west. We should open small Taksals in the west. We have such a huge population of Sikhs in the English speaking world, yet we have not even been able to create a single Taksal in the west. It is needed more than ever.

Instead of focusing on the dirty politics of Punjab, I think our leaders should just focus in on Parchar. Looking at the sad state of the Panth right now, we cannot afford to focus on politics as it is. More than 95% of our youth is Patit. We need to bring them into Sikhi and further also increase our numbers by doing Parchar to non Sikhs. In Punjab we are a mere 60% of the population and that too mostly Patit. Parchar is what is needed. No politics. Once we are strong enough only then should be divert our attention to politics. Just look at our history. Right before the Singh Sabha movement, our leaders at the time recognised that getting into politics will not be the smart thing to do when the Panth is in demographic decline. So they started the Singh Sabha movement and within 2 decades our numbers increased significantly. By the 1920s Sikhs were strong enough to step into politics by starting the Akali movement.

Being an old Jathabandi/sampradah does not mean one is following 100% pure rehet. If this was the case then Taksal, Nihangs, Hazoor Sahib, Patna Sahib, Nirmale would all be following the exact same rehet. The fact that they don't follow the same rehet is proof that innovations and deviation have crept up in their respective rehets over the centuries. The best way to know that to follow and what not to follow is to just use everything with the touch stone of Gurbani. Anything that contradicts Gurbani should be discarded. For a Sikh his personal Rehet and spiritual jeevan go hand in hand. A Sikh should follow rehet (keep 5 Kakkars, avoid 4 krahits etc) but at the same time keep strict amritvela and meditate on Naam Simran. Naam Simran and Bani is a must in a Sikh's jeevan. That is what will make us strong from the inside. That is what will give us courage to fight savaa lakh fauj. A Sikh should study Gurbani no matter what. At least an Amritdhari Sikh should be able to do complete Viakhya of japji Sahib since all of Sikh philosophy is contained in Japji Sahib. From Japji Sahib the other Nitnem Banis should next be studied. It is a step by step process every Sikh should do. With individual Sikhs getting into ChardiKala, the whole of Panth will be uplifted.

The thing is, we have nothing but worry for our Panth. At least with other religions they have some postive news which makes the faithful happy. But the situation for the Sikhs is extremely depressing. -The rise of the Kala Afghani heretic movement. They have managed to impress most so called Khalistanis to join their camp. The missionaries have whole heartedly joined the Kala afghani movement. -Today's Sikh has absolutely no respect for the authority of the Akaal Takht. When the Akal Takht says one thing, Sikhs today do their own marzee instead of listening to the Akaal takht. We can see this recentely with how most Sikhs are disregarding the directive of the Akal takht to no avoid the Akhauti Parcharak Dhundha. -As for Akal Takht's Jathadar, sorry to say he is little more than a puppet of Badal. As a result the authority of the Akal Takht gets damaged. People say, "why should we listen to the Akal takht, it's Jathadar is a chamcha of Badal". -The once great Sikh party Shiromani Akali Dal is the personal property of Badal. During the Gurdwara reform movement, hundreds of Sikhs attained shaheedi and formed this party, now this party is working against Sikh interests. -The Sant Samaj is now openingly supporting Badal and even formed an alliance with them. This is very depressing for the general Sikh population. Kala Afghanis, missionaries who used to openly say all sorts of bad things about Sants are now saying "See! we told you so". -We still have no been able to get justice for 1984 and the blood bath Sikhs indured after 84. -Almost the whole Panth has become Patit. Today in Punjab all males under 35 are mostly Patit. -Our so called Sikh girls(even in India) only want to marry Patits/monay. They don't want to marry Saabat Soorat Gursikh males. As a result many young men are becoming Patit. -Our gender imbalance is also something which puts us to shame. -We are losing our members to Radhasoamis and other fake Gurudoms at an alarming rate. Do we have anything positive going on in the Panth? I don't think so. Our situation is very very very depressing and sad. Only Guru jee can help us.

After seeing his video and some of his video responses he wrote, it seems he is not trying to learn about Sikhism but rather trying to debate with Sikhs and proving Sikh wrong and showing his Christian beleifs right. We have not expored the Christian faith as much as we have expored the Hindu and Muslim faith, because we have more interation and dealing with these two communties. We have ignored the Christians for too long. More Sikhs have converted to Christianity than to Hinduism and Islam combined. I have seen villages in Gurdaspur and Amritsar area which are full of Christians. They are actively trying to convert Sikhs. In the west they have also been successful converting Sikhs. Why are we ignoring these people? I don't want to write anything bad about anyone's religion, but to be honest the Christian faith is full of holes. Sikhism is such a faith that you cannot find even one thing wrong with it even if you try.

This video also shows the disgraceful people that are the hosts who invited Giani Iqbal Singh. In our tradition, a guest(mehmaan) is treated with the utmost respect. His honour and safety is to be guarded by the host no matter what. Instead this host "soch" invites him only to be insulted and humiliated. What a disgraceful man he must have been to let that happen in his own house to his guest. Iqbal Singh gave the correct meaning of what Sharda means, yet they continued with their Bakwaas. Secondly if you come for a debate is it not only the fair thing to do to inform your oponent so he can also prepare for the debate? it's like coming for a battle fully armed and not letting your opponent know and attacking him while he is unarmed. This is not the Sikh tradition. This is what I would expect a non-Sikh to do. If Jeowala is eager for a debate why doesn't he challenge those Singhs who beat him recently on TV in a debate? Atleast when Ghagha was humbled by Kulbir Singh Jee, Ghagha did not go around challanging people afterwards like he did before. But Jeonwala is an extremely shameless creature.

Yes Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee is our only Guru. But we have other Sikh canonical scriptures as well such as the writings of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee, Bhai Gurdas Jee, Bhai Nand Lal Jee. No one can take that away from us and neither are we going to leave them alone.

In this video Dusht Jeonwala is confronting Iqbal Singh, Jathadar of Sri Patna Sahib. Does anyone know where and when this took place? Although I'm not a fan of Iqbal Singh myself, but it is worth noting how uncultured and uncivilized these Kala Afghanis get. They always come armed with a video camera to record their 'confrontation'. Then they shamelessly post it on youtube making the Sikhs looks like a complete joke infront of the rest of the world. These fools are the same people who recorded the fight which happened at the Gurughar between the Kala Afghanis and Taksali Singh over Ghagha's remarks about Baba Thakur Singh jee. They posted it on youtube. To this day Hindus and Muslims look at that fight and make fun of Sikhs. This is a tactic Kala Afghanis employ all the time. They confront the intended victim with the intention of embarrassing them and possibly trying to get into a fight with them, then they record it and post it on youtube. Such cheap tactics, not a very Sikh thing to do. Sikhs have always had internal problems in our house. But before we always kept it within the house, not making it into an open Tamasha for the whole world to see like how these BeSharm Kala Afghanis are doing.

What kind of Khalistanis are they? These Khalistanis uncles in the west are a disgrace. They have betrayed the cause of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwalay and the thousands of Shaheeds.

Nothing fun about it. Doing simran or meditation on Naam is something you have to do by defeating your mann. Your mann will try all sorts of tricks to make you not meditate like thinking about worldly matters, distracting your attention, making you feel bored. But you need to "convince" your mind that it's not going to work on you anymore and you will meditate on Naam no matter what. If you do simran daily, your mind will itself get used to it. Don't try to make it fun, just do it.

Great news. More veers and bhains should maybe print some papers with this news on it and distribute it at Gurdwaras amongst the Sangat. Some how sangat should be made aware of Dhunda and his anti Sikh stance. Now let us see what Missionary collage stance is on this. When Ghagha was excommunicated the missionary collage was smart to play the diplomatic role and distance itself from Ghagha. Will they do the same with Dhunda, let us see.

So that gets one wondering how can a 8th grade pass man write volumes of books? Anyone who has met Kala Afghana or heard him speak knows he is not an educated man then how in this world did he manage to write so many books which most educated people will not be able to do in their entire lifetime? Dilgeer another dodgy character also should be exposed. This man originally wrote the most Panthic of books totally in accordance to Gurmat Soch. He himself used to write how Ragi Darshan Lal was a GOI agent and he used to attend and participate against Kala Afghana conferences. Now all of a sudden he makes a complete U-turn and supports the very people he originally accused of being GOI agents! Then we have these so called Khalistani politicians in the west who are die hard supporters of Dilgeer, kala Afghana, Ghagha and Dhunda. I don't want to name names but many years ago one of these fat Khalistani politicians even used to publish articles of Gurbaksh Kala Afghana in his widely read news paper until he was excommunicated. In reality these people are no Khalistanis. They are kala Afghanis who are working and supporting their masters in Delhi.

Khalistani uncles in the west are real traitors to Sant Jarnail Singh Jee's ideology. From the outside they look like Singhs, but from the inside they are Manmukhs. Any of these Khalistani uncles promoting and supporting heretic Kala Afghanis is a traitor to the movement. It is best to not associate with these Khalistani uncles because they can always report you to their masters in the Indian consulate. The Sikh Panth has some really good people but it is equally true that we have even more turncoat Dhian Singh Dogras amongst us ready to betray us. These Kala Afghanis are the Dhian Singh Dogras of today. Never ever trust them. A real Khalistani is one who supports the ideology of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwalay and the thousands of Shaheeds of the movement. Do not trust these fat Khalistani politicians in the west who are all supportive of Kala Afghana. If you tell them the truth of Kala Afghana like the fact that he was a life long communist, worked in the Punjab police, sexually molested a women and very suspiciously wrote volumes of books when he himself is uneducated they will ignore these facts and continue to support him. This shows that they have sold themselves out.

Unlike Ghagha and Darshan Lal, this Dhunda has not been exposed for the heretic he is. People still think he is a great Panthic parcharak. He needs to be exposed. Plus, most Khalistani uncles in the west have now become Kala Afghanis anyway so it is not even a matter of being a Khalistani or non Khalistani anymore. It is not a matter of being a Kala afghani or a non Kala Afghani. And in these two categories you will find Sikhs who are both Khalistanis and non Khalistanis. That is the game the GOI wanted to play. They wanted to divide Khalistanis and they did this through the Kala Afghani movement.
