Also protedts arent a good idea. We were doing one in san francisco n the protest temporarily blocked a road as we were walking. N some guy gets out of his car n starts telling. We dont care. Its always too coloful, too much food n music at the 84 protests at least, n no one explaining wat the protest is about. Also u cant say palestinians are violent and it works for them. Only at that time a massive protest or unlawful behavior is acceptable, when something dreadful has happened. Not for prevention but for retaliation. For example there was a woman reporter in Ireland who wrote about drugdealers. Nobody listened to her, she was even roughed up by them and was on news. But some ppl thought she was making stuff up to get publicity. Then she was gunned down by drugdealers. Then ppl rose up against drugdealers n there were peaceful marches, but ppl also kicked out drugdealers from their neighborhoods, and there was lobbying and laws were passed. Why would the british try to favour Sikhs? They either did it to appease us so we would not revolt against their raj. Which is a not so bad reason, as they are trying to be nice to their subjects. But it has a ulterior evil motive to keep us complacent so we would not want to fight for our raj. Also the british took our raj with the most reprehensible treachery and trickery. I would almost prefer the mughal invaders outright raiding than british trickery, however mughal invasions caused more pain to the subjects/innocent people. But you have to admit the Khalsa spirit was much stronger and Sikh ideals much purer during the Mughal invasions than during British raj even though they encouraged sikhs to practice sikhi( like making it mandatory to be an amritdhari fauji). Wow! That is exactly what my dad thinks. He hates simranjeet singh maan cuz after singhs went to the trouble and got him elected. He stepped down using kirpan issue to step down. Sikhs can only guide whole of humanity and get their homeland if they work for it. There is no chosen people, no one God treats more special than another. There are rules to this universe that apply to all. So like everyone else Sikhs must work for any success. That means firstly being Sikhs following sikhi no matter how hard and secondly we have to work to get our homeland such as using politics etc. We can be monotheistic and worship the gurus the same way Christians can believe in Jesus and God,the same way the Catholics can believe in holy triniy and God same way islam can believe in Satan n God. I dont have a problem with him. Its just parchar sounds so Christiany. I really liked it. Usually i hate watching the street parchar videos. They made me cringe. N were boring with same repeated info in an excited way when audience usually dont care. Today my Muslim friend had to skip college because there is going to be a protest against muslims an the provost of the college advised muslims not to come and told professors to excuse muslim students. It would be neither cuz ur genes make u up. N ur genes/dna is probably determined by karma. So if different genes then different karma n so different person physically n mentally n spirit/soul wise. Not true. Bibi Sukhmani Kaur, the wife of bhai jugraj singh, was an amritdhari Sikh when she married.
