giddah and bhangra? I dont know where you learned gatka a bollywood filmfestival? but I found it amazing. I guess it depends on the teacher.
We used to do stretching exercises (running/pressups/situps/squats, etc to build core strength and agility) for a hour then 10mins simran, then learning new gatka/self defence techniques, then sparring 30mins+warm down and simran.
Combine that with Muay Thai once a week and bob's your uncle.
There was always the token skrawny niddar's brain washed singh spouting stuff against our training, but we often asked him to train with us, or even fight in a challenge/spar, never did, instead prefering to spout nindiya and worship Hindu stuff rather than Sikhi. But fair enough, good luck to him, (didn't see him defending any Gurudwara during the riots)
