  1. Well has saas graas simran going on within them constantly it does not stop due to shoes being on, hair being uncovered, going to the loo. So why should that stop one when they have not got to this padvi!
  2. Thanks Singh i have that link but where is all the Katha? Giani Jaswant SIngh Ji did some immense Katha. Giani Hardeep Singh Ji and Giani Balbir Singh Ji were also special but it is no where to be found.
  3. Thankfully Singh it is in Leicester this year so will record it all and put it up. i just think it is such a shame that the singhs who recorded last years barsi are inconsiderate to share the recordings and worse still when there are poeple willing to put them on the net they will not hand ovar any copies as they state it is personal to them only! Sad times for the sangat!
  4. Before we get to this years samagam where can i find the audio and video of last years samagam. loads of people recorded but i guess it was for themselves and not the rest of the sangat! Can the recordings be put on the net before 2010 please!
  5. Actually coming back to the original question does any informative member of the forum able to tell us where Giani Thakur SIngh Ji are at this present moment of time?
  6. there are 2 Baramahas by Sri GUru Gobind Singh Ji, Brahm Kavach is a bani supposedly recited by Guru Hargobind Ji, Rakhia de Shabad are sometimes part of Kirtan Sohila, Bhagouti Astotar is from old Buddha Dal Gutkas by Guru Gobind Singh Ji
  7. That isn't Sant Waryam Singh Ji as they still had a very dark beard when this photo was taken and were actually a headmaster at a school. they di not come into the marg of the sadhus til later. That is Sant Fateh Singh Ji of the Chief Khalsa
  8. Very old story. Bhai Gurmukh Singh Patvaree passed away a few years ago. This Katha has been narrated by Sant Waryam SIngh Ji, Sant Avtar SIngh Ji Badni Kalan Walae and Sant Hari Singh Ji Randhawae Walae. I am surprised people have only heard this now when it was available in 2004!
  9. www.gurmatveechar.com you should be able to find it in the katha of Sant Gurbachan SIngh Ji Bhindrawalae. also www.gurbaniupdesh.com in the katha of Giani Avtar SIngh Ji Badni Kalan Walae and Giani Thakur SIngh Ji More interestng are the two Baramaha by Sri GUru Gobind SIngh Ji in the Sri Krishan Avtar. A steek on the four Baramaha will be completed next year by Sant Hari Singh Ji
  10. Leicester, Panth Prakash Gurdwara from what i have heard!
  11. This is Sant Giani Mohan Singh Ji Bhindrawalae - i will put some more of their videos up when i get the chance
  12. Please listen to the Karam Katha by Baba Hari SIngh Ji on www.gurmatveechar.com it is 14 hours long, it is difficult to understand as it goes into depth with vedant but it will explain all
  13. that was quick, my feet are still aching and the photos are already up. It was a good day yesterday for the Nagar Keertan
  14. If you want to see the extra bani from the Dasam Granth then i suggest that you should go to the takhats and british library to see these
  15. Unfortunately i do not have the knowledge to state what should and should not be kept in the Sri Dasam Granth. i do think that Uggardanti is an ntersting scripture along with the Gobind Gita which i have.... My scanner is not owrking so am slowly typing up the Pooranmashi and Mukat Marag for you. Its going to take some time though
  16. Bhaguti Astotar, and Uggardanti can be found in some birs of the Dasam Granth held at the takhats. Others are Sukhmana Sahib. There are many different works of Sri GUru Gobind Singh Ji in the puratan birs of the Dasam Granth. The Version we see today is based on the Sri Dasam Granth from Patna sahib which was agreed around 100 years ago. so the others writings are still believed to be of Dri Guru Gobind Singh Ji but do not make up the body of the Dasam GRanth
  17. i am recording it, will upload it afte the four weeks of katha
  18. a nice photo or painting can be found on the upcoming site www.nihang.org
  19. Khalsa force i have read your post again and only now understood what you have written. i apologise for calling you ignorant when i should have reread your post before writing anything. Bijla Singh in the Vedas the Karm Kaand is aroun 97000 surtis and there is also 300 surtis of Giaan Kaand. These are used in order to understand the terms of vedant such as Chidabhaas, Ishvar, Man, etc There was a conversation i recorded between Sant Hari Singh Ji and Swami Parmanand Ji wehre they discuss Vedant and how one will not be able to understand the Antreev concepts of Gurbani. There is a shabad about 2 birds written by Guru Amar Das Ji in bani about one bird flying while the other watching. If you read the basic meaning on sikhitothemax or searchgurbani it makes no spiritual sense about these birds. However vedant metaphorics and it works about the Jeev and Chidabhaas. The shabad can actually be found in one of the Upanishads created way before The Sri Guru Granth Shaib Ji. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the universal knowledge. An example of where Vedant and other scriptures are used in the meanings of Katha is by Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji in the Jap Ji Sahib. the 15th pauri they state 9 different meanings including that of vedant and yog. Guru Granth Sahib Ji have to be seen as the greatest of all the educational masters. One cannot understand the degree untill they have done, pree scholl, infants, secondary, college, university, work experiance, exams, etc All other religious texts are the foundations such as the granths and katebs being the initial schooling stages before stepping up to understand the knowledge required in the degree. Just look at what scriptures Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji were taught before the Guru Granth Sahib Ji. They learned all vedant, yog, sanskrit before the books on Sikhi. Last was the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. In the Bhindra taksal this vidiya still exists as per the teachings of Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji.
  20. Guru Nanak DEv Ji said if you are a Hindu be a true Hindu, if you are a Muslim be a true muslim. If both Faiths were completely false then Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji would have said so at this point. Neither of the faiths or their religious scriptures are false. Both have been given to humanity through Gods messengers. Those idealists and bullshitters like todays Kala Afgana are sad individuals who wish to tribalise our history and distence themselves from Bhagats who had gained the enlightenment of God. Look at the message convayed by Guru Gobind Singh Ji thorugh their Dasam Granth, Bhai Gurdas Ji through the Kabit Sawaiyai, Bhai Sewa Ram with the Paras Bhag and Musnavi Bhakha. They delved into the religious texts of other faiths for a mutual understanding about God. The Kabitts are based on the Upanishads, the Dasam Granth on the Bhagvat Mahapuran, the Paras Bhag on Gazzliats Kiyamat and the workd of Moulana Rumi. Those who are ignorant and scared to learn will say other texts are false. Kala Afgana going further and makeing everything other then the Sri GUru Granth Sahib Ji false including Sikh history, other texts and the workd of Sadhu Sants. The fact is from the Sampardas started by the Guru's all learn from other religious texts in order to convey the message of Gurbani to Sikhs and non Sikhs. Due to the lack of knowledge these days the number of Sikhs is dwindeling, Due to your Kala Afgana's you are getting more people leaving Sikhi through misunderstanding. Bani does reject the Vedas as a monopoly used by the Brahmins. You must understand reading the Saloks of Bhagat Kabir Ji in one salok he tells a kazi to say the name of God quietly and another individual he tells to shout the name of God. It this duality? No! One should understand the Uthanika of the shabads and due to many kathakaar these days not explaining the Uthanikas people do not really understand the meaning of the shabads, do not get told who the updesh is being given to and where and lastly when the spiritual meanings of the Shabads are. Khalsaforce i have not seen such ignorance for Bhagat Farid Ji before. This individual became one with the Lord through his love of the divine, it does not matter in which wasy he did it but he was a divine recluse. Sikhism is a universal faith with the main point centered on the union of the soul and the Lord. Bhagat Farid Ji did this and due to this have their works in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji All the Bhagats were either Hindu or Sikh. If their faiths were false and their scriptures were false then how could they achieve their spiritual status. All i can say is forget the ideologies of Kala Afgana and embrace the Sampardaic approach for embrace and love for those who wish to love the Lord rather then live in fear and ignorance leading them to hatred and hypocrasy.
  21. The only recording you will find on the Chaubis Avtar Katha on gurmat veechar are the following Katha by Sant Jarnail Singh Ji on Sri Ram Avtar Katha (Katha on Dasam Granth) Katha by Sri Maan Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji on Sri Krishan Avtar Katha by Sant Hari Singh Ji on Nehklank Avtar Kahta Katha by Giani Pooran Singh Ji on Kalki Avtar Katha Katha by Baba Avtar Singh Ji Badni Kalan Walae on Kalki Avtar. These are the only kathas available on the Chaubis avtar at the moment. Due to the masses of Sikhs today who regard anything to do with praise or talk of a diety the Katha is not done anymore for the sangat only between gurdev's and Shish There is also no complete recording of the Sri Sooraj Prakash or the Panth prakash's available. Teh Sri Nanak Parkash can be found on gurmatveechar by Sant Giani Kirpal Singh Ji Boparai Walae. Unfortunately the destruction caused in 1984 at Sri Harmandir Sahib led to the loss of a vast amount of recorded Katha. The complete Sooraj Prakash Katha, Naveen and Pracheen Panth Praksh Katha along with Katha of Bhai Nand Lal Ji's writing s which was done by Sri Maan Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji was either lost by the Singhs or destroyed by the army. Giani Thakur SIngh Ji did start the Katha of Sri Nanak Prakash but seems to have finished it prematurely after 4 mp3 cds. Giani Thakur Singh Ji have not done any of the Avtar Katha at all. Will await to see what the Guru graces Giani Thakur SIngh Ji with the seva of next! The Katha of the whole of the Sri Dasam Granth has also now been completed at Hazoor Sahib which is about 150 - 200 tapes (around 150 - 300 hours) and am waiting for them to be sent to me before i start cleaning and trying to upload that. There is hopefully going to be an update on gurmatveechar soon as there is loads of katha from the summer waiting to go up
  22. any schedule yet for the rest of the UK
