I hv a question.
Alcohol/tobacco is so bad but still very easily available in all countries.
Hemp/cannabis is a gift of God and can even cure cancer. Hemp seeds are complete food and hemp can be used for construction and making clothes but still there are restrictions on cannabis.

2. Nanaksar bhagti da ghar
Do damdami taksal Singhs play video games in their dera? They also do bhagti.
Nihangs also do bhagti as well as shastar vidya training.
Good AKJ Singhs like Malliyan vale Singhs also do great and very strong bhagti.
Why just use this line that nanaksar is bhagti da ghar ??

1. They say nand Singh ji is the greatest sikh.
No doubt he was an excellent sikh but why make him the greatest ?
Did he do 25 hours of bhagti in a day of 24 hours?
In sikhi, there hv been thousands of Singhs, bibian and even bache who did 24/7 bhagti and even sacrificed themselves for sikhi. Aren't these great souls equal to nand Singh ji or even greater than him?

I agree but there is a point that some modern medicines have helped but then people realized they could profit from it so it has been pushed onto the public negatively. Its like how things start for the good but then people out of greed want to use them for their own profits and stuff. Like today they are making people extremely dependent on the medications for every small thing just to make profit. Things start for good but then the greedy bad people take over.

Can we use 70-80% natural/traditional medicine and 20-30% allopathy/modern medicine ?

Nowhere near as much as today. In 1947 there were 350 million Indians, 75 years later there are almost 1.4 billion. So over a billion have been added in just 75 years. It will overtake China in a few years as the most populated country in the world.
Population is the root of most problems.

I think both, I think it's the energy or attitude that makes the book fun or not.
Yep but in our present curriculum, we hv so much boring and not needed and too much stuff in our books. It's tough to make such books fun for children.

I was pretty intelligent during my school days but I don't really remember much that I read.
On the other hand i can almost describe each scene of movie predator of arnold Schwarzenegger.

We r just over burdening our children.
When we read a book, we forget it pretty quickly.
But when we watch an interesting movie or documentary, we remember it for years and even decades.
Shudnt children be taught with lesser books and more visuals/text?

I can bet my bottom dollar that if you ever got a serious life threatening disease you would try conventional medicine and not Ayurveda.

The thing is that more research needs to be done into natural medicines. For example in ayurveda turmeric is considered to have anti-inflammaion properties which has been found to be true and the further research found out specific components in turmeric that helps with that. So you see there needs to be in depth research done into traditional medicines as to what particular components of some herb helps with what. Modern medicine has so much research backing them up.
