I agree our people do not value our own Guru. We are more upset by jasbir getting beats. mabye he deserved them maybe he didnt. Your Guru should not be disrespected, but yet they were. How many of you passionately care about that? We all need to get our priorites right. It is a real shame we care more of some two bit presenter.

what people? can we have names? they have been addressed in the past too. they persist and come back. sometimes they are protected by others even thought they know they are wrong. u also seem to be accepting there is a probloem. but at other times act like it is a great camp.

I'm saying that I can not recall any time where it has been said that taking amrit is not required. He said that he was told this by some singh at the camp. Once again please don't slate the camp...actually visit the camp and see for yourself what the camp is all about. i think it is quite clear what it is about....some people have been allowed to get away with things for to long now....maybe if they were stopped earlier it wouldn't come to this....time for change.

The next generation is going to think we are hypocrites and turn away from Sikhi. I know a bibi who thought getting drunk and beating up your wife is part of sikh culture. Her dad did this throughout her childhood to her mum. He was a Singh and used to take her to the Gurdwara every month and force her to cook and clean. He would waste all thier money on alcohol. They would go to family functions and he would get drunk and make a scene and they would have to drag him home. Are we not encouraging this by opening halls for this to take place?

Speaking to a Singh from leicester and he was telling me that Ramgaria has the biggest hall in leicester!!! Bigger than any privately owned hall. If that is not a Gurdwara set up to make money then what is it?

Its important that the protest remains peaceful. We will be representing the Khalsa Panth. I got cousins in Watford and am trying to find out more.

There are also many planning on having halls. Anyone know of any. Spoke to a Singhni today who told me Singh Sabha Woolwich and Ramgaria East London are planning.

The SIKHS (PANTH) decided that the ek niwaas people are not allowed to open a Gurdwara. I saw this sewa and decided to do it. I want to serve the SIKHS. So if they decide no Gurdwara then I will do my best to help. Could someone please put the address up.

Singh Ji lets not get into a debate. This thread is to encourage the PANTH to be active. If the PANTH unanimously says 'NO' then Akaal Takht cannot allow it. So please get working. If the say yes we have to accept it, but the PANTH did not agree in the meeting that was held last Sunday. Lets hope we are not just all talk.

ek niwaas and crew are going to try open a Gurdwara, they will be asking for permission from Akaal Takht Sahib. We need to write to Akaal Takht Sahib and explain the beadbi carried out by ek niwaas and all the jokers associated with it. They need to be told that the PANTH will not allow these jokers to open another Gurdwara. Can someone provide all contact details for Akaal Takht Sahib. Address, Telephone number and Fax number. I will try do a template letter and put it on here. We all need to keep working on these real issues. Rather than get into stupid debates. I had to start a new thread because some people decided to go off on a tangent. Lets not think our Sewa has finished.

Lets make it our responsibility to put this up in every Gurdwara. Dont wait for anyone else to do it because they wont. Its a warning to all committees that they should stop partaking in beadbi. At least they then cant say they were not told.
