just to add to what ms514 said, the birthdays of our gurus are celebrated, plus the way christmas is nowaday, i don't jesus would be to pleased. its all materialized, sure a dollar here and there for a poor person, but in general its only for the rich to make them self feel good. and it doesn't make sense to me to celebrate a prophets birthday by giving items to family and friends.

very true but world vision tends to spread christian influence, so thats why i am looking for a better way. in the end if i don't find a better way i will do it through world vision. (doesn't the UN have any kind of program like this)

i m against the death penalty, life in prison would have maybe made him realize his mistake, and he could have had years and years to connect with god. instead of facing god right after.

lately i been thinking about sponsoring a child in africa or so. world vision was my first chioce, but then i found out it was a christian organization, so now i m not sure wheather my money will be supporting they're churchs or the christian cause. so i was wondering if anyone knew of any other major charities, that can be trusted. thanks

yep, we can't have khalstain without unity, and i realisticly believe we can't have it without a violent uprising

all these bad muslims of the past actually weren't good examples of muslims, the sin like crazy, most muslims of today will tell you that they were wrong in what they did. thats like some one looking at a clean shaved individual robbing a bank as an example of a sikh. islam should be hated by sikhs, if some one like mohummand attacked us.

i don't know, i personally go to the gurdwara for different reasons
