  1. since we are talking about ending the evils of kalyug ...how will the evildoers be punished by akal purakh ki fauj ? in the many interpretations of kalki story there is mention of a disease that kills many sounds like a haemmorhgaic fever type thing. But will Khalsa kill the murderers, rapists, paedophiles, and other adharmi dushts or be like akal purakh and neutral/dayavaan and leave it to Akal Purakh?
  2. The Truth has been delivered by Akal Purakh into this world itself, to reign supreme throughout time in the body of the Guru Granth: Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and Guru Panth: Khalsa, Akal Purakh ki fauj. When those two things have truly established then what force /evil can not be subdued? I think Bhai Sahib, Bhai Jeevan Singh ji and other Gurpiare have said it , we have to build the true khalsa from the inside in every country, on every soil, in every language, now that is all it would take to establish dharam again. Maharaja Ranjit Singh's raj was not true Khalsa Raj as the panth did not hold sway over proceedings and decisions were made by a falliable individual not Sarbat Khalsa as had been. I long for the day of Khalsa Raj and seeing Sikhs everywhere
  3. The thing is about this purana , it does not mention Guru ji, or our dharm whereas Veda did , so makes me feel that it is suspect , I mean given prior knowledge of Guru ji from Vedas (which say he is the avtar and bring waheguru mantr) they surely would have followed in that vein since it was the truth. The christians believe in second coming of Jesus and the Lord's army (spirit) and he does sodhna of the MIddle east and peoples of the book who did not believe in Akal Purakh, my personal feeling is this has been copied across to islam changing the intentions as much has been written about destruction of false prophets .
  4. but surely Guru Nanak Dev ji must be the avtar since he brought the mahamantar and jugti to beat kalyug I d not mean that he is avtar of devta but app parmeshar to give us the true and final path above all other attempts to teach us humans, If rather when Khalsa Raaj comes to pass then what work would Kalki have left to do ?
  5. sorry veer ji got sidetracked http://www.exoticindia.com/hindu/hl98.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6a/Kalki_Avatar.jpg
  6. Was reading purana earlier just seemed to suggest his birth will comes in the depths of kalyug much worse than it is now and there is no talk of Sikhi at all, just that the hindus and semitics all have left their granths and dharams and are embroiled in evil; just as we are experiencing now, loads of pseudo religions formed lasting for short bursts of time no real hope or true people. If that is so, where do we fit in ? has Khalsa raj been and gone by then as khalsa raj is worldwide for 14,000 years according to karninama? puzzled
  7. 'insurgency' wow you learnt all the catchwords of the politicians ...well done for not swallowing what they put in front of you
  8. what's has that got to do with looking and understanding what rights have been assigned to you under the legal system and when and how it can be stolen away . I went last year for a couple of weeks for post-degree training in homeopathic medicine,in Himchal Pradesh han ji, manoo Punjabi samaj aundi hai, te main dubara career lai degree medicine da kitta se, is karke main lokkan de sewa karan chaundi si, sirf sookian gallan nahin karnian si...
  9. go back to sleep , it's obvious you don't want to see the Indian constitution's true wording and meaning for its citizens
  10. May seem like a silly question but bear with me , does this mean the Sikhs are contesting parlimentary seats or just laying out what they expect the major political parties to do in the next five years?
  11. yep I don't think he was thinking of kaum or dharam just his own drug money ...pitiful state of mind
  12. It sounds a bit like the old joke about the most anti-smoking person in a room is the recent quitter , they become supervigilent and superintolerant kind of 'if I can quit why can't you'. For me, I had amrit when a kid so I always felt junior to everyone and that helped a lot to keep me from spouting off , mind you the temptations are there still...I was superlucky to have good sangat of chardikala Gursikhs who were friends with Mum and Dad, and I learned so much about how Gursikh should be full of love for everyone, nobody's perfect we are all learning. Of course you keep your rehit, avoid jhoot etc but do it discreetly , no big hoo ha or show , kind of in the style 'tum ko tumra khoob hum ko humra khoob'
  13. fox news does it again ! seriously there is a tension between the SIkhs and Muslims and it has been there for ages, I remember people talking about it since 80s , I don't think there is a total lock-down like there are in Paris simply because the UK is more mixed in neighbourhoods and less ghetto-like like the Paris model.
  14. Jsinghz what are you thinking , where Guru ji has delineated khalsa Rehit and a gurmukh's behaviour where did you see how to behave like a total nutter and be nasty??
  15. Have you looked at the 'writing gurmukhi' series on bascis of Sikhi
  16. veer ji why so rude about desi singhs ? puzzled I agree ritualism is a trap and vicharna is the way to avoid it . Anyway Guru ji told us to call Fateh to any SIkh that crosses our path whether they give the jawab or not. yes people need to know more ...
  17. i did not say their dhian wasn't in the bani /naam just their interpretation of the feedback may be that it is because of the body positions more than the bani I have even been told that I was not doing bani right by someone of their ilk . I just put the comment in my back pocket as what they had been doing in the physical I had naturally did in my dhian on that bani from a kid . We are lesser and we try to limit Guru ji to try to process His greatness in our feeble minds , when I feel myself going that way i try hard to stop dead in my tracks . Guru ji was the truth/reality, just is now, and always will be Guru mera sada sada
  18. my own philosophy is it takes all sorts to make the planet , we are stumbling in the half-light to reach Guru ji's Dwar we have crawled, slithered, run, scrabbled through all those millions of years of joona just to get to this beautiful hope-filled moment , A rdas is we all know His light and love .For me the sadness is that these people are being conned in some respect that the kriyas are worth anything , truth is it is the bani that does the job .
  19. you just have to look at their eyes and face to know ...these are pathological liars with no scruples or fear of Waheguru ji
  20. veera I would worry more about dharmic dishonesty ...but it shows which depths of deception that mu-rakh is willing to do to keep the money and sangat's ears
  21. veer ji , I have heard from other mahapurakhs katha/bachan that this is one of the stages of simran anyhow ...not exactly what 3HO do I mean saas saas simran is differently from hands in mudras and arms outstretched to ceiling or crossed midair while singing gurbani
