  1. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, thank you veer namstang in proving someone can actually write 108 silly posts. It took some time but you have managed it. Before answering your another unbelieavable post. I will just answer veer prabjyot singh quick question. What do AKJ reckon on Teja singh Bhausaria? He will removed from the Panth for rejecting Bhagat bani. AKJ is a Panthik body, and as such they did not associate with him after. I never knew who Teja singh was until I come across anti-AKJ parchaar. It is a excuse people use to have a dig at AKJ when they nothing else to say. The only time Bhai sahib mentions him, is when whe writes to him to tell him to go pesh in front of the Akal thakht. If he went pesh and was forgiven, then good for him. He had no influence on Bhai sahib at all. This is clear because in all of bhai sahibs books, all he mentions and references to is Gurbani. He never mentions any other name as a source or influence. He was a strong character who was solely influenced by Gurbani. Everybody knows that. It has been pointed out so many times. Why mention Teja singh, why not baba Attar singh, or Baba Vaskaha singh or Akali kaur singh or Bhai Trilochan singh or Bhai Vir Singh? They were all contempories of Bhai sahib aswell. They do get mention because there is no mileage for these people in mentioning them. Bhai sahib had only one influence and that was Gurbani. That is why his books are so good, because they are purely based on Gurbani. AKJ has no influence of Bhai teja singh either. It follows Rehit as per its definition of Gurmat, and sings gurbani, and hence too is solely influenced by Gurbani. But this topic has nothing to do with AKJ. AKJ supports keski/dastaar. It does not hide, and is proud of that. They are not the people with problems. They problems seems to be with those who are threatened by a keski. Many youth who are non AKJ have also accepted the importance ogf keski/dastaar aswell. Now getting to Veer namstang ji. Veer ji, you call others taliban, fantical, etc. But veer you are the most fanatical of all. You are so fanatically against Keski/dastaar that you openly spread what is misinformation about to spread your hatred. You know the whole teja singh thing is meaning less, but continue to spew it out. You talk of love for all. But veer it is you hates your own sikhs. So many times you have talked so much rubbish about them. At first I always gave you the benfit of the doubt, but you keep time and time again coming out with the same rubbish, and worse still, you do it knowing it is rubbish. If your sister does not wish to wear a dastaar, then fine. Nobody is forcing her. But why have you got such an issue with the thousands who do? Throughout the world thousands of bibian are wearing dastaars. They are all realising guru jis Roop, so why has your mind such an issue with it? Why do you insist they are taliban or fanatics. That is so offensive. They are spreading love with Guru Jis Roop. You talk of nirmallas, but veer ji, you are not "nirmal" yourself? You are steeped in jealousy and hatred. Veer ji, learn from what you preach. There is no point doing "cut and paste" sikhi about spiritual stages, and love when you have no sehaj, and are drenched in such bad thoughts. Veer ji, you endless mention 108 baba said this and that. Let me ask you. Is there anyone higher than Bhai Nand lal? He may not be from any sampradaya of yours, but he was definately a companion of Guru ji, and he has the status of having his writings equalled to Gurbani. Now please go through each one of his rehit namas in detail. Tell me how anyone can satisfy each and every rehitnama without fully without wearing a dastaar? simpy question. Lastly, let me tell you something else. We do not wear keskis to reach sackhand. I do not, my wife does not, and even my 7 month daughter does not. We wear them to get the blessing of our Guru. We feel they are part of our Guru given saroop, and we wear them to please him. Nothing more and nothing less. Veer ji, you may say this person took his kirpan off, and that person took their kachara off and they went here and there. But veer ji, we wear them because we love our Guru. He has asked us to wear them, and we will never take them off. They are part of our saroop. You see sachkhand is not an aim. Making my Guru happy is the aim. Sachkhand is a blessing, which he bestows. That is his chioce, when he wishes to bless his sikhs with. We just try and make him pleased with us. My daughter is 7 months old. She wears a keski. A very small one, from maal maal. I thought she is too small, and maybe later in life. But when we went pesh, she wore it then. Since then whenever we take it off she cries, until we re-tie it on her. I was surprised at first. Now I just consider as a blessing that my child at 7 months already loves her keski. You see. We do things to make our Guru pleased, and our Guru contniues to make our lives happy and just like living in sachkhand. Attached is a picture of my daughter. Bibi komal kaur. 7 months. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh.
  2. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, I was waiting for veer namstang. I think he has a theory of how New york city has 108 letters. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  3. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji kefateh Pyare jio, thank you for a gurmat response. Clearly 108 is working wonders on you. But I tend to stick to the belief that no number is enough when it comes to abyass. Just like Waheguru himself, it is beant. (beyond counting) As I said before, veer ji, the rest is just your baggage. It is never wise to place your baggage upon others. definately not Gurmat. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji kefateh if you don't know antriv araths of 108 or mystical tradtions within sikhi dharma then it's better not to say anything? you are a making a mockery of yourself !. I know for you adyatamic sikhi started from akj. but not for us..! 145996[/snapback]
  4. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji kefateh Pyare jio, they do a wide range of seva. Sometimes in very difficult circumstances. They are building schools throughout punjab now. The problem they are facing is parents not encouraging the sikhi in the kids when they leave, and so alot of good youth slowly dwindle away. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji kefateh
  5. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, there are main of these groups at the moment due to the weakness in the Guru khalsa Panth. They all claim love and peace, and attach themselves to sikh personalities. The nirankaries did this, then they killed 13 Gursikhs in 1978 who were peacefully protesting against foul language used agaisnt the Guru Sahibaan. Namdharees will also talk of love and peace, and at the same say Guru Gobind singh was coward who lived away from the world for almost 100 years to justify a false lineage. Narinder grewal will also write wonderful posts about love and spirituality, yet not mention taking the wife of a chela. Where do you stop, There are so many. They say the sweetest things, but do they have the substance inside? Where you stop is the sahib Siri Guru granth sahib ji. The true destination of love, peace, harmony, is the Sahib Siri Guru Granth sahib ji. The rest are all imitations who just use the knowledge of bani for their personal benefit. Those who are lead by the blind will never find their true destiantion, but those who search the truth, which is bani, will never go astray. There is only One in this World, That his bani. This is the only Path. My Guru sahibaan has seen every path, and every person, yet they clearly I have left every path, and you are my only door. This door is "Shabad Guru ". waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  6. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, an old thread, when this 108 theory post was discussed on another messageboard. http://www.tapoban.org/phorum/read.php?f=1...805#reply_21925 Personally, Sikh bole and counting starts at sava lakh. These 108 things are add on in the guise of sikhi. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  7. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, for anyone who does not know about Bhai sahib. This thread has some stories about him. http://www.tapoban.org/phorum/read.php?f=1...442#reply_63939 waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  8. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, just for one moment forget he was Mohammed and forget he is linked to Islam. Then consider Sahib Siri Guru Nanak dev Jis teachings of "Truth is high, but higher is truthful living". Hence Guru jis puts our actions as accountable and that we are fundamentally judged for them. So without predjudice of who Mohammed is, just consider his actions and lifestyle. Can a person who marries a 6 year old, be a friend of God? Can a person who sells slaves accept humanity as one, and be a friend of God? Can a person who kills many soldiers, and then commits hell on their wives and children be a man of compassion and a friend of God? However if that man repents this, and ask for forgiveness from God, then he is a friend of God. I have no agenda against Mohammed, but I am, as every human is, bound by the rules of God, which are love, decency, compassion and humanity. That is what My Guru teaches me. No person no matter how great is beyond compassion, humanity, love. Veer ji, if I have broken any sikhsangat rules, I am sure the mods will reprimand me. I am not beyond any reprimanding by any Gursikh. But in the same I believe no human, even mohammed who is procalimed as a prophet is beyond reprimanding by the rules of humanity and compassion. Tell me where in bani, my Guru tells me to be blind, and ignore wrong deeds? tell me if sahib siri Guru Nanak dev ji did any of the above. Would you follow him? waheguru ji ka khalsa, wahegurujikefateh
  9. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, actually the Sahib Siri Guru Granth sahib is the only religious composition written by its prophets, i.e. The Guru sahibaan themselves. No other religion can claim this. The Koran was written not by allah, but 50 years after Mohammed passed away. Mohammed himslef was illiterate, so did not write anytthing. Even if he did via dictation, the religious zealouts have destroyed everything to do with him, because they say it will lead to idol worship. But the kabba and the Hajj is one big idol worship. Even the Bible was written 50-100 years after Jesus. That is why they all have the chinese whisper factor about them. I have written articles about my debates with muslims before. We are going back 6-7 years now. I will have to find them and bring them back up. As far as upsetting people. I found often they did become upset, but on more occasions they became confused and often embarrassed. They are trained in their workshops to approach kaffirs, i.e. sikhs. They are trained to ask specific questions and get specific answers back. They already have follow up questions ready. The gullable always fall for it. But when they come across someone like me who has some knowledge, they often find they have no clue what to do. So rather than being upset, they are often more embarassed. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh p.s. one thing I respect about muslims is that no matter what their personal practice is, they have a fundamental belief that their faith is unquestionable. If only sikhs were the same. Quite often they question it themselves. Be proud to be a Sikh, and make it a unquestionable faith.
  10. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji kefateh Pyare jio, my uncle in Slough also had cancer, but with Guru jis kirpa he is perfectly fine now aswell. His name is Gurbaksh Singh. He originally took Amrit with my father back in the 80`s. He got cancer which left him is quite a bad state. He got treatment with caused him to not come in sangat as much, due to his kesh all falling out. He was only given a little while to live. This led to great pain in him. Eventually after many years of treatment. He got fed up. He decided to stop the treatment which had failed twice by now. He went pesh infront of Punj Pyares at the AKJ UK Vaisakhi smagam in Slough in 1996. Since then he left all to Guru ji. I remember walking past his house with used to be just down the road from my house. I could hear him doing simran in his upstair room, from the street outside, when I walked past. Over time his kesh came back. His health has dramatically improved. Now I speak to him, and he is in perfectly health. The doctors have checked him out a few times, and are totally surprised by his health and this level of recovery. He is now retired and spends all his day doing langar de seva in Slough Gurdwara. He always has Lallee on his face. On sundays you will always see him doing the mop seva in the gurdwara with Bhai Malkit Singh, who does seva in the punj of AKJ UK. Anyone is welcome to go and speak to him and meet him. He always has a big smile on his face, and will tell you to do simran. He is quite shy, but is very friendly. He will probably be unhappy with me for getting him some attention. But if it inspires someone towards Naam. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  11. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, veer ji, I do wish you would get away from "cut and paste " sikhi. You seem to very impressed by what you write, but sorry because I tend to be far more analytical and practical. I do not believe everything I read, and generally stand by what I personally experience. Just because something sounds good, it does not make it the truth. Only if it corresponds with Gurbani is it the truth. I wish you the best of luck with your mahapurshs. I do not question them and have neither ever felt any urge to make any comment on them. I do not judge them, but I just choose to base my sikhi on the Gurbani I read, and not any personality, be it any of your mahapurshes or Bhai Randhir Singh. Like I said I do not question your mahapurshs, and neither do I accept that they even said everything you say, they said. You are addicted to dropping names when presenting any argument. If you mentioned gurbani tuks, I would give you more credence. I also wish you stop taking the mickey out of damdami taksal in your mails. Maybe other youth have not picked up on it, but I have. You are disrespectful to the true nature of that jatha. So often when we have debated, you mention words like "katarvadi, black and white, anti-panthic, and so forth". I am not sure why you do this. If you honestly think I will retaliate to this, then you are mistaken, because this things just make me take you less seriously. I could have taken you post apart point by point, but honestly I have done that so many times before, do you really want me. As far as this topic is concened I said everything I wished to say in my first post which is below. But for you who may be confused let me summarise it. 1. No sikh should every be afraid of going before their Guru in the form of the Panj Pyares with any problem. 2. naam can only be given by the Panj. 3. there is only one Amrit. 4. If a person over time does not keep up his/her jeevan, then there should be no stigma in them going before the Panj to rejuvenate their jeevan. It is no reflection on their original peshi. 5. According to bani, to live a life devoid of Naam is the biggest sin. This is all I have said. Nothing more and nothing less. Everything else is your own baggage which you are trying to attach to me. My original post is below. waheguru ji kekhalsa waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, "Nanak Amrit ek hai duja nahi koe". Lets be clear there is only one Amrit. That is given by the panj pyares. The concept of naam varies from different sikh circles. Some see naam as fundamental part of sikh based on attempting to jaap it 24/7. Others see naam as paath and reading gurbani. Others see naam as nature, some see it as seva. I personally believe it to be the first thing. As something fundamental to sikhi, based on attempting to jaap it 24/7. Some people have a stigma about going pesh. Some believe it as questioning your amrit. This is wrong. Any person should be able to go to the Panj pyares for anything at anytime. If you have a dispute, you can get the panj to resolve it. If you have done a kurehit, then you get pesh in front of the panj. If you have a child, then you get pesh to give the child choola. In the same way, if you feel lacking in naam, then you go to Panj who give you Naam. It is NOT taking Amrit again. It is just getting Naam from the Panj Pyares. Even those who have got Naam from the panj before, but their Amrit vela has collapsed and feel devoid of naam should get it again, and start to rebuild the spiritual life. There is nothing wrong with getting pesh. But according to Gurbani, there is alot wrong with not getting up at amrit vela and being devoid of Naam. The important thing is getting pesh is not the answer. If you get naam, and do not jaap it afterwards, then you will be back at square one. The important thing is to drench your life in naam. So do seva, simran, sangat, and lead your minds to a more spiritual avastha. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  12. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji kefateh Pyare jio, our conscious is a wonderful thing. Guru ji made it such a wonderful way, that we can never run away from it. It ensures that we are sincere in what we do, say, and think. In your case, if the person has forgiven you, then you must forgive yourself. Otherwise you will never move on. Just always remember what you did, and ensure you never do it again. As veer ji above said ardas will help. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji kefateh
  13. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, veer namstang ji, for someone who writes alot you seem to continually be devoid of much substance. If one were to analyse your post in detail, then one would find it has some good details, but also alot of incorrect matter and further many inconsistancies. It leaves one wondering where to start..... Veer ms514 - Bhai sahib was confused with naam. That is why he has written so many books on it to show others what naam is, and to eradicate this confusion in others. Today many are still confused with naam. It is quite surprising considering the Naam is the fundamental concept of sikhism. But if one was to follow the logic of your post then one would have a long path just to find the seed of sikhi. It is alot more practical and easier to just go to your Panj pyares. Generally from this thread. I get the impression that some people think it is to do with jathas. I sincerely hope it is not. I have rarely come across anyway, who just wants to be part of a jatha. because anyone can go to keertan. But I do come across alot of people young and old, who wish they could improve their jeevans and be more abyassi. That has nothing to do with jathas, it is natural and fundamental thing which many sikhs want. If people from taksal or nanaksar get naam dhrir, they do because they wish to experience naam on a deeper level. This is no reflection on thier current state, because if they are content then fine, but if not then they should have an opportnuity to try something else. This does not mean they stop doing seva in them jathas. infact it means they often do more. For example, there are many elders and youth in Uk from taksal, nanaksar, missionary colleges, and many other jathas who get pesh, and continue to do seva with there jathas. This is good because naam dhrirta will spread. It is not the fault of AKJ that they hold naam as important and something which should be emphasised. Gurbani fundamentally puts naam is everything. As more people get pesh, naam spreads, and hopefully in my life I will see the day when every Amrit sanchaar in the Panth re-invigorates Naam. It is the ripple effect, as more people jaap it, more realise. We can be all emotional and say what about this person, who went here, and that person, they were all jeevan wale aswell. I am sure they were, but they found naam in the own time. Surely the ideal is finding it from the Panj, when you actually intially go for it. Sikhi is a practical religion. Lets face facts - not every Amritdhari is naam abyassi, so if we go around thinking there is no problem, clearly there is a big problem. Our Gurdwaras in general are devoid of naam, which is why they do not attract youth and niether inspire them. The panth is in a pitiful state. Every jathebandie including damdami taksal and AKJ are weak in themselves. Everyday the Panth is losing is jeevan wale Gursikhs. But at the same time as sticking up for naam. I am also saying that no jatha has monoploy on Naam. AKJ is good, but can always get better. Just as every other group who does the seva of creating Gursikhs, we all can do better. Those youth who are getting pesh, need to realise that only getting pesh, is not the answer, but practicing in Naam via strong Amrit velas, training the mind to recognise the 5 viokaars and analysing their actions and after effects on the inds, and putting a pathway in place towards Sat, Sontokh, Daya, Dharam is the answer. In conclusion, it is good, that people are realising that being satisfied in out pitiful state of our jeevans is wrong, and listening to bani, and striving for a more focussed jeevan on Naam is the way. There should be no-one who should be jealous if people are doing that. Instead we should be happy that there is a hunger of Naam in the Panth. Halemi Raaj is going to be built on Naam. it is not going to built on wishy washy posts, that are long but have little substance. If it was that easy, then we would already have halemi raaj. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  14. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji kefateh Pyare jio, personally I am not sarblohi. My sarbloh bibek is my nitnem and amrit vela. Maybe in future as I build some kind of a jeevan, I will adopt it. However as yet I am still in the stage where I concentrate on the simple things and try and do them well. I have experience of sarbloh. Not because I was one. But because a Gursikh who kept that rehit lived with me for 6 months. So we ate and made food together. My personal experience was that I did find it helpful. It simplifies your diet and your chioces, creating less "wants". Because it simplified that side of your mind, it made me personally feel more content and humble. Instead of having cravings for ffod, you have cravings for naam and bani. Also I found it made me stronger in my belief in Gurmat. So I was glad I spent them six months with that Gursikh. It is only by trying something do you really understand it. However I did not interact in the sangat as a Sarblohi, because I never have formally adopted it. When one interacts with the sangat, for some, it leads to difficulty, of subtle ego, or with others mindless debates when every one questions your rehit. I find both unhelpful. It is not usually the sarblohi who has a problem, but those around these Gursikhs. In other cases you get some sarblohis, who seem deviod of compassion or sehaj, and are far too bothered about food, who touched what, and how it was cooked, etc. This I feel is also wrong. How can you concentrate on naam, when your mind is stuck in food? It should be a simple rehit, but when it becomes an obsession, then it can be far more dangerous to your mind, than anything else. In conclusion, the rehit of sarbloh is a very hard rehit to keep. I have utmost satkar for those who do it. But if you do it, do not become a pakhandi by doing it, but use it to build upon a strong amrit vela and jeevan of bhagti. If you do not have that then your sarbloh is of little value. It is a rehit that should bring even more compassion and humilty, and not a rehit which should bring ego. Personally I would advise gursikhs, if they are thinking of this rehit to spend one year doing Amrit vela. If in a year, you never miss a day, then start to keep the rehit. If you miss a day, then start your year again from that day. Only when you are firm in your abyass do you need to protect that abyass. On the waheguru network forum, this subject also came up. Someone sent a link to at article on tapoban. It is quite informative on this subject, for thse who wish to debate it. http://www.tapoban.org/langar.htm waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  15. waheguru ji kekhalsa waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, "Nanak Amrit ek hai duja nahi koe". Lets be clear there is only one Amrit. That is given by the panj pyares. 16. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, I am not sure exactly why lost soul is so upset. The whole of Gurbani compares the idealogies of one religion to another. Bhagat kabir is very unforgiving of Islam. Sahib Siri Guru Nanak dev spoke opening against janeau, fasting and many other things. Pyare jio, people are not bashing faiths when we dicsuss fact about their lives. When we read the lives of Sahib Siri Guru Nanak dev ji, I find each story full of inspration, wisdom and pyaar. So I thought I would read about others aswell, hoping for the same stuff, but was sadly disppointed. I have read extensively about jesus, mohammed, buddha, out of interest. I find jesus and budhha good people who have positive messages, but lacking in certain areas. Mohammed has a life that leaves alot to be desired. The things mentioned by Veer Bikramjeet singh are just the tip of the iceberg. I always respect the sentiments of others, but this does not mean, the wrongful acts should be ignored just because that person was a leader. All humans are equal and respect worthy, but not all idealogues are. Nowhere in Gurbani does it say all idealogues are equal. We do not riducule the beliefs of others, neither act superior to them, but we should discuss them. I speak to punjabis who have converted to islam, and I talk them out of it. It is because I choose to develop my knowledge on this subject. Most sikhs, when they see a punjbai convert, just stick their noses up and push them away further, or just say we should not question islam. I find both these attitudes wrong in my opinion, and such choose to engage those who convert in discussion, to see why they convert. However I do not accept sikhs saying to me that I have no right to question mohammed, and equating that to bashing. This is because ignorance is lack of knowledge and basing assumptions on that. Gaining knowledge and making opinions upon that knowledge is not ignorance. Islam has many good virtues, and many good people follow it and learn from it. But also Mohammed and some concepts in islam are highly questionable. waheguru ji kekhalsa waheguru ji ke fateh
  17. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, one one side the last 18 months has seen alot of pyare Gursikhs leave this world. On the other side, many new Gursikhs are realising their Guru. This year I have seen about 60 Gursikhs who I personally know take Amrit. Khalsa camp was good, plus the smagams. Hopefully next year, we will see alot more good parchaar via Naam and bani. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  18. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, please do not just assume Mohammed was a great person. I did, before I read about his life. I now think he is a highly questionable individual. I would not regard him as a great man, not even comparable with any Sikh. Any person who just keeps basic rehit is a better human being than him. Read about his life, and how he actually lived. You will be very surprised. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  19. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, it is completely impractical. How can anybody wearing a dastaar like that do any seva, as per hukam of akaal? waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  20. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, veer ji/bhenji sabresword has sent me a message asking me to comment. But I do not see what more there is to say. I have already said everything on the tapoban thread. Pyare jio, I do not see what is so confusing about it. here is a cut and paste of my final comments. Re: Taking hukum and parchia Author: Jagjit Singh Date: 12-14-05 05:01 waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, I fail to see how putting two pieces of paper with YES/NO, in front of Guru Maharaj, then doing ardas, and then picking one up is right? What is the difference between doing that and doing ardas then tossing a coin and saying heads for yes, and tails for no? Nobody would do the latter, so why do the former? A hukamnama is always specific. However the same hukamnama from for example, Darbar Sahib, can mean specifically different things to thousands of different Gursikhs around the world. This is a the amazing power of the Sahib Siri Guru Granth Sahib. No living person who claims to be a Guru in false Gurudooms can ever do this. The only reason, things like parchaain start is because of our lack of knowledge of Gurbani, lack of faith in Guru, or laziness in trying to find the interpretation of the hukamnama. If this is the case, then solve this problem, do not add another problem to it. Guru Sahib will be happy to take ownership of a decision which is made in line with Gurmat, but people are passing ownership of decisions based on chance. To the veers who are in dilemmas because they may have lavan da paath or other hukamnamas. It is impossible for me, to interpret the shabad for you, as I do not know who you are , or what your circumstance is. I will not even try on this messageboard. If you are in UK, approach me in the sangat, and we can discuss it further. The lavan shabad for someone can tell them to marry, others remove doubts about marriage. For others, it may mean concentrate more on naam and spirituality at these stages of your life are passing, or as you become one with soul - bride and Akaal. For others it is the accomplishment of achieving this. It all depends on you, your state of sikhi, and what is happening in your jeevan. Guru ji has spoken to you accordingly. Hukamnamas are there as a means for Guru ji to give you advice and direction. They remove your dilemmas. But as is the case for some, who have been unable to interpret it, and it has put them more in dilemma or dubda. Then there is nothing wrong in doing ardas. In this ardas asking Guru ji to remove dubdas and dilemmas from your mind, and taking another hukamnama. My benti is leave all other avenues in life, of chance, trickery, blind worship, and fall in front of sahib siri Guru Granth sahib accepting Guru ji as the sole guide in your life, by accepting his words of Gurbani. - the SHABAD GURU. waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  21. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, for a detailed analysis of Science and Gurmat read the books of Subedar Dharam Singh Sujon from Leicester. They have also been serialised in many Uk punjabi papers. They are excellent. They also make one realise how much of science we are unaware of, and how deep Gurmat philosophies are explained in scientific manner. These books are available on stalls at AKJ UK rainsbhais and Sikh missionary society Southall. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
  22. waheguru ji kekhalsa waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, I have worn a dumalla for over 10 years now. I do it because i find them the most practical dastaar. However when I see the pics of Gursikhs like Nihang Major Singh. I wonder, whats the point? I do think they make a mockery of the dastaar with over the top stuff like that. waheguru ji kekhalsa waheguru ji ke fateh
  23. waheguru ji kekhalsa waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, every religion or people have good virtues. Gurmat teaches us to collect these virtues. Hence we as sikhs are no higher or lower than anybody else, as we need to collect the same virtues. All religions are not equal, all people are equal. Religions are idealogues. As bhenji says the true religion is Naam. Naam has every virtue in it. The path of sikhism is the most logical, spiritually accessible and most developed path. The only problem is Sikhs have never been able to express this path to the greater wider world in an articulate manner. waheguru ji kekhalsa waheguru ji ke fateh
  24. waheguru ji kekhalsa waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, in most gurdwara, bibian take it home. In others they throw it away, which I have always thought is really wrong. Re-using is not recommended and can lead to food poisoning. waheguru ji kekhalsa waheguru ji ke fateh
  25. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, no one donation is bigger than another. It is what is the heart of the giver that matters, not how big it is. waheguru ji kekhalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh
