  1. No I haven't got a copy. I've read it though. And, I wouldn't bother with the archives available on the internet. Just like Doordarshan permnently deleted all records of Amitabh bachan at the scene the Indian media has, sicnce then, permenently erased all incriminating evidence. You'll just have to find someone with an original copy of that issue.
  2. You should all try and get hold of the December 1984 edition of the respected high quality Indian news magazine 'India Today'. What you'll find in it will blow your mind. Straight after the mass slaughter and mass rape of Sikhs in Delhi a month earlier ordinary Indians were interviewed by the news magazine and asked for their thoughts. Ordinary middle class Indians in Delhi, all of them. Businessmen, doctors, housewives, students, teachers etc. Every single one of them....100%....said the Sikhs had it coming and the massacre of them was justified. So, you want figures....you want percentages ? Get hold of the December 1984 edition of India Today. That will give you the percentage of how many Indian Hindus are scum.
  3. Just watched the video. Very sad. We're all pretty sad too because this man isn't beyond our help.....in that he's a drinker not a drug addict. If our heart was in the right place we could have easily saved this soul (life) by now. Worst thing is he came to the UK after being in Sweden. Sweden !!!!! What a wasted opportunity. They need to make more punjabi bhangra songs about Sweden and get it (Sweden) into people's sub-conscious so nobody makes that same mistake again.
  4. Dhadrianwale getting arrested is no longer something that can be termed "breaking news" or even 'news' in general. His own camp always state he has been arrested at least every other week. In total, he must have been arrested around 3000 times. Each time however, he comes out of it (the arrest) the other end looking like a man thats just spent a night in a luxury 5 star health spa. So fresh. So rejuvenated. So shiny and healthy. However, if me, you or any other Sikh would have to spend even one night in the custody of the Punjab Police there is a 25% chance that we wouldn't come out the other end alive and a 99.9% chance we would come out of it with several broken bones and multiple exterior injuries. I don't trust any of them. Neither should you.
  5. I didn't call him anything. If you read my message to Simran I was offering her random made up examples of possible uses of words starting with 'in', 'un' and 'im'. You're funny. I like you.
  6. Get a room you two. I think I'm gonna be sick. Simran, it is very important to remember when to use the 'in' and when to use the 'un'. Just to give you some random examples: 'Dallysingh is in-bred' 'Dallysingh is an un-padh' It is of course Simran very important not to confuse the 'in' with an 'im'. Just as an example: 'Dallysingh is an impotent eunach' or 'dallysingh is an imbecile'
  7. No you didn't Simran. You meant 'inappropriate'.
  8. 'Afsos', is a Punjabi word taken directly from the Farsi (Iranian) language meaning regret or sorrow. It is then, correctly spelt with an 'f' rather than a 'v'. My own experience of afsos though, is quite different to the OP in the following ways: There's usually no seperate rooms for men and women. We all sit together. There really isn't an excessive amount of crying Contrary to what the OP said, I've found that its actually seen as disrespectful to refuse the cup of cha. The body is usually (nearly always) brought to the house to be viewed by the funeral directors (although I realise this is a big difference between Canadian Sikhs vs the rest of the world because Canada has some Laws about having the body in places that are not in the 'approved list')
  9. There are 2 agricultural tribes in Punjab. The larger one is the Jatts and the smaller one is the Sainis. The Sainis own and farm around 50% of the land in the Hoshiarpur district of doaba (and also comprise around 25% of the Sikh farmers that own the fruit orchards of northern California). The speciality of the Saini is the humble potato and things like onions. This has much to do with the poor quality of soil in their heartlands of district Hoshiarpur. Thus, throughout our history, they have become known as the 'onion farmer'. Rudyard Kipling, in his epic story 'Kim', also incorporated this fact about Punjab by having a Saini onion farmer from Hoshiarpur character in the story. None of this, of course, has anything to do with anything. But it is a fairly interesting fact when discussing potatos, onions and farming in Punjab.
  10. Well. I think we've seen it all now. Urban, small 3ft X 3ft patch, allottment carrot and cucumber growers giving farmers lectures about farmimg.
  11. The "pendu" comments are just a way of being able to get away with being casteist here without actully using 'caste' names. Its a clever ruse by a devious and divisive minds. After all, such people will rarely be makin comments along the lines of "Its those 'townies and city-wallahs who are to blame for all the anti-sikh jokes"....."the way they live a life of half Sikh and half-Hindu rituals and thus give Bollywood and the the Hindus the impression that we Sikhs do pooja and worship photos etc"...."oooh those damn townies". No.You wil rarely hear anything regarding the urban people. Its all a clever ruse to casteist without actually naming the caste. Go back over all of dallysingh's messages and count how many times, on different topics and threads, he has actually used the "pendu" word and how he actually uses it.
  12. Watching the non-stop news, there's one thing I can't help but think about: My children.....and how their lives are never gonna be worth as much as the white man's lives. I mean lets look at the facts of Thursday and Friday. On Thursday ISIS bombed the shiites of Beirut. Bombs went off all over Beirut and many many shiites died, icluding children and death toll still rising. No non-stop news for them. No emergency press conferences by Obama and Cameron for them. No govt buildings being lit up in Lebanese colours for them. One day later ISIS do it in Paris. All human life is special. All human life is valuable. But clearly some humans are worth more than others. So when Hollande, Cameron and Obama talk about "humanity" remember that.
  13. Past, Present and Future. On their own these are just words. But to you as Sikhs they should mean something. Something enough to awaken what it actually means to be a Sikh. Present: Right at the front...in front of Modi, in the picture...well within brown nosing distance is Mohinder Singh, the president of the massive Soho Road Gurdwara in Birmingham. Past: I stated right here on this forum how this man was selling us out to such an extent that evn the queen gave him an OBE honour in the name of selling out. I told you how he had made is fortune by preying on the dignity of elderly, vulnerable people. Itold you how he calls himseld Dr' and thus gets on the front seat with Modi and honours from the queen because he is millionaiire. I told you how he is a miilionaire because he owns 4 elderly persons care homes. I told you how the Care Commission has given every care home he owns the poorest possible rating because....according to the Care Commission's official reports.......the 'dignity' and 'safety' of those vulnerable old folk has been blatantly violated. In other words, I told you how this 'great Sikh community elder and spokessman' is worse than a street drug dealer because he actually made is fortune and respect on the back of taking away the dignity of the people that deserve it the most : the vulnerable elderly. Near Past: None of you in the midlands did anything. The son of a <banned word filter activated> was so surpirised you did nothng despite you now knowing what you do he got even braver. Present: The son of a <banned word filter activated> was the front row....international headline.....Sikhs love Modi and India.....interational poster boy against everything we Siikhs have been fighting for. Future: Apart from listeining to what I say about a man you all have stop and analyse why you were so unpadh that you couldn't, in advance, shame a besharm before he and his besharm colleagues cheapen and rubbish the Sikh struggle and thus the Sikh rights momentum that had been building the last few weeks. Here, on this website, I gave you enough details to send this man to the Courts and hopefully prison. I gave you all in-depth company record details about his unethical and perhaps illegal business dealings over the course of the last 10 years. None of you did <banned word filter activated> with what I armed you with. Present : Son of a <banned word filter activated> got brave and is getting braver. Son of a <banned word filter activated> went on....the last 2 days....and became the public / international face of 'Sikhs that love India'. Future: In future ae you all gonna simply lament the status quo or are you finally gonna analyse how your own ineptness, lazyness and un-padhness gave birth to the status quo. ?
  14. Ooooh. Lets see if we can't help you to see : Its the major cause of debt in rural Punjab That debt is then the major cause of suicide in Punjab Punjab has an epidemic problem of suicide (caused by debt which itself was mostly caused by borrowing for lavish wedding) Its not a new problem. The British introduced the Punjab Land Act specifically to exclude Hindu moneylenders from aquiring Punjab land through foreclosure as in other parts of India farmers were borrowing and getting themselves into unmanageable debt in order to pay for their daughters marriage. Can you now "see" ?
  15. Thats Canada stylee. Not UK, Punjab or Italy or Australia etc. In fact not anywhere except Canada (and perhaps Amrika). Everywhere else (apart from Canada) the 'reception party' is paid for by the bride's family and everywhere else (apart from Canada) that actual wedding reception party is held in the afternoon rather than late at night. In fact, the afternoon reception vs the late evening reception is the thing that differentiates Sikh Punjabi culture from Hindu Punjabi culture. Everywhere, as I say, except Canada.
  16. Not april. Definately September. I mean the sheep grazing at night thing seems to imply summer but a light can always be seen in the sky above palestine around September, and september is still warm enough for sheeps to still be grazing at night so September it is then. Not that I care. Just like to know your logic behind 'April' ?
  17. Its high time on a thread about caste. This isn't it. The fact that you've unessarily brought 'caste' into a discussion that wasn't about caste, and brought the British into a conversation that wasn't about the British, and brought the word 'jatt' into a discussion where nobody else did means you are every bit as toxic towards Sikh issues as Badal himself. What you've done....for no good reason at all....is deflect attention away from the actual issue of the thread, i.e the officialy released Indian government statistics that show a Sikh's life, freedom and dignity is valued at just 1/3 of a Hindu's. To deliberately deflect attention away from such damning statistics and by bringing 'caste' into the discussion ensuring everyone is focussed on caste rather than the damning stats means you are every bit an enemy of Sikhism as Badal.
  18. According to the UK's latest statistics (2012) the Sikhs make up 0.9% of the prison population and thats largely in line with them being 0.7% of the general population of the UK. The Hindus make up 0.5% of the prison population and its important to note how the Hindus in general in the UK are mostly middle class and live in nice areas where crime and contact with the criminal justice system is less likely. The Sikhs in the UK however, mostly live in inner city areas and are mostly working class. Thus, it makes perfect sense that a Hindu in the UK would be slightly less likely than a Sikh in the UK to be in prison. That is common sense but common sense goes out of the window when one considers the figures for India. In India, the opposite is true as the Sikhs do not exist at all among the millions of Hindus that belong to one of the criminal tribes or castes and Sikhs do not exist among the very destitute beggars who are of course more likely - sometimes justifiably - to committ crime. In India then, despite the Sikhs being less likely to commit crime than a Hindu there are three times more of them in prison. How do you justify that then ?
  19. Well thats where things get even more interesting and the figures actually even more damning. You see, ther are whole tribes - a whole caste grouping - among the Hindus who are officialy a 'criminal tribe' meaning that the sole vocation of that grouping is to commtt crime. Their numbers run into the millions and the Sikhs have no such equivelent. And then also we have to remember that Sikhs are generally not part of the destitute very poor of India. Again, those people are mostly Hindu and their numbers run into many many millions. Now, those are all people that not only do committ the most crime but also are likely to commit more and the one thing they have in common is that they are Hindu. So, when you consider how the Sikhs at large are actually far less likely to committ crime than the Hindus at large the figures are actually even more alarming than at first glance. Evn though a Hindu is more likely to be a criiminal the official figures say that a Sikh is 3 x more likely to be arrested.....3 x more likely to be put before a judge in court......3 x more likely to be found guilty by a judge.....3 x more likely to be in prison than a Hindu. Exact or similar figures that apply to American blacks. Exact same institutionalised vilification and demonisation. Exact same degrading of our history, dignity and sense of self-worth. The people that do this to us have done so well at making us lose our sense of self-worth there are still some Sikhs that say they are Indian and proud to be Indian even after finding out how the Indian system officially, according to their own stats, view the life, dignity and freedom of Hindu as three times more valuable than yours. Just what kind of a Sikh would be happy to inflict such a degrading existence and value upon his children ?
  20. The topic, you ilitterate little twerp, is about our position as a minority in India. A position where, according to that government's own statistics, a Sikh mother and father have to exist knowing that the value of their son or daughter is officially 1/3 of a Hindu child's value. Official. The topic then, goes on to ask why and how people like yourself (who love India) can have so much hatred and low-opinion of your own children that you're willing and happy for them to be part of a society where their lives, freedom and dignity mean so little. That ^, my friend, is what this thread is about. Only God, you and perhaps your mental health social worker knows why you've been having a lone discussion with yourself here about 'caste'.
  21. Big Tera, the surest sign of mental illness is to do what you did on this thread: So, a step by step guide in how to be a mental : Go on to a thread that isn't about caste and nobody on the thread has mentioned anything about caste Be the first on the thread to mention caste for no reason whatsoever Keep mentioning caste again and again even though everyone else is talking about the criminal justice system statistics published by the Indian govt Ignore all that and keep having a mental discussion with yourself about caste Then, at the end, re; your last message, write a post in which you contradict yourself and the conversation you've been having with yourself about caste by saying 'caste does not exist. And there you have it. A step by step guide in being a mental.
  22. Exactly. But change your tone so that, at the very least, one can see whether you're agreeing with someone or disagreeing with them. For example, you replied to me, saying you agree with me, but have used a tone that would suggest to the layman you are completely disagreein with me. In hindsight, your message would have been better directed towards the person just above you (Big Tera) who loves his India ever so much no matter what it does to humilate him and his people..
  23. Again, jkvlondon, a totally irrelevat post. Not saying what you said does not have any merit but the fact of the matter is that your children and my children, as sikhs, have to come to terms with these realities, whilst there are a whole load of Sikhs that still, stupidly, maintain that we are Indian. i.e According to the official Indian government statistics there are 3 times more Sikhs than Hindus being arrested. According to the official Indian government statistics there are 3 times more Sikhs than Hindus being sent to Court. According to the official Indian government statistics there are 3 times more Sikhs than Hindus being tried by a Judge. According to the official Indian government statistics there are 3 times more Sikhs than Hindus being found guilty by a judge. According to the official Indian government statistics there are 3 times more Sikhs than Hindus being sent to prison by the judge. So I ask these questions to these Sikhs that still maintain they love India : Just how much do you hate your own children that you want them to be part of a country where their lives, dignity and freedom are worth so little ? Just what exactly do you teach your children where you teach them it's OK they should be 3 x more likely to end up in the criminal justice system ? Just what kind of parents are you ??????
