I remember when jagmeet Singh was cycling to work and people were praising him for keeping things simple and not destroying the environment by driving a car. I guess that was an act as well. Flying out to a different country when he could have had his wedding in his province is not being simple and not good for the environment. And for all those claiming maybe before the wedding his not amritdhari confused Punjabi wife would take Amrit were living in dream world. When people get power, they abuse that power to fulfill their wants. They don't care about the big picture, the Khalsa Panth teachings. An amritdhari man should have enough guts in him to tell his future wife to follow the Guru or this worldly relationship will end. His wife decision to be fashionable over properly covering her head before Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji is very arrogant. It shows the level of respect she has for Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. People in power are the most arrogant people. I wonder what Sri Akal Takht sahib will say if they look into where this wedding was conducted. It has been recognized by Sri Akal Takht sahib to not have an Anand Karaj on the beach. From the picture it looks as the Anand karaj was done on the beach. People in power think they are above the law of Gurmat. Such behavior shown is basically a big middle finger to the Nirmal Panth started by Sri Guru Nanak dev ji. Disregard for Gurmat shows no respect for the shaheeds of 1984 because they lived and died to uphold Gurmat. But what do I know. I'm not in a position of power, just shut up and let the arrogant people run a muck of very thing good and pure.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji didn't discriminate between satguru as their is only one same satguru for every yug. He told us to praise, worship, meditate on the one and only satguru. He wrote about the 24 incarnations of Vishnu and he corrected what happened actually to the 24 incarnations. If Krishna and Vishnu were satguru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji would have said it in his writing about them. Instead he wrote to say I don't praise them or think of them, I hold Mahakaal ( which translates into Vaheguru in this context as he is the destroyer of all) praise only in my mind. -

Bhai Gurdas ji is not wrong. Your interpretation of Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaar is wrong. In the Taksal Sampooran Rehras Sahib, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji says the following: Chopei Mai āNā ganays(i) pritham manaaoo(n)| kisan bisan kabhoo(n) neh dhiaaoo(n) I do not praise or hail Ganesh before I start any task. (In old times, often Ganesh would be hailed before starting any task). Nor do I let the thought of Vishnu or any incarnations of Vishnu (i.e. Krishna) enter my mind. (Meaning Guru Gobind Singh Ji never regarded Vishnu or any avatars as the supreme Lord; Akaal purakh, as he states next.) Kaan sunay pahichaan āNā thin so| liv laagee more pag in so I know of their existence, but I do not ever worship them. May my prayers and thoughts always be in the immaculate, holy feet of the Lord (the one and only). In the above Bani of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji we can see how Guru Sahib is saying, he does not even have a thought (does not praise) of Vishnu and his incarnations enter his mind. If Vishnu and Krishna were Satguru, then why doesn't Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji even think of them when praising Vaheguru? Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji says, I know of there existence but I do not worship them and I am attached to the Lord's feet. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji praises and thinks and worships the nine Gurus before him as we see in Bachittar Natak as stated in our Khalsa Panth daily ardas; from Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji to Sri Guru Teg Bahadur ji. -

Bachittar Natak tells us for all the yugs there is only one Satguru. Vishnu and his incarnations were never satguru and they came in previous yugs(ages). -

Bachittar Natak has said who is Satguru and we say their names everyday in the Khalsa Panth ardas(Sri Guru Nanak dev ji to Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji). Only satguru can grant mukhti and they have been disclosed to the world by Vaheguru. Also anyone following satguru teachings would run to take amrit. The Gursikhs love the satguru's hukam. Anyone in the past who has received mukhti as received it by Satguru. Gurbani clearly says this. To the people learning. Start reading from Raag Nat Naaraayan and keep reading. A lot is revealed on this topic by satguru. I am currently reading Raag Maaroo and if more is revealed by satguru I will provide direct quotes. -

Yup, and any person claiming to do sehaj paath would have came across the Gurbani Shabads that clearly state this. These Shabads also tell the person listening, follow the hukam of Vaheguru and be content with it. Vaheguru hukam is to take Amrit from the Punj Pyare. Yet a person who is doing sehaj paath finds this hukam to be sour. Too bad his reading is only in pride. As satguru says, he makes the deserved souls understand and others are lead away by Vaheguru deeper into Maya. Its not in our ability to make these guys understand. All we can do is point to the source. -

Transgender may take Amrit from the Punj Pyare. Punj Pyare can tell them if they are Singh or kaur. Warroirs Buddha Dal and Hazoori singhs have not fought any war for several decades. Only reason these guys have not been eliminated by the Indian government is because they are under the control of the Indian government through their leaders selling their souls. They claim to be Nihangs but the real Nihang Singh left his house to protect Sri Harmandir sahib in a moments notice. He fought without his head and showed what Nihang are made of. Buddha Dal and Hazoori singhs helped the very government that attacked Sri Akal Takht sahib in 1984 because they were power hungry. Such pathetic people will never be respected. They are playing dress up and nothing more. The Khalsa give women khande batte da Amrit. This is what Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji did and that's what his Singhs, Punj Pyare will do. -

what does your hair cutting have to do with this topic? Unless you are saying you are a better match for jagmeet Singh fiance since both of you cut hair. Then I fully agree with you. This public news of who is his wife is what an amritdhari shall not do. This is what people have written about and for some reason you are very bothered by Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji teaching. This actually lowers the status of Singhs. Jagmeet Singh pick for a fiance is a disgrace on Singhs image. Now we will have people saying, look even the amritdhari singhs want women with hair cuts and dress promiscuously. This being one reason we will strongly condemn his act. Since Jagmeet Singh is in politics. He should be called to Sri Akal Takht sahib to answer for his mistake. Parcharaks actions are highlighted and some are called to Sri Akal Takht sahib for their mistakes. In the same way Jagmeet Singh should be summoned before Sri Akal Takht sahib for his mistake.

Ang 262 There are some Sikhs who don't believe the soul travels through any other life. However the above line from Sukhmani sahib is telling us if a person does simran of Akal Purakh they won't come in the womb again. The word "again" is being added in the interpretation because we came into this world through the mother's womb as a human already. Now Sukhmani sahib is saying to prevent from coming again we need to do his simran (remember Akal Purakh). Some Sikhs will play with the word ąØąØ°ąØąØæ (which means womb) and say we won't reside in the world if we do his simran. Such an analogy does not work because we reside in the world whether we do his simran or not. A jivan mukht person reside on earth till its time to leave the world. Similarly replacing the word womb with mind. The person resides in the mind by thought whether we do his simran or not. A jivan mukht person resides in the mind to fulfill the worldly duties as was shown by Bhagat Dhanna Jatt ji who asked for a good wife and cow after being jivan mukht. The analogies don't work and this bothers some Sikhs very much. They are stuck with their belief system. Sukhmani sahib says remember him and the mind will be soothed to accept what Gurbani says. Gurbani tells us what to do and also gives us facts on how Vaheguru runs his creation.

Singh you real need to read the English translations of Gurbani. Your eyes will open up to what it is called to live. Singhs around you don't live better lives. Instead of watching t.v. YouTube and movies the singhs focus on reading, singing, contemplating on Gurbani and doing seva when they have time away from working and family life. They are in a high spirited state of mind because they read Gurbani with the thirst to sing his praise more. Singing his praise brings the mind to a calming state. Today we are fed to much information where the news is constantly in your face with bad news. For the first couple of months turn off the news and constant social media feeds. They don't do us any good. They bring out anger, sadness, lust, and other negative emotions. The news is made to get these negative reactions, so we spread the word and they get more hits and subscribers. The world has been suffering from many different diseases since it was created. We can't fix the worlds problems and neither can any amount of worrying about a far distant problem be helpful for the current state your mind is in. Relax the mind by reading Gurbani. Listen to Akal Purakh praise with the phones we carry on ourselves as a little child would not let go of their teddy bear even for a second. Go to sleep early and wake up at amritvela to sing his praise. The western world attitude staying up many hours after sunset has a negative affect on the mind. If you are dealing with depression, anxiety, concentration issues or any other mental issue. Go see a professional. Get your vitamin levels checked out. You make have low iron and vitamin D. Both are very important to how much energy you have to function on a daily basis. Many punjabis have low iron and don't get enough vitamin D so they suffer from low moods and low energy. This results in feeling depressed and sad.

They will discuss with you what are your options and explain how to go about it. Death threats from gangs are taken very seriously in Canada because threats have actually lead to murders. What will we use to control the five vices? There is nothing that we have to control them. If you think we have Gurbani. That is a wrong thought because Gurbani does kirpa on those who let go of "we can control" and "you can control them" or "I can control them". Satguru controls them and kills them. The heat of these cool down when we realization there is no we, you, or I and only him through accepting Guru Sahib as our protector and guide only. Gurbani says you can shut off the world but the 5 vices will still control you. Buddha tried to control them and he failed miserably every time. Gurbani says, go to the Guru and accept his teachings and the mind will be soothed. Killing them would render anyone to live as a gurmukh. The Gurus and bhagats had killed the 5 vices. Yet they still functioned.

The thing is you are trying to remember and give it genuine attempts. The people I am referring to do not even think to remember Gurbani. There is a huge difference between you and the people I was addressing. You can increase your memory by taking it slow. Remember one pauri of japji sahib every couple of days. It helps if you can write out the pauri off by memory. Write it many times until you know it. Then move forward to the next pauri. It also helps to know what each pauri is saying. You can make sense of it and your mind will find it easier to find the correct word in each tuk. Do ardas that Guru Sahib will bless you with the ability to remember Gurbani.

It's true. If you love the Guru and want his blessing, you would remember his Bani. You would want to remember his praise even more. As a husband or wife remember the qualities and words of their spouse. Why can't Sikhs remember his Bani because their is no desire to feel, hear, and see the Guru. How come many people can remember manmat music after a simple listen because they are deeply attached to maya.

Jagmeet Singh is engaged to a nonamritdhari. He displayed this information for everyone to see. His fiance also displayed this for everyone to see. Its a not a rumour. This is factual. Based on this information the sangat has been presented with what the Guru's teachings are on his choice for a marriage partner. There is no judgement made here. Instead you are distorting others writing here to push your opinion on others who disagree. Its called doing chugli. You also seem upset by the Guru's teachings being presented here. Do you want to tell us why, so the doubt you have in the Guru may be cleared.

Do you have any Gurbani shabad that will support your view point? Pain is the ego; I exist as a separate entity from Akal Purakh. Such duality will never come in the Guru. "I" does not exist, so what pain is even felt to experience and then produce compassion for others? The Gurus never had ego in them. They are the truth. Take a different feeling like sadness. The Gurus were never sad for they fully understood Vaheguru's hukam and were the hukam and Vaheguru. They did not have an intellect like a human. They took the human mind to the highest realm of sachkhand. Sachkhand state has no pain or sadness.

A amritdhari in this case jagmeet Singh always has loyalty to Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji before anyone else in this world. So politically jagmeet Singh holds his loyalty to rehat before any political agenda in Canada or party. He stood strong and ties a dastar, wears his kakkar and sticks up for Sikhs. Now coming to the topic at hand. Jagmeet Singh engaged to a girl who is not amritdhari. Taksal, sant Maskeen Singh ji katha, and Hazoori rehat were brought up to promote jagmeet Singh decision to be okay with Sikhi. This miserably failed because the first two didn't apply and the last point was shown to be manmat. Now it has come to, you can't get between jagmeet Singh and his fiance and the Guru. The Guru has spoken on who a amritdhari is to marry. The Sangat has took this advise and applied it to jagmeet singh's choice. The choice is wrong. The sangat pointing this out has bothered many people. Gursikhs and sikhs love to hear the rehat of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji. They praise the rehat but here the sangat who expresses the rehat are being subject to nindiya and chugli. This truly speaks to the mindset of these people. These people are not satisfied with the Guru's rehat. Gurbani says to be content with the Guru's teachings. Jagmeet Singh falling in love with a non amritdhari girl is like getting drunk on Fridays and going to the Gurdwara on Saturday night with kakkar and Bana. Alcohol has its benefits like rubbing alcohol for clean wounds. However you wouldn't take that alcohol and drink it to poison the mind as Gurbani warns us against. Hence the sangat, jagmeet singh future wife who is engrossed in maya (her character is displayed on social media for all to see) and will be spending a lot of time with is not approved by Gurbani. In passing we meet many people in the world who are engrossed in maya. Simple conversations are had and we move on. We don't force our views on them. If they ask about Sikh, we are more than happy to explain. Jagmeet Singh has made a huge mistake on selecting a nonamritdhari for a marriage partner. He should have followed his Guru's teachings on such a big decision in life. I hope the youth don't see this choice and make it as something they want to do as well. Instead the youth should look to the Guru and don't be fooled by the false show of isolated links and messages many people place all over the internet. There is a lot of false information being presented.
