  1. Is it refreshing for you to hear how Trump plans to kill innocent Muslim women and children? This is beyond blunt, it is being a terrorist. Trump says other countries are stealing jobs away from Americans. Fact is Trump uses other countries labor to cut cost himself. Basically, he is saying.....I can do whatever, but others will do as I say. Look at his unethical and criminal acts of going bankrupt 4 times just to avoid taxes. If he had paid the taxes these proceeds could have went toward the veterans. Yet he claims the promblem is the illegal Mexican who makes less than 20g a year. How much tax can you collect from a person who makes 20g a year? If he was for the people, then he would not be against universal healthcare. This is the biggest misconception Trump repeats......he does not need political donors. Yet in the past, he repeats to support (pay outs to them) political parties just so he can increase his fortunes. He has everything to lose. Say he wins, the following year without anyone doubt he will lose because he doesn't have the knowledge to run a country. He will be worse than Bush. So when he is out of power he will need political parties to run his businesses as he does today. Say he loses, then he will go back to begging as he does today. He begs at the doors of republicans and democrats. Do your research. Trump in the 80s didn't even want to see black people working in his hotels when he was there. Those who are politically correct have a reputation to look after, so they will help minorities. Trump has already showed us he is a bigot and will stop at nothing to hurt minorities. He has nothing to lose in the sense of his reputation.
  2. Did anyone else see a hint of promoting Hindu thought by the person in the video is sitting and holding mudra poses. This is a clear distortion of what Satnaam Vaheguru's understanding is. Through Gurbani Gurmat teaches satnaam vaheguru teaches against mudras. This clearly shows the person who added the video to Satnaam Vaheguru has a distorted understanding of Satnaam Vaheguru.
  3. This is what you call pure paranoia. This poster perfectly represents majority of Trump supporters. He see's the word Turk and automatically associates to Muslims. This is pure hatred for anyone who in a far fetched way will be associated with Muslims by the Trump supporters. This is the same poster who supports Trump's idea of killing innocent Muslim children and women as was discovered on this site in a different thread. Here is a video where The Young Turks are speaking on Muslims trying to impose their beliefs on the American Constitution and American Corporations. After watching the video you will see why I said the above
  4. I believe you are sending out conflicting statements. Above you say, you don't like the whole post, but a few post down you say this: Can you please clear up this confusion. Does Harsharan only speak about Vaheguru or do you only like partially his post because he insults others?
  5. Simran, you speak the truth. So how come you liked a post of Harsharan where he calls me a mad dog who will give rabies to others on this forum, if I am not banned from the site. I see no honesty here. I see a one sided attack on me. You posted many Gurbani kirtan shabads on this topic. Can you please point to me where in those shabads it says to favor a person who insults another?
  6. If we were to accept everything has his will than the flower, grass, and trees are all our Gurus and the greatest Sikhs of all time. The flower takes everything Akal Purakh does to it, yet where is mukhti for all the flowers in the world? The animals pick at it, some animals eat it. The wind blows it around and the rain strikes it with force. Some step on it and destroy it. If we were instructed to be flowers, then out of the womb everyone human being would be jivan mukht. It all depends on what your intentions are behind what you are asking for. Sant Jarnail Singh ji Khalsa explained Vaheguru's Hukam very well. A swami asked Sant ji what will you do if a person was going to burn a baby before your eyes? Sant ji, replies by saying I will save that baby from being burnt. The Swami adds some conditions. What if someone is holding you and you can't get to the child? Sant ji replies by saying I will try with all my strength to break the hold and save the child. Sant ji says, only when I can't do anything to save the child from being burnt alive will I accept the child being burnt alive as Vaheguru's hukam. If the flower had the ability to move when a person was about to step on it. It will move and strike the person for trying to step on it. Sant ji was explaining to the Swami how Vaheguru has given everyone a certain amount of abilities. Some have more and some have less, whatever the case. The key is to try your hardest by following the virtues of Gurmat. Our only strength is Vaheguru. Punj Pyare say nitnem Banis are like our breath. As we can't be alive without breathing, so can't we live without nitnem. How many times do the Gurus tell us to do ardas in our nitnem? Ask for help from Vaheguru is a humility act in itself. It's telling the mind how it cannot achieve all and the source of life (Akal Purakh) is needed the most. The gifts in the house of Vaheguru will never run out. So ask for his help every second of your day. There is no scale where you will owe Vaheguru back. By following Gurbani you will present yourself to Vaheguru and the gifts Vaheguru gives will only increase.
  7. This has no basis in Sikhi and it's assessment of how the person (soul) controls when he leaves or comes out of reincarnation is against the principles of Sikhi. Vaheguru controls when a person comes and goes. The command is in Vaheguru's hand. Such links only take a person away from Vaheguru. The law/relationship between soul and Vaheguru is demostrated in Gurbani. Please move people forward by providing Shabads of Gurbani on such topics.
  8. You come to a conclusion....Sant are celibate therefore they reach a higher stage.........yet you provide no evidence to show Sant's who were or are celibate are at higher stage (holier) according to Gurbani. You first have to prove celibacy by Gurbani standards is higher in spirituality than a householder and then prove a Sant who is celibate is higher than a householder Sant. You have not provided one piece of evidence. Let's remind you, Bhagat Dhanna Jatt ji actually asked for a wife through Gurbani. Listen to Aarti and the Shabad is sung everyday. Bhagat ji wanted to live a householder lifestyle. If living a householder lifestyle was lower according to Gurbani, Bhagat ji would not have asked for a wife from Akal Purakh. No where in Gurbani does Guru Sahib say celibacy is the highest stage. The people who believe in the vedas actually say celibacy is the highest stage. Guru Sahib, whether talking to a celibate person or householder says to focus on Naam, take the Guru's guidance and make Naam your life. State of liberation is not reserved for anyone special like you say for celibate Sants. Sri Anand Sahib says to all Sikhs, come Sikhs and sing Satguru's Bani. The instructions are for everyone, including Sants and Bhagats. Everyone is under the order of Satguru. Those who follow his order receive his blessing. You nitpick at Anand Sahib da paath. First you quote the ninth pauri. If Sant here meant Sant in the form of one person who has reached the state of Sant (conquered mind) and not calling the collective sangat Sant. Then why latter on in the pauri is the Guru instructing the Sant to conquer his mind by giving his body, mind and wealth to Guru Sahib? Sants already follow the Hukam of Akal Purakh, yet Guru Sahib is instructing Sants to follow his order???
  9. How many cases on here alone have surfaced where a father, married uncle, cousin was molesting a child? This is stranger danger all over again. The western community has learned it's lesson from "stranger danger" and found out the person most likely to molest a child is one who is a relative. This is very true in the Punjabi community, since more research is coming out. Many young adults and teens are coming out with the truth of how they were molested as a child and 99% of the time it's by a married uncle or heterosexual cousin or close family relative who is married. And for the parcharaks, majority are married and who have molested children. Most recent adultery case was against Shivteg Singh of the missionary group who is also married. Look at Dateline NBC. The people they bust are married or heterosexual males wanting to molest young girls who are around 13 years old. The views the poster has posted above is very prevalent in the missionary community. They live in denial of how heterosexual married people cannot molest children or behave like homosexuals Stats are saying exactly the opposite. Its the married folk molesting your children and showing homosexual tendency through raping young boys. Lastly the missionary cults hate Sikh Saints (Sants). It's like someone programmed them to have pure hate toward them. So to defame them, they say these disgusting things about them, which are true only in a small number of case. Yet we have this clear cut knowledge pointing to how its the married uncle or father who is molesting children. I know this post is off track, but this misconception has to be rooted out of the younger generation minds for their own safety.
  10. Nowhere in Chaupai Sahib, including the Gurbani above, which is part of Chaupai Sahib does it say devta or devis were mythical. Looking at the english translation you provided the words understand, mysteries does not even come in Gurmukhi. Since you brought Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Bani. Look at Krishna Avatar, show me where Guru Sahib said Krishna was mythical. No where does Guru Sahib say Krishna was mythical. Guru Sahib actually corrected the story of Krishna as where the Hindus were telling lies about who Krishna was. In Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, Guru Sahib says Indra and Brahma was saved. By the Guru's Shabad many Saints have swam across (have been saved). Indra and Brahma have also been saved by the Guru's Shabad. ਸਨਕ ਸਨੰਦਨ ਤਪਸੀ ਜਨ ਕੇਤੇ ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਪਾਰਿ ਪਰੇ ॥੧॥ Sanak, Sanadan, and many Bhagats by Guru Grace have been carried across to the other side. ਭਵਜਲੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਬਦੈ ਕਿਉ ਤਰੀਐ ॥ How can creation be saved without the Shabad Guru? Without Naam the world is attached to the disease (ego, greed, lust, worldly attachments, anger). In doubt they drown and drown till they die. Pause. ang 1125 When looking at the whole picture of Devta and Devis. They have a long history of doing wrong and electing themselves as the Supreme Being. Guru Sahib through Gurbani tells us they were fallible and neither were they the Supreme Being (Akal Purakh). Reading Chandi Di Vaar, Indra was chased out of his kingdom by the demons. Then look who Indra went to for help!! Did he call upon Vaheguru? No! he went to the door of Chandi, another fallible person for help. Listen carefully to Bachhittar Natak, who does Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji call upon to give him the right to come down and rule as the Tenth Guru. Guru Sahib asked and received from Vaheguru. Why deny Devta and Devi ever existed, when the Sikh Gurus say they did exist at one point in time. Instruct Sikhs to follow the above Gurbani and no one will fall at the feet of Brahma, Indra or any other Devta or Devi.
  11. Where in Gurbani does it say they (devta and Devi's) were mythical creatures?
  12. Which ang do you find the advice for you first three sentences? This line is basically saying, if you get married (not stay celibate) you are not completely devoted to Guru ji. I guess Sant Jarnail Singh ji Khalsa was not completely devoted to Guru ji. Also Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji was not completely devoted to Guru ji because he did not stay celibate and was married. So by your standards the order was to live a householder lifestyle until the 5 vices are gone, but then what happens? Do you become celibate after the 5 vices are gone? Do you leave your family and join the Baba at the Nanaksar deras? The perfect examples of two Sants who lived together yet took on different roles of the last several decades was Sant Baba Thakur Singh ji Khalsa and Sant Jarnail Singh ji Khalsa. The former was celibate, but adopted his children and gave his life in service. The latter did the same, but was married and had two children of his own. There is no special spiritual or religious place for celibate people. Its all made up to fool the local sangats to give their money.
  13. Point out for me, how I was not polite in my post and how I dragged another person (who I assume you are referring to Harsharan) down.
  14. His whole post is wrapped with reference to Akal Purakh giving. Poster Harsharan, is referring to Akal Purakh as taking on a worldly (in maya) fathers characteristics in the paragraph I highlighted in my last post by quoting it separately. Look at how the whole post flows from start to finish. Poster Harsharan gave Vaheguru a fatherly role according to his understanding, how Vaheguru will act if a son did so and so. What I was pointing out was, how Vaheguru does not take on a worldly father's characteristics due to what Guru Sahib has said in Japji Sahib. When Guru Sahib takes on the role as a father, he does not so by the personality of a worldly father. Vaheguru takes on the role as a husband as well in Gurbani, but never does hi by taking on a worldly husband's characteristics. My next paragraph spoke of how Vaheguru through Guru Sahib grace gave Bhagat Dhanna Jatt ji worldly items after Bhagat ji asked for them. This asking and receiving is approved as Gurbani. These Shabads come in Aarti. I honestly believe he is purposely ignoring them because they show a total picture of Gurbani which does not match with his views on how Vaheguru gives and how his Gursikhs ask. In the post he writes a response, he viciously attacks me, which you have liked. So let me ask you, do you think it is alright to insult a person in the way he insulted me? I did not provoke him or say anything to insult him. In the past I have made mistakes, but I know it was wrong as I have learned from my mistakes. You have said to me not to insult others. Yet you praise the very post he insults me.
  15. Sri Dasam Granth Sahib ji is supreme. Chandi Di Vaar is amazing and holds the essence to lift the listener out of maya and deliver them to Vaheguru. This is the Bani of the saint and the soldier. A Sikh's Guru is Satguru's Bani. Gurbani from Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji says Satguru's Bani is Guru. To limit Satguru's Bani is one of the biggest mistakes made in ignorance. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji tells the true story of the devta and devis and so does Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Read Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and find out who saved Shiva. If Shiva was a mythological figure than who did the Guru save?
  16. Anyone see the dangers of writing like the above poster or maybe he copied and pasted it from someone else? Whatever the case, this kind of writing increases hankar (ego). It would be different if a person was trying to explain a concept from Gurbani after studying Gurbani on the topic extensively. But the above is not the case. The writer makes the easiest mistake. The writer says: Japji Sahib does not agree with this statement at all. Japji Sahib says Vaheguru gives without asking. Vaheguru not liking to give!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????? Gursikh is a person who has the mind attuned to Gurbani. Gursikhs leave the mind's desire to feel spiritually uplifted and show others how much they think they know on spirituality behind and attach themselves to the Shabad Guru. A Sikh learns from the Guru and does not boost over what the mind thinks is spiritual. The Guru defines spirituality not the mind of an average person. Guru Sahib does not tell us to stop from asking. Bhagat Dhanna Jatt ji asked for worldly items in Gurbani to use them as tools and not be the end all goal for the items. The idea is to ask for items, but know the focus of life is to follow the Guru's teachings. If I ask for millions of dollars today that does not make me a manmukh. My intention behind the millions of dollars can make it fruitful or a hindrance to achieve Vaheguru. Asking for a son is not a sin or wrong. We, Sikhs have been corrupted by the spiritually unwise and their shortsightedness has lead much of the Sikh population astray. They have become rigid and deal in good and bad, much like the simritees and shastras. They use Gurbani as a fault finding book in those who they don't like because a certain person doesn't prescribe to their professor's beliefs. Focus on Gurbani and leave the mind behind.
  17. You no nothing of history. If the British had high moral according to you. Then why were their women only given equal right in the 1920s? The history of the British is painted in blood. They killed first and asked questions later. They, much like the Muslims, raped other lands for their benefits. The British committed a a genocide on the Native Indians of Northern America. Till this day the Native Indians are being oppressed by the governments of Canada and USA. I know you rely on your grade 8 social studies class as the end all and be all of facts. But the books only paint a pretty picture of the British, who only killed turkeys on thanksgiving to feed the Native Indians.....they are such nice people. They don't tell you how ethnic cleanse actually happened. Tribes were unable to speak their language, unable to practice their culture, children stripped away from their parents and sent off to boarding schools where they were never allowed to see their parents and were given a completely different way of life. Those kids, mothers, fathers, who refused to change were tortured, killed, and women were rapped. They were rapped to destroy them mentally and change the gene pool. People were not killed with bombs shot from 100 miles away. These killings were up close and personal. Slaughter a whole village takes some kind of animal instinct. No compassionate human would slaughter innocent men, women, and children. Yet, the British committed these crimes against the North American Native Indian. It is not far fetched for the British to take a prize from his slaughter. The culture of those times permitted endorsed this kind of stuff. Today the British were gold ribbons on their uniform to say what the soldier has accomplished and back then it was things taken from those who they slaughtered. Native Indians wore animal teeth around their neck as a show of what beastly animal they were able to kill. Some Singhs did similar things when they went hunting. Only difference here is the British did this showmanship after they slaughtered innocent humans. You can make a stink of history all you want, but the truth is, British is known to many and they don't rely on grade 8 social studies course as the be all and end all of history.
  18. Where in Guru Sahib's writing does Guru Sahib say Khalsa Raj will be another government on this planet? You don't have an understanding of what Khalsa Raj is and you have wrapped your jaded views to it. Khalsa Raj will rule over every soul as Guru Sahib has said.
  19. I think your poster name says more about your intentions than your post....WallaWallaBingBong.. You have no true intentions of discussing Khalsa Raj, but only want to put doubts in others minds of establishing a Khalsa Raj. Fire up a topic, only to hurt the panth and watch Sikhs fight among themselves about a topic Guru Sahib has already spoken about and said what will occur. Guru Sahib said Khalsa Raj will happen and it will occur on Vaheguru's terms, not yours or anyone else's. The state of the Khalsa Panth is not a reflection on how and when the Khalsa Raj will occur. If it were, then Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji would have never been able to come on this earth as people were deeply burning in maya. How did Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji get people to change when people were deeply immersed in maya? Some people believe in themselves and some believe in others to accomplish things. Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji left it up to Vaheguru and Sikhi came to be formed. Guru Sahib didn't use a ounce of power. Yet, here you are using all your strength to fight against Khalsa Raj. It is your own inner shortcomings preventing you from seeing the bigger picture. You have no clue what Khalsa Raj is. The world's weight is rest in the shoulders of the Khalsa. By Khalsa, Guru Sahib doesn't mean doctors and professors of secular knowledge, yet these people write themselves off as Sikh doctors or professors. Neither does Guru Sahib mean the secular folks, who give their time toward helping others and party hard on Friday and Saturday. Neither does Guru Sahib mean the people who dress as Sikhs for pictures and those who have no intention of following Sikhi and say...Sikhi is about the inside...
  20. Are people trying to justify the British oppressing others by the sword? If so, then ISIS conquering Iraq is justified. Hitler trying to conquer the world is justified. And god forbid this happens, but when a person enters your house and takes your life is justified. These people have gone back to primal instincts....can't beat the enemy, join them as their slave. All this talk about jewels and who took it by honor is a cover up for inferiority. You glorify Maharaja Ranjit Singh as the perfect Sikh and turn around with your british accent and call him one of us, who stole a jewel wrongfully. From a Sikh perspective Maharaja Ranjit Singh is not a perfect example of a Sikh, yet he was a man with good and bad qualities. Only for you the british are the perfect example of ethical, moral, humane army and leaders. But in reality they have raped, looted, and oppressed others in lands they had no right to enter. The british were no different than Muslims like ISIS.
  21. I think it's better to compare the naamaz to nitnem and see if there is any similarities and what are the differences. Naamaz enforces the ideology of Mohammad. Gurbani doesn't support Mohammad's ideology. Would these two people sit together after the Sikh explains the nitnem line by line to the Muslim? In this case ignorance is bliss. Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji explained Gurbani to the Muslims and some choose to listen and follow and others left very angry toward the Guru. Interfaith dialogue is not known to western world. Being a Ram Rai or shying away from shabads that directly criticize islam/Mohammaf/muslims is not interfaith according to Guru Sahib's teachings.
  22. First you wanted to define a Sehajdhari and now you want to go off topic of defining a Sehajdhari and speak of how they are or are not treated. In your first post you defined Sehajdharis as Sikhs. In this post you saying sehajdharis are not to be treated as dedicated. Are you implying Sikhs are not required to be dedicated toward the Guru? If so, define for all, what it means to be a Sikh. Plus make up your mind of how you want to approach this topic (theory or subjective) and maybe you will be able to define what a sehajdhari is. When defining both one method has to be used, either be objective for amritdharis and sehajdharis or be subjective for both. Don't be a Dhunda.
  23. Your definition of a Sehajdhari also incorporates Amritdharis. Amritdharis are also trying to follow the teachings of Sikhi. If you say Amritdharis have accepted to follow the ethos by taking Amrit. A sehajdhari has not and a Sehajdhari can't be called a Sikh because he or she has not accepted Guru Sahib as their Guru. If a Sehajdhari accepts Guru Sahib as his Guru. Then this sehajdhari is a Sikh because he or she is attempting to follow his Guru's ethos. Sehajdhari, may be defined as people on the fence of whether to accept Guru Sahib as their Guru.
  24. Bhagat Ravi Das ji has some perfect advise for her. On ang 659 Bhagat ji says the following: ba(n)kae baal paag sir ddaeree || You make your hair beautiful, and wear a stylish turban on your head. iehu qnu hoiego Bsm kI FyrI ]3] eihu than hoeigo bhasam kee dtaeree ||3|| But in the end, this body shall be reduced to a pile of ashes. ||3|| More advise comes from Sri Guru Arun Dev ji, where he says by wearing a turban on your head a person does not become saabath Soorath. Become totally aware of the maya you indulge in and step out of it. She believes to be practicing religion, like the Muslims Sri Guru Arjun Dev ji is analyzing, but she is practicing falsehood in the disguise of religion. The Gurus with the true teachings of Shabad Guru made the body a true symbol of Akal Purakh. They utilized it to spread Gurmat. Fashion has always been a part of society, yet our Gurus and Gursikhs never indulged in it. If she wants to follow in the foot steps of the Gurus. Then go to France and wear the dastar in the government buildings and schools with all the virtues of Gurmat like contentment, compassion, and standing up for equality. What statement is she trying to make in a country where the dastar is not outlawed and dressing inappropriately? I think this is an attempt at begging for attention by wearing inappropriate clothing. Here ego has flared up and wants to be recognized regardless of the mistakes she is clearly making according to Sikhi. There is no honor in what she is doing. Sikhi does not tell us to indulge in maya to teach what you think is religion. Sikhi starts with honesty and ends with honesty.
