  1. But they changed the cities name back to what it was originally called before the Mughals decided to rename it as allahabad. good for them to change it back, its about time! mughals disappeared a long time back and so should everything they left behind. no? .... Mughals were the racist ones for changing the original indian names of the cities into ugly arabic names. They marked one of the darkest periods of history in south asia, everything to do with them should be changed/removed
  2. I think your crossing the line now, don't say stuff like that..
  3. conservation of guru jis chola which the 52 princes held when guru sahib walked out of gwalior fort
  4. same tegha which was used to behead Painda Khan in battle
  5. Yeah i think this is the main reason. Because Hinduism is a collection of different beliefs there is no structure. I think Hinduism would of done a lot better as several individual beliefs with their own rules and maryada(like it had been for 1000s of years) rather than it all being shoved under one title, which in result has created something very confusing. Yeah gujaratis are a really tight knit community , iv been around the gujaratis in east london and they really are very supportive of one another. They have a strong identity too. they like their dandiya too lol Hinduism in the UK is more of a culture i think than a actual belief system Iv read parts of the upanishads and it mentions how meditating on gods name is the way to salvation. simran on gods name seems to be a very important concept in the ancient hindu texts but i have a feeling that its not part of hindu practice any more, i guess idol worship took over at some point and became the main form of worship
  6. Wow its such a old post! i was a 15 year old kid when this was posted haha. I hope this guy became a sikh ... i never have nice dreams! its been a while since i had one, but a lot of the time when i have dreams i am lost, scared and anxious! i am trapped in a small room, or im lost in a building trying to find the exit, or there is water everywhere around me, or im running away from something! i have these types of dreams and wake up really anxious. sometimes i have dreams of people shouting at me or me getting blamed for sometime i didn't do. then sometimes i have very abstract dreams, like of random shapes and colors lol really weird... I don't think iv every had a dream with sikhi in it ...
  7. I think she enjoys it, she looks happy and healthy ...
  8. Yeah your right they identify more with their culture than religion. Punjabi Hindus in UK are not religious at all, some of them almost come across as confused in a way. The Gujaratis i know are proud Gujaratis but not religious. Its very true, its not common to come across a religious young Hindu in the UK. I think "Hinduism" is now becoming a culture rather than a belief, i think that's whats gnna happen in the future. I think its because Hinduism is not exactly a organized religion, for example today there is no maryada, code of conduct in their daily lives. I know back in the days they had the manusmritis etc but i don't think anyone follows that kind of stuff in the UK. For a religion to sustain in needs law and order. Hinduism, without a doubt once was a great religion, but today its sadly been reduced to pouring milk over idols. Thats why its very important that Sikhs stand up against all those "sikhs" who are trying to change maryada and introducing pathetic ideas like "interfaith anand karaj" maryada draws the lines and tells us when to stop, without it we are all over the place and without identity. I don't know much about Hinduism but its just something i observed. Growing up as a young teenager back in 2004,5,6 etc young Sikhs identified more with Punjabi identity than they did with sikhi, but in the last few years there has been a big change and shift towards Sikhi. Sikh kids these days know a lot more about sikhi than what we knew when we were kids. perhaps something similar will happen with young hindus?
  9. Her father jawarla lal nehru was from a kashmir pandit family. That's why a lot of people called him pandit. They look like Kashmiri hindus anyway. In a gathering to mark the shaheedi of guru tegh bahadur ji a huge event was held in Delhi with indira Ghandi present on stage. When she came on everyone stood up for her apart from sant kartar singh ji bhindranwale, when his turn came to make a speech, front of hundreds he said to indira that if it wasn't for guru tegh bahadur ji she would be wearing a burkha today. That's the difference between our leaders of the past and the current ones. That's why the central government didn't like them because they spoke the truth without fear.
  10. I think in the next few years Hinduism is gonna change. Tbh i cant remember the last time I met a young religious hindu in the UK. The ones born in India are religious though ...
  11. This bebe from a pind makes everything! cakes, pizza, pasta, jalebi, samosa everything, and massive portions of it too lol at the end they give the food to the poor children. i really wanna try and make some jalebis lol
  12. I used to work in a massive retail store on Oxford street with over a 100 people working there, and this paki girl got caught giving this Jamaican guy a bl0w j0b in the stock room, the security guys caught her on the cctv cameras. 3 weeks later she was promoted and became supervisor hahaha! There are trashy women in every community, but Muslims have this weird delusion that all their women are saints and all kafir women are of loose morals, oh how deluded they are lol
  13. The ones that wear hijab and several layers of white makeup are the worst ones haha! No lie it's only around three weeks ago that I was asked out by this hijab wearing paki girl at my work! I was shocked! Not that I haven't been asked out by paki girls before but that's back when I was mona. Now I wear patka and did not expect a hijab wearing paki to ask me out. It started of with her coming up to me and telling me that i have the most enchanting smile ever lol She didn't stop after I refused and then started getting other colleagues to ask me for her Lol I didn't do anything, I never led her on, waheguru knows, I just be myself... I actually felt sorry for her, that girl clearly is lost. In fact a lot of girls are lost these days, you can see how guys take advantage of girls so easily, they are so gullible.
  14. I think that's so the snow slides off and doesn't sit on top
  15. A bit odd how he had sex with her before marriage and stopped after marriage. Normally it's the other way round isn't it. It's got nothing to do with culture. I'm not married but what iv heard from newly wed Asian couples is they can't get enough of it hahaha! This lady clearly wants some and he aint giving it. He must have some issues I'm guessing. Its got nothing to do with our culture.
  16. Really beautiful kirtan and shabad I'm not sure which guru or bhagat this was written by ? It's very beautiful

Yeah they should approve your account. Don't know what their doing.
  18. She was the daughter of a Kashmiri pandit, the very people that our guru gave his head for, and in return she carried out a military attack on the guru's house who saved her people. How did she think she would ever justify betrayal of that sort in God's court.

It's very very important that we remember how some Hindus tried distorting sikhi, it's part if our history, and history is to learn and revise so we don't repeat the same mistakes. Mughals straight up didn't like us and neither did they even attempt to hide their hatred, that's one type of enemy. The Brahmins on the other hand played it sly and gained our trust before they back stabbed us. They also attempted many times to alter sikhi and guru granth sahib ji, that's why the puratan guru granth sahib ji have no gaps between the words, so it made it harder for others who wanted to distort bani to change it, that's the other type of enemy. Our ithias has told us that there are 2 types of enemies and that's something we should NEVER forget. But lets not accuse all Hindus and Brahmins of being evil, corrupt, etc that's wrong. Sikhs and Hindus have had a good relationship for centuries, why spoil it?

But why are you speaking to him like that? What has he said or done to you? Even if he is a troll why you making your mouth dirty? Guru arjan dev ji said mitt bolra ji har sajjan swami mora. So speak nice words. And why you keep insulting Hindus lol. There are over a billion Hindus. What did all billion people ever do to you? What did nepali, Sri Lankan, Balinese etc Hindus ever do to sikhs? What about the south indian Hindus and the dalits? What did they ever do to sikhs? And you do realize Jagdish Tytlor is a Christian.
