    Dasam Granth Bani?

What about that sakhi that talked about when a girl tried to talk with Guru Gobind Singh ji , but wasn't successfull in "trapping" him, and then she becmae a sadhu (pundit, etc) to gain interest as she would be tlaked to for being so spiritual, etc and then Guru ji , found out and i guess that was one expeirene that lead to writing wiles of women? i have no idea, just asking khalsa fauj and khalistani to clear things up.

    Roop Singh's Mustash

I agree with Khalsa_Girl_1 and what do you know ti? It's coming from a girl. Good to see girls exist who can put front the faults of their own community, compared to girls like Lowest who supports girls who go towards muslim men in retaliation to "No one helps me, i hate the sikh kaum for not helping me"
  3. umm maybe u guys wanna just keep it to "marriage" stories and/or how u met ur marriage partner... discussing meeting ur gf, etc which u are refering to by asking " how you all met the person you're with right now, whether you're married, engaged, or in a relationship" might cause problems.
  4. lol the stories sound funny.. i can't imagine guru ji saying that stuff it made me chuckle... "But guru ji" LOL man you guys need to put it in a better way and not some way that it makes it sound like a joke.
  5. I have feeling this post will close soon. Read over this whole thread, we talk about how there is fighting at gurdwaras and how sikhs cannot live without a fight. And there is a fight in this very thread. Firstly, Many people here don't know the real issue. A friend who lives in Brampton, told me everything that happened as he was their. He also went to most of the meetings after the event. Someone here was making a broad statement of how Sikhs are just sheep in lion clothing.. To that person who said that...If you consider yourself a sikh, you are the one in sheep clothing not others. When you realize someone is doing beadbi, and you take action, In today's kaljug ,even those people are looked down upon ... "Why couldnt u do it peacefully". THose people are the one described by Sant Jarnail SIngh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale as peopl who drink their cup of cha and sit on a chair and talk talk talk talk. There were lots of people back in that time who were teh same and just talked but did nothing. Even though this is only a forum, I cannot stress one thing enough "Before pointing fingers at others, look deep within yourself" Those who say these people are idiots, Tell me last time you did something to prevent beadbi, stopped beadbi, or confronted someone face-to-face who is a disgrace to panth You cannot go explain to a mona who does drugs, smokes, etc that its bad, because u tend to lay it off by saying It's nothing, It's just all waheguru doing it, Then when things like these happen you say sikhs are in sheep clothing Let me tell you one thing, some people who were there read more bani and are in gurdwara doing seva more than you will ever do. Now, As sikhs, we need to put importance on one thing, Controlling ourselves when it comes to these issues and others. (I'm not refering to the singhs that fought) I'm saying on this forum even. We come here and say whatever we want, but try to sometimes not post when you know what you say might make someone angry. It will help you control your little desires of feeling satisfaction. When you have something to say you know others disagree to, don't say it at all. There are muslims and hindus on this forum too, acting like sikhs who make posts to make us all fight, but As sikhs we tend to help them often alot, maybe we put some of them out of business too, they probably like "We can decrease our ppl here, theres a few sikhs who we made like us"

  8. Good news. Guru ji says only cry when a moorakh dies. (I guess we should be sad for the reason they wasted their lives in manmat) Guru ji also says, Why cry when a gurmukh dies, He has just returned home. BULEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE SON HALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL SATTT SRI AKALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
  9. Sad to see questions like this still being asked.
  10. Its not hard to put on a sri sahib, because you dont know the purpose, and know what you are putting on yourself. considering it a normal object, you put it on thinking its just there i wont use it, theres no purpose. then dont put it on either and dont take amrit
  11. Look at your signature, you talk about 84, you dont forget 47 and 84 but you surely have forgotten our gurus and shaheeds like bhai mati das, bhai taru singh and many others who didnt leave their faith and didnt cut their beards and hair, even when tortured and eventually brutally killed. Before asking about khalistan, and other sikhism based things, you should first take control of your body before you try to take control of land

  14. bro your question makes no sense, tell us if this is just what u wondered one day when you were bored or something in real life that made u think of this? It is possible that a gursikh will become shaheed in order to help the panth maintain their gursikhi, etc. But that is not consdiered "giving up your sikhi"
  15. no one is gonna do veechar we are all moorakhs here
  16. just say something that talks about you wanting to work towards reaching the companies goals, want to help build the company and give it all you have, etc.
  17. First of all, from your post it seems as you care about him too much. Too much to a extent you even may like him. I won't go on about that point as you did call him a "brother" in your title. Tell him you have to talk to him and its important, if he goes i dont have time, or says i will meet, but never gets time, then thats it, you stop going after him, and let him do what he wants. If he listens, then tell him what he should be doing, if he agrees, but doesn't follow then again, leave him and let him do what he wants. You have to control yourself too, in terms of being attached to him even taking him as a brother, you have to stay detached, and not feel sad or down when he does these bad things. Waheguru guides people this way, and he himself changes their direction whenever he pleases. Try to guide him, but only "try", if it doesn't work, don't force anything or do anything just go your own way, look after yourself. What makes you think you can do something and you have it in your hands? If it is hard to forget about him and he worries you too much and from the post i see you worry alot since you said "what if he does this, what if he gets in trouble with the police, etc etc" well, then you have a problem of yourself of moh and a possible problem of "Liking" him in a different way, try to solve yourself first, before providing help to others. 20. Bhangra is vile By the Kahlsanator I'm sure a small portion of the community here listens to bhangra. and many of us have heard the catchy tunes of this form of music. and the odd time have seen it live in action. But is bhangra clean? think again - many songs now include many unclean acts that directly conflict with the values of sikhi. Yet, many sikhs still listen to it. I think bhangra has turned into something ugly and has become vile. However it wouldn't be fair just to state my opinion, I supplied a short little excerpt from Punjabi Online about bhangra... What is bhangra? It's a traditional music and dance of the punjab region, it originated sometime in the 14th and 15th century. It was performed mainly by punjab farmers in the beginning however it soon showed up in local festivals. Bhangra has many sub-dances and has recently fused with other forms of music. But for today, I am talking about the popular bhangra music that is produced today. Many well-known singers claim to be sikh and market to sikh youth - this is a very bad mix because as we all know, culture and religion are two separate things. And what's worse it that a good portion of these sikh bhrangra singers don't appear to be following the basic sikh values in the vid's and lyrics. Several things if noticed: they claim to be sikh, but they don't wear head covering. The wear the khanda symbol, but they drink and commit adultery. Some even glorify the gangster way of life and encourage aggressive behavior. This is not good, we may forget them today, however it all goes into our subconscious memory and stays. And id it's bad stuff, we may be influenced to act on it. I used to listen to bhangra, however i got tired of it when i learned the lyrics and the fact that it is not a khalsa oriented. So i quit listening to it. Several ppl i know online also don't listen to bhrangra anymore because of it's increasingly suggestive lyrics and video's. Now i wonder why other sikhs continue to listen to some the **** singers that are out today. Why do we tolerate these ppl in our midst? I have made up my mind and acted upon it. Bhangra used to be clean, but has tuned into something that is very bad (at least most popular bhangra music). I ask for all sikhs to stop listening to the so-call popular bhangra music. Jazzy b, Surinder Shinda, Manak E - all around... ...bhangra sucks -khalsa starr ------------------------------------------------------------- I have another article with a more indepth look at Bhangra and how it should be looked towards by the Khalsa. Will post it tonight.
  21. Looks like she does her eyebrows, Does she?
  22. If singhs believe bibis are our sisters and mothers. Then we should defend our sisters and mothers. Rather than going to find seva, seva has come to you and only a few lucky blessed singhs have come forward to take the seva. I suggest we look deep down in our selves to see what we as individuals are capable of.
