I fully understand bani should be respected, but am I the only one that thinks this is getting a little too dogmatic? Do you really think you are cleaner by not touching doors? Wash your hands for sure, but you don't have to avoid touching a doorknob to get to the room where you keep gutkas. That seems a bit extreme to me. Remember, the Gurus emphasized cleanliness of the soul. Yes even i was thinking the same way. Where is the such soul. people are getting into keeping everything else clean. we know we consider gurbani as our guru but by not washing our hands till our elbows or four times or not sitting on a higher place we are not neccerarily disrespecting our guru. Have forgotten how much importance our guru has given to dhana bhagat because of his clean soul.

Wahe guru ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru jee kee Fateh, I think what every one has told you about naam simran and path is the best path to follow. But if still this does not work, along with path and naam simran stop talking to your parents about anything. Talk to your siblings about this. If you all think and make up your mind and stop talking(MAUN) to your parents except for the very essential things they will surely ask you and realize something is wrong. I know this might seem awkward and wrong but it's not always we who learn from our parents, parents also have to be sometimes taught when they are wrong. Tell them that like a child who when misbehaves at school or home is left on his own for sometime to think what he has done you all have stopped taking to them to let them think about what they are doing to the peace of the house. And also make sure to remind them this MAUN will start every time they start fighting. If they are behaving like kids in your house treat them as kids. I hope this helps.

to convert VHS to dvd the other way is using pc You must have a good capture card in your pc, You will comnnect VCP/VCR to comp. and start caturing the movie then you will convert into desired format, and burn dvd, before buying any capture card, you must look for that card which has a software that converts directly into dvd fromat and the data rate of the card if the data rate of the card is very low you will miss the frames from the movie. this is an difficult way, thos is ok if you hane more time, money and you are really computer crazy. regards Sarabjeet Singh
