  1. The comrades who have never won more than 1 or 2 seats throughout their history in Punjab now see that they can use the repeal of the farm laws to become politically active. No matter what 'sewa' this guy Swaiman Singh did, his ideology is anti-Sikh. Hear how he refers to Guru Nanak as a comrade! To equate the life liberating Gurmat of the Gurus into an ideology like Communism which caused the mass murder and deaths by famine of tens of millions in the 20th century and which has failed in each and every country that it has been tried in shows the deviousness of this person. I would not trust him one bit. He is a western educated person so he is not someone in Punjab who does not even know the history of Communism in the USSR and China under Mao. He is devious to the core. It is looking like some deal was done in Delhi that Rajewal and the comrades would divide the vote in Punjab and hence the BJP which would have lost badly any seats that they fought in would be able to get a dozen or on seats just because on the division of the votes.
  2. I always pull my nephews and nieces up because they always say "AAPAN" when they should be saying "ASEEN" for WE in English. You use AAPAN ( ਆਪਾਂ ) when you are talking about doing something which INCLUDES the person you are taking to and you say ASEEN ( ਅਸੀਂ ) when you are going to do something that EXCLUDES that person. ਅਸੀਂ ਘਰ ਚਲੇ ਹਾਂ - we are going home without you ਆਪਾਂ ਘਰ ਚਲਦੇ ਹਾਂ - let's go home I think something that anyone who has young kids should also be doing is inculcating the respectful Punjabi manners such as making sure that they always answer hanji - ਹਾਂਜੀ when they answer.
  3. Twitter is not real life and any Muslim girl showing an interest in a Sikh guy has to be secretive because there are many levels of informants who will disclose any secret she has to her parents and brothers etc. Because of our open and liberal culture a Sikh saying he doesn't believe in Sikhi isn't likely to get killed but a Muslim is. This is what we have to understand, the immoral of the open and liberal can be seen but the immoral of the repressive has to be hidden and because it is from the repressed then the immorality is ten times worse. We tend to accept others at face value and view Hijabis as those who are committed to their religion, from personal experience and having lived through the period before the excessive religiosity of the Muslims, I can tell you that their girls were ten times worse than any of our girls might be today. It is just that as we went from conservative to liberal over the years they went the other way. But a people do not suddenly become conservative, they have to mask the problems within their community and stop it being known by others as well as use violence to stop the immorality, it doesn't mean that the issues are still not there, they might be less and also in secret and brushed under the carpet. While their community will maintain confidentiality and deal with their women in secret, ours will shout ours from the rooftops. You only have to look here for example where some are as fast as lightning to post anything negative that a Sikh might have done which is in the newspaper and post it here. No Muslim on their forums would do that. Just as an example of what their community was like, the first openly 'Asian' strippers were two Pakistani girls in 1991. Oriental exposure - International News - Issue Date: Dec 15, 1991 (indiatoday.in) Also in the 80s and 90s they had a problem with their girls running away from home with non-Muslims and they used their network of mini cab drivers to try and find them. The problem might be less today not because their girls have become more moral but because the honour killings of some of their immoral girls has managed to stem some of the tide towards immorality.
  4. Sir Chhotu Ram was against the Arya Samaj as well. His aim was to unite the Jaats and to bring them prosperity and education. He did not do anything which was anti-Sikh and the first editor of his newspaper, the Jat Gazette was a Jaat who had converted to Sikhi. He was a member of the Unionist Party in the pre-1947 Punjab which was a party of agricultural interests. Since 70-80% of people in the states of both Punjab and Haryana rely on agriculture, the future is for a similar party to try and take power in both states.
  5. If Pannun can get us Khaiistan then good on him. Unlike you I don't badmouth anyone who is trying to do something positive for Sikh freedom. It is interesting that the ones who fought for Israel and created Israel (secular-leftists) were the ones who would be equated to MONAS in Sikhi and the ones who would be KHALSA among the Jews (orthodox) were the ones who were against Israel and some still make common cause with the Palestinians today to deny the right of Israel to exist.
  6. The fact is that Santa Singh's actions pretty much relegated the Nihangs to being viewed as a negative force within Sikhi by the vast majority of Sikhs. There are a few naive kids in the diaspora who never lived through 1984 and are impressed by and accept at face value the attempt to present Santa Singh as some Mahapurkh based on the Bhagti he did. Whether he did Bhagti or not is not an issue, what is an issue is the immense damage he did to us in 1984 by his actions. It is only now with the actions of the Nihangs and especially Baba Raja Raj Singh during the farmers agitation that they have managed to undo much of the damage that Santa Singh did to their reputation.
  7. Total BS and something that can only come from someone who didn't live through those times. The only ones who viewed Santji as a terrorist were the ones who were always against him from the start such as the extremist Hindus, the Congressis, the leftists and the cultists like the Nirankaris. The common Sikhs never viewed Santji as a terrorist either before or after 1984. If your elders did then they must have some connection with the ones I listed above because no common Sikh in 1984 believed that Santji was a terrorist. The only reassessment of Santji is being done by the youth NOW who had fallen victim to the decades of anti-Santji govt propaganda after the Kharkoo movement in 1995. They are now reassessing Santji and discovering the truth about him. The Sikhs of 1984 had no need for any reassessment, virtually every Sikh viewed him as a fighter for the rights of Punjab and the Sikh Panth. As for using the Indian media, you need to use your brain sometimes. It was in the interests of the Indian media to enhance Santa Singh's reputation but even the most pliant media considered him a clown and were embarrassed that the Indian govt advisors had come up with such a person to deal with the situation after Bluestar. If anything the media would be trying to make a cogent statement out of his ramblings. Santa Singh was like 10th or more down the list of people the Indian state wanted to use for its own purposes. The ones above him had more sense and understood the government plan against the Sikhs. ONLY Santa Singh allowed himself to be used in such an underhand manner. The fact that the SGPC Jathedar did not fulfil his duties does not automatically legitimise Santa Singh as Jathedar. He had decades to present his claim to be the rightful Jathedar of Akal Takht and yet no one outside of the Nihangs considered him as such. He might even have thought that by being Indira Gandhi's puppet, he would be able to take over the Akal Takht after it had been rebuilt but even he had to admit which way the wind was blowing and gave up his plan. You know I don't give a rats ar%e what Santa Singh did for his own organisation, if he wanted to be respected by the rest of the Panth then he needed to show what his contributions were to the whole of the Panth. And stop with your Budha Dal is the Panth bukwas. It might impress ignorant kids who have never actually done any research but it doesn't impress me. You stated in one of the other posts that the Nihangs could not openly come out with their guns because Punjab was under lockdown. You do know that hundreds if not thousands of Sikhs had started to march to the Durbar Sahib as soon as they learned that the army was attacking. These people were machine gunned from helicopters mercilessly while your Jathedar of 90 crore Khalsa with licensed firearms was sitting in his chaoni afraid to even go out because the military was in control. If the newspapers were misquoting him they could so easily have been exposed by him making a statement himself. The fact is he never did. The views expressed by him in the magazines were his views then, if he changed his views after then that doesn't make any difference. The fact is he was happy to be Indira Gandhi's puppet. You really have to bend facts to defend him. So he opposed the Dharam Yudh morcha because he knew the SGPC were gaddars! What did the SGPC have to do with Dharam Yudh morcha? Santji by his very presence in first the Guru Nanak Niwas and the Akal Takht had negated the SGPC and left them powerless. They knew he had the support of the Panth apart from the congressi Nihangs of Santa Singh. It was the Akali Dal and Longowal which betrayed the morcha in the end. Santa Singh had been a Congressi Nihang since the early 1970s and he remained one until the end. I don't want anyone to be arrested but I am against the hypocrisy which tries to paint the SGPC as illegitimate because it functions under govt control while Santa Singh claimed to be sovereign in his own right and yet had to follow the govt rules of firearms licences. You are either a part of the system or you are not. Yes, but he is then countering the need for Khalistan by saying that there is no discrimination against Sikhs. This is what he said in answer to the Khalistan demand-; Isn't the President of India a Sikh? There are so many ministers, generals, officers. There is no discrimination. And in which little district will they make their Khalistan? So now be honest, is this not a complete lie for not only India in 1984 but also India in 2022. The Indian state taught this so-called Jathedar well, he was mouthing the same lies that the Indian state has mouthed since 1947. Again where was the clarification, whenever the newspapers misquoted Santji he always made sure that he told the Sangat what the real facts were. Newspapers such as Ajit and Akali Patrika would publish these clarifications. Santa Singh did no such thing. Either he was incredibly naive or he was playing the government's game, both don't do much for his reputation.
  8. The Chinese know that a strong India is a danger to their own attempt to supplant the USA as the premier super power. They do not want to conquer India but they want to take bits of land around India to show the upstart Bahmans who is the boss not just in Asia but the world. There is so much potential for the Chinese to cause disruption all over India. The India state has for over 70 years never dealt with any agitation for more rights without using oppression. The festering wounds of the last 70 years of oppression are there and the Chinese will use these to slowly bring down and destroy the Indian state. The artificial entity created by the British will break up. They have already encircled India with countries which now look to India as a arrogant power which needs to be taught a lesson. The Chinese will support freedom movements in India which exist now on the outer edges of India such as Khalistan, Kashmir, Nagaland, Bodos as well as creating new ones, the Tamils, the Bengalis etc. They will use different techniques for the different movements. With Khalistan, they will use the narrative that the Sikhs had their own country even before India was created and the Chinese had diplomatic relations with Sikhs. Why are Sikhs fighting for India when they could be free and have their own country. There is over 70 years of Indian oppression that the Chinese could bring up to convince is that our future lies in freedom from India. They know that of all the movements in India, it is the Sikh freedom movement which has the potential to cause the most disruption to the Indian state, We have over 10-15% Sikhs in the army, 15-20% in the officer corps and we are in the units which because of the Indian states policy of sending Sikh soldiers to the front before any of the other units, we thus have the most combat experienced solders in the Indian army. The Chinese plan would be to engineer a revolt by Sikhs in the army similar to the one that happened in 1984. The one in 1984 was unplanned and unorganised, this one will not be. If the Chinese can co-ordinate with the Sikh officers in the army such a mutiny would be devastating for the Indian war effort. The nightmare scenario of the Indian state is that in the event of war with China, there is a revolt by Sikh troops, attacks on the army and government offices across India by the various Independence movements. The Chinese will have already set up contacts both abroad and in India with all of these movements. The farmers andolan has already shown how the Chinese threat has made the Indian state take decisions which it would never have taken had there been no Chinese at the borders and the changes to the overall geo-political situation in the region and beyond. Modi and Shah knew that with each passing day the Indian state's legitimacy was being eroded in Punjab and among Sikhs. It wasn't the nearly 800 Shaheedis, the tens of thousands sleeping in the open in winter and summer that made the government see sense and change it's policy. It was the Chinese threat, the coming to power of a weak Biden whose son is controlled by the Chinese as well as the Taliban taking over in Afghanistan. The days of Howdy Modi are long gone! Things are not looking good for India, it is encircled, the allies it could rely on now do not have the will to intervene. No doubt the Indians will take solace in the fact that maybe the Phillipines, Japan, Vietnam etc will help India. That is unlikely, these countries know that India is fractured already and they know that the Chinese will be the eventual winners. It is easy to make statements of support when there is no war but when push comes to shove no country will sacrifice it's soldiers to save a slum infested country like India. Australia has been making noises but they do not have the will and the USA will stop them knowing that if Australia gets involved there will be pressure for the USA to also to get involved. This is the possible scenario that I see playing out in south Asia. No Chankaya niti will save India. 70 years of bad decisions and oppression of all legitimate struggles for more rights have already created enough bad karma to see the Indian state become just a footnote in history.
  9. While Hindustani bandars cheer their cricket team This is what the Chinese are doing on the borders
  10. Putting the map of the evil country that massacred my people and the dirty rag that was hoisted on the Akal Takht by your army of rapists and murderers and you ask me why I reacted the way I did. You think your country had it bad with the Jihadis, wait until the Chinese push forward their plan to smash your country into a dozen pieces. The US won't be able to interfere and the countries around you already hate your guts. Happy new year and let's hope the Chinese decide that this is the year that the artificial state the British created finally ceases to exist.
  11. This will always happen, where ever there is money then the misuse accusations will always take place. The best way personally will be to fund the building of a Gurdwara in a Jaat village through collecting donations from family and friends.
  12. Not really, the Muslims took their share in 1947 and the Punjabi Hindus took their share in 1966. Punjab belongs to the Sikhs now. To be honest you people deserve to be like the Sindhis, lost without any land of their own so that you suffer for what you have done both against Punjab and Punjabi and yearn for the land that you lost. That would go someway to make up for the treachery of your people.
  13. Soon to be broken into more than a dozen pieces. Just as the sacrifices of our Gurus ensured the end of the Mughal empire, the sacrifices of the Sikhs in 1984 will also ensure that India will become a footnote in history. I look forward to the day that India and Pakistan both cease to exist. For India, China on the doorstep taking away the unearned territories gifted to the artificial British creation by the departing British. And for Pakistan the intolerant religion which will destroy it own. As for the Punjabi Hindus, a more worthless people it would be hard to find. Now suck that up.
  14. It's actually Chaudhry Karma Chhina who along with other Chaudhrys of the Majha such as Rama Randhawa and Sahib Rai Sandhu were the ones who assisted the Mughals in hunting down Sikhs during the 1720s onwards. The Chhinas, Randhawas , Sandhus and Dhillons were the biggest Jat gots in the Majha. The only Chaudhry who did not take part in helping the Mughals was the family of Bhai Langah who were Dhillon Jats and from whose family came Mai Bhago. The Dhillons as a got never took part in the anti-Sikh activities of the other Chaudhrys and they went on to found the Bhangi Misl which was the largest and most powerful of the Misls before Maharaja Ranjit Singh's Sukkarchakkias overtook them and founded the Lahore kingdom. The largest village in Amritsar, Panjwar is a Dhillon village and apart from being the village from which the founders of the Bhangi Misl came from, it also provided a lot of Kharkoos in the 1980s and 1990s. The Bhangi Misl and their allies were the first ones to organise raids into Rawalpindi areas as well as south towards Multan. In Rawalpindi their ally Milkha Singh Thehpuria held the town and area around it against the powerful Muslim tribes. The Bhangis were perhaps the only Misl that held areas both in the extreme west in Rawalpindi as well as the extreme east in Buriya in Haryana. Unlike other Misls, they also accepted their clansmen, the Dhillons of Malwa into their Misl as leaders. One of their leaders was Bhima Singh who came from a village near Moga in the Malwa.
  15. Good to see them take the initiative to build a Gurdwara. For the Parchar to be a success there will need to be a Gurdwara in each of their villages. Do you know what efforts Sikhs organisations are making to do parchar in the Jaat areas. There is already a Sikh Mission in Hapur which is near Meerut. The DSGMC is in the centre of their areas. Any ideas if they have become involved in these efforts. The present Jathedar of Akal Takht seems to be better than the previous ones, any idea of Manoj Singh has approached him for help? The SGPC has a Dharam Parchar committee, have they been approached? The SGPC has a major Gurdwara in their areas Dhamtan Sahib in Jind District. Has the Haryana Gurdwara Committee whose head is Daduwal, have they got involved? What can diaspora Sikhs do to get involved. We gave so much to the farmers agitation, is there a way for us to contribute? As can be seen from the success of this village in Telangana, it it needs for the whole village to become attached to Sikhi is for a Gurdwaras and a few residents who have studied Sikhi for some years.
  16. These Bandars have no concept of freedom of speech and the right to non-violent protest and assembly.
  17. I think in one of the Punjabi Shaheed movies which came out in the 1970s there was confusion between Dyer and O'Dwyer. The assumption being that perhaps Udham Singh had killed the wrong man. Looking at what happened in 1919, it appeared that O'Dwyer was the greater culprit in that he wanted to commit mass atrocities in Punjab to beat the population into submission. Here is some excepts from the Hunter report on what other atrocities the British were committing at that time in Gujranwala. The Khalsa school was bombed and machine gunned in Gujranwala causing many deaths and injured. This is the haram.zada that did the bombing. Douglas Hugh Moffatt Carbery (theaerodrome.com)
  18. It's so easy to dismiss things now and make up lame excuses for why Santa did his GADDARI. Here is his views from the time and you can all decide whether this guy deserves the title of MAHAPURKH. Interview with Indian Today during the 'kar sewa' The Nihangs: Storm-troopers - Cover Story News - Issue Date: Aug 15, 1984 (indiatoday.in) On the allegation that he is a government stooge. Utter rubbish. We are the real heirs of the Sikh shrines and traditions. We were authorized to look after the Gurudwaras by the Sixth Guru while the SGPC got its authority from an act passed by the British. The act should have gone across the seven seas along with the British. In any case, whose authority is paramount, the Guru's or the British rulers'? Then why not come before the Panth and stake a claim to be the legitimate heirs of Akali Phoola Singh? Santa Singh knew he didn't have a hope in hell of convincing any Sikhs that he could fulfil the role of Akal Takht Jathedar On why he is so upset with the SGPC. They have been messing about for 60 years. They just make a commotion. I call them Khappoo Singhs (Khap means noise in Punjabi). Their movement has failed and now they are running marches, hiding behind women and children. Why didn't they act when Bhindranwale's men were going about defecating and drying underwear on the balconies of the Akal Takht? Promoting the government narrative that Sant Bhindranwale was the one desecrating the Akal Takht. A great display of being a Mahapurkh. On the Akalis' excuse that they did not oppose Bhindranwale out of fear. Why did they never approach me for help? I would have happily sent in my cavalry. What are all these gallant horsemen for if not for saving the shrines from desecration? It is because they did not ask their own Sikh armies that Mrs Gandhi had to send in hers. Promoting a civil war among Sikhs. He didn't have the guts to oppose Sant Bhindranwale but after he was martyred this clown played at being a warrior. On display of firearms by his men. These are licensed weapons. I am myself authorized to issue certain licenses. But these arms are meant to protect and not slaughter innocent people. Wow, so he opposes the SGPC for working under government dictates but his men all go to govt offices to get firearms licences or is authorised by the govt to issue licences on its behalf. Talk about hypocrisy. On the Khalistan demand. Isn't the President of India a Sikh? There are so many ministers, generals, officers. There is no discrimination. And in which little district will they make their Khalistan? Zail Singh being president is enough to prove that the whole Dharam Yudh morcha was a sham! So he doesn't believe in the need for Khalsa Raj or is Khalsa Raj different for a free Sikh nation? On the charge the men would take cannabis inside the temple. Address this charge to those who were actually selling opium inside the temple. I am told opium was being sold for as little as a rupee a capsule. Today we are finding bottles of rum and even safety razors in the debris in the Akal Takht. Again promoting the govt narrative that Sant Bhindranwale's men were the ones desecrating the Akal Takht. So is he saying that they were all drunkards and secret shavers? Or could the rum bottles and safety razors be from the same haram.zada army men who were protecting him?
  19. So you seriously think that Santa Singh and his Nihangs had the knowledge required to repair the Akal Takht? Seriously? He was the patsy bought in to be the face of the 'kar sewa' while Govt organisations were the ones that did the work.
  20. When did I say this is right? The Akal Takht could have been symbolically cleansed. You are a child and you did not live during that time. The amount of anger that all Sikhs had against the Gaddar having been involved in the 'kar sewa' is something you would not understand. So easy to sit here 40 years after the event and pontificate. Had a kid like you tried to stop it you would have been jhatka'ed in a second.
  21. Get your facts straight, Baba Kharak Singh was not a Nihang, he was involved in Kar Sewa across Punjab. Here he is with Sant Bhindranwale. A number of his followers were also martyred during Bluestar.
  22. So now it was Indian govt which offered the money as well as the bhaiyas who did most of the work clearing the debris. That was Kar Sewa done in the true traditions of the Khalsa! So if Indira had refused to give any money would Santa gaddar have had the resources to repair the Akal Takht? You think had the intelligence people who had negotiated with him to take part in the gaddari not offered any money that he would have accepted the 'kar sewa'? Part of his gaddari was the money that the govt gave him for selling out the Sikhs.
  23. Cope..lol. Really, no need for me to cope with anything. I just presented the GADDAR and his GADDARI. It is you who can't handle the truth. Santa Singh was brought to the Durbar Sahib under PUNJAB POLICE COMMANDO AND ARMY ESCORT. There were negotiations to have Baba Kharak Singh to undertake the Kar Sewa after the gaddar had been escorted there but Baba Kharak Singh insisted that the army had to be withdrawn. Santa Singh the gaddar couldn't handle being side lined and the Indian intelligence advised Indira to keep with the Gaddar as they couldn't trust the Akalis. Santa Singh was happy to have the army protect him, the same army which has just committed a massacre of Sikh pilgrims a few weeks before. Dressed in the colorful saffron and blue-skirted dress of the Nihangs, Baba Santa Singh Chheyanvi Kirori (one with 96 crore followers) arrived at Amritsar's famous Gurudwara Burz Akali Phula Singh in a blaze of government-inspired publicity under the escort of scores of Punjab police commandos and army jawans. "Here look at my forces, we are a sect of martyrs," he declared pointing to the hundreds of his followers dressed in ancient warrior costumes. Punjab: The elusive solution - Cover Story News - Issue Date: Aug 15, 1984 (indiatoday.in)
  24. ?? First you say you never said Indira should say for it and then you say they made her pay for the damage. Which one is it. Keep your argument consistent at least even if it is ridiculous.
