  1. The Palestinians receive billions every year from the USA, EU and UN. What have they done with these billions? The world needs to move on from these people, they were offered their own state in 2000 but they want the destruction of Israel and nothing less. There are hundreds of millions of people in a worst condition than the Palestinians yet the Palestinians get the limelight about their 'problems' and the others are forgotten by the media. The Israelis are no less, they are financed by the Americans and it is only the American money and weapons that is keeping Israel in existence. These Israelis know that with time and the changing demographics of the US, more and more liberal and socialist leaders are likely to come in the wake of Obama and eventually the USA will realise that it is not in their interest to keep on supporting Israel and so the Israelis are reaching out to countries like India. They have no qualms about protesting against Palestinian terrorism and yet keep ties with terrorist states like India.
  2. The Israelis are now the best friends of the Indian govt and they may have assisted the HIndustanis in their dirty war against the Sikhs in the 1990s. The one thing that we should admire about the Israelis is that even though they were a small minority in Palestine in 1948 they were able to get 50% of the territory and then when they were attacked by the Arab states they were able to enlarge the state that the UN gave them. This is something that the Sikh leadership failed to do in 1947 and we are suffering from the consequences. As for the Palestinians they need to take the area that Israelis are giving them and move on. They have over a dozen Arab countries which have not helped them and have used them as pawns in their war with Israel. The Jews were forced out of the Arab countries and do not make any claims against these countries and have moved on to become citizens of Israel. The Palestinians need to do the same.
  3. She has every right to want to choose a school that does not have 100 odd nationalities with their own culture which the two teachers tried desperately to present as a benefit to the kids born in this country. She was right to comment on their observations as being PC and not based on reality. The school in question, Dormers Wells is just next to the Golf Links estate which is full of Somali families living on benefits.
  4. I am here to educate you. But if you want to live with your head up your own backside, I can't help you see the light without possibly setting your butt on fire! You must know the only Somalis who work. I work within the public sector and everyone who works with me and within the departments whether they are Punjabi. Goray, Black Caribbean, Eastern European have a very low opinion of Somalis given they way they work the system. They work long hours in their own educational setup so we have no reason to believe what they say that they work long hours. Newsflash some Pakistanis are known to lie! The problem that people like you don't understand is that there are good immigrant groups and there are bad immigrant groups.
  5. We learn more about the person who claims that to say what you see and hear with your own eyes and ears is racism! It's not a perception, it is a fact. The vast majority of Somalis in the UK know how to work the system and get access to the benefits and not make any contribution themselves. The women have 6-8 kids and get housed in 4-6 bedrooms by the taxpayer, they receive benefits for not working so an average Somali family receives more money from the taxpayer than if the parents went out to work for a living. The average Somali father will state that he doesn't get on with his wife and so will get housed in a flat by himself. He typically either spends the whole day at one of the Somali cafes out of his head chewing khat or working in the black market as a min cab driver not paying any taxes. So these people take two properties off the people who have paid into the system all their lives so you cannot be surprised that the person among even ethnic minorities is that there are too many immigrants. The Mohammed guy was a typical Somali. They hate the country that feeds and clothes them. You cannot put this down to their having had bad experiences such as racism since they arrived here. They didn't face the blatant racism that our parents and even many of us faced in the 60s and 70s. His objection against taking part in distributing the food to the homeless was that he would be taking part in a 'Sikh' tradition! He is the one who came across as a bigot. Also not entering a Gurdwara not only prevented the non-Sikh viewers from seeing what goes on in a Gurdwara but showed how bigoted the Somali was. The programme should have shown what does on in a Gurdwara but then for the programme makers that is not more important that showing the same in the Mosque. The Pakistani couple came across as scroungers as well. If the husband needs medical help that's not available in Pakistan and you claim to have been well off in Pakistan then pi$$ off to the USA and pay for the medical help you need and don't come scrounging to the UK because it's free! Apart from the above the programme did really well and it was enlightening for people. It showed that migrants from Europe tend to come here to work while the Somalis and Pakistani come to take the benefits and not make any contributions. I thought Kiran came across well. She showed that even people who are the descendants of migrants feel that the immigrants now are taking the pi$$. The immigrants who came in the 60s and 70s came here to work while the ones now like from Somalia are just here to claim benefits.
  6. The Haryana committee is a good thing. The SGPC has been so corrupted that it is best if Sikhs break off all relations with these bunch of chor and lutere. There is nothing sactosanct about the SGPC anymore, It was the premier Sikh body when it cared about Sikh issues but now when they are happy to just be Badal's chumchas then they lose their right for any respect. Just as the Sikhs need to break the grip of Badal Akali Dal from the politics of Punjab, so also they need to break the control of the SGPC over Sikh religious affairs. Haryana committee, Rajasthan committee etc need to come into existence so that the SGPC just become what it has always wanted to be - a glorified Gurdwara committee whose members are only interested in enriching themselves. The creation of state level committees won't create disunity amongst Sikhs. It will ensure that at least the charawa and amdan from the land of the Gurdwaras in each state will at least have a chance of being used for the well being of the Sikhs of that state. The money will not as is the case now be taken by the SGPC and bottles of sharab brought with the money to try and elect another Badal crony into power.
  7. She is facing probably trumped up charges and so might be used by the govt to blacken Hawara's name. If the Tribune wrote tomorrow that 2+2=4, I would want to have that verified from another source because that newspaper is just another Hindustani propaganda rag!
  8. After writing the above, I checked up this Hindustani monkey Prem mahadevan and it appears he's the same muppet that has proposed that the Americans use Gill's methods in Afghanistan! How's that for a typical Indian. Advocate that the American adopt Gill's state terrorism methods and then claim later in another article that his methods are so great that they are studied in the west when he is the only fool that has studied them for the west!!
  9. The movement for Khalistan on Sikhistan goes back to the 1940s. The demand was made as a counter proposal if Pakistan was conceded by the British. The demand became dormant during the struggle for Punjabi Suba and was raised again by Jagjit Singh Chohan through the New York Times in 1971 during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. The ISI did not help the Sikh cause until well into the Dharam Yudh Morcha which started in late 1981. The Congress help for the so-called Ultra-orthodox Sikh groups was nothing to do with agricultural and employment grievances, it was to do with taking over the centre stage of Sikh politics such as the SGPC. The Sikh nationalist movement was at its height in 1989-1991. This was at a time when the government machinery in Punjab had virtually conceded that Khalistan was coming and no police of govt official apart from the ones at the very top were willing to fight against it. It was a time when the newspapers would not publish the word terrorst and referred to Sikh nationalists as 'militants'. The demands prior to 1984 were for the acceptance for the Anandpur Sahib resolution. Khalistan is not mentioned in this document but the writer uses the fact that the Sikh national struggle's demands prior to 1984 and after 1984 were different in order to make it appear that they did know what they wanted. What a blatant lie. The government concluded a so-called accord with Longowal which fell far short of the Anandpur Sahib resolution. Even this accord was reneged on by the government. Criminal acts did occur on both sides, with the govt using criminal elements to sabotage the movement from within. The Indian army did not engage with the Sikh nationalists, it was mainly the Punjab Police and the CRPF. The army did however commit massacres in Punjab by killing innocent Sikhs. The whole import of this article is that Sikh nationalism has died because there has not been any militant actions since 1993. The fact is the Indian authorities as well as the media look at acts of violence as a way to measure support for a movement! The writer does not seem to aware that the Punjab was bought to a standstill in 2012 in an effort to save the life of Balwant Singh Rajoana someone that the writer would refer to as a Khalistani terrorist. How is it that a majority of Punjab's Sikhs don't view Rajoana the way the writer does? Had the Sikh nationalists not boycotted the Punjab elections in 1992 it is highly likely that Simranjit Singh Mann would have become the chief minister of Punjab. How would that have been for a movement without so-called popular support?? The movement was crushed because those at the head made mistakes or worked with the govt to ensure that Mann did not win. This enabled the Congress to form a government with only 8% of the vote and they then used the security forces to crush the movement. What a joke. Sophisticated? Yes, kill and torture the families of the nationalists and engage in fake encounters of Sikh youth! The Indians like Prem are so proud of having crushed the Sikh struggle that they even proposed the 'Gill strategy' to the Americans in Afghanistan. The last line in typical Indian bombast.
  10. A Sarbat Khalsa technically means the 'entire' Khalsa so calling one for just one particular country and one particular issue may seem at odds with traditional understanding of a Sarbat Khalsa but in this day and age there is nothing stopping a Sarbat Khalsa using the technology available such as skype so that representatives of say the American Gurdwara council or UK Sikh Council as well as scholars from India who are not under the thumb of the SGPC from taking part and giving this Sarbat Khalsa a wider representation. Any action which limits the power of the SGPC is good in my view because if the SGPC members and Jathedars are happy to act as Badal's chamchas and keep silent on or even sabotage Panthic issues then they deserve to be sidelined. When people holding positions of power in the Panth find that they are not being respected and are being sidelined that is when they start to act. Only the power of the common Sikhs as shown in the Rajoana protests which forced the Badals to fight to save Rajoana's live can make the SGPC and Jathedars act in favour of the Panth. The recent elections in Punjab showed that millions of Panthic votes when to the AAP and these voters refused to be swayed by the appeal to vote for the Panth (Badals) and this is why the Akalis have suddenly started to make pro-Panth statements. Similarly for the SGPC along with the Sarbat Khalsa the possible creation of a Haryana Gurdwara committee will hurt the SGPC and the Jathedars. This can only be a good thing. The Sikhs outside India need to stop running to the SGPC or Akal Takht and create local institutions which are responsive to and understand their needs.
  11. The movement for freedom was sabotaged first by traitors like Santa Singh and Longowal and then by govt agents committing atrocities in order to give the movement a bad name.
  12. You are wrong, outside of Punjab, in the rest of India as well as abroad Sikhi is flourishing. In Punjab Sikhi is going downhill due to the rule of Badal who has done a deal with the Hindu RSS and BJP that they will support him provided he makes sure that the Sikhs will never be in a position to rise up again like after 1984. The only positive thing that has happened in the last few year which shows that Sikhi may be making a comeback is the Rajoana protests as well as the defeat of Badal's candidates in the last election.
  13. Typical BS by this Ragi. Let's be honest here most Ragis are in it for the money. You only need to see how they act when they are invited to do Kirtan at someone's house after an Akhand Path or Sukhmani Sahib path. They are so eager to get it over with and go to the next place so they can earn as much money as possible. When asked to eat langar they will eat a little and make off as quick as possible. This is why more and more Sikhs should learn to do Kirtan and Path so that whenever they hold a Akhand Path there is no need to hire Ragis and the family themselves should be able to do the Kirtan. As this Ragi, he is just doing the usual chamchagardi. He must think that the people listening to his BS stories about Badal's wife are was responsible for bringing so much corruption to Punjab are idiots. As the OP said, every child in Punjab knows that she was the one who Badal sent people to so that a deal could be made on how much her cut was from any deal. The Ragi's attempt to make her look like some kind of saint shows that he is as corrupt as she was.
  14. Personally I think we need to be careful of accepting stories such as the killings of the Masands without there being ample historical evidence for this story. The Guru had gold on his arrows so that if the person who was hit by the arrow was injured he would be able to afford to treat the wound and if he died then his relatives would be able to afford his funeral. It does not seem to be in keeping with the Gurus than one of them would boil alive Masands no matter what their crime. All sorts of stories contrary to Gurbani have crept into Sikhi such as the Devi worship and havan story mainly though writers who had an agenda.
  15. As well as that they should be taking affadivits from the survivors and relatives of those that were killed and live abroad. These should then be used to get arrest warrants against any of the Punjab police officials involved in these killings if they ever come abroad.
  16. SV is a business, Niddar like any other business needs to keep inventing himself as the older customers get wise and move away as they get disillusioned with his made up martial art so he attracts the younger and more gullible customers to keep his business running. His business has been going downhill for the last few years and no attempt to bring out glossy books will keep it from becoming bankrupt in the next few years.
  17. Why didn't he stand in a ward in Southall. He would have got the votes of all my family members and friends. The Southall Labour councillors are a joke.
  18. She's brought more shame on her family and her own mother who she claims to be honouring. She obviously thinks that marrying a musla and having two kids with him somehow show how she is a strong woman but all she has done is bring more disgrace on her mother and her family. She is just following that idiotic Sangera woman who has made a career of dragging the community through the mud. Mind you having read the background of the case, her mother was having an affair with a work colleague when she was taken to India and murdered. If she wanted another man she should have divorced her husband at the very least.
  19. As always Neo you go off on a tangent. I told you that Mohammed did exactly what Boko Haram are doing and you bring in NANG POOHLA! Was nang Poohla following the example of any of the Gurus? No, so your analogy is false and as someone who has been active on the forums for over a decade I would have thought that you would not have made such a schoolboy error. Here's a more simple way for you to understand. 1, Boko Haram kidnap schoolgirls and threaten to sell them off 2. Mohammed brought and sold slaves when he was around 3. Islam teaches that Mohammed is the perfect man and should be emulated by all Muslims 4. What Boko Haram is doing is sanctioned by Islam.
  20. Sorry to break all your bubbles but what the Boko Haraamis are doing is quite legitimate according to Islam. They are fighting a Jihad and as fighters of Jihad they can take women prisoner. The Muslim waxing lyrically about how Mohammed said this and said that also should know that Mohammed himself brought and sold slaves and used slaves captured in battle as sex slaves. So did Ali and there companions of Mohammed. Looks like to me that the Boko Haraami guy is just emulating Mohammed just as Islam says that all Muslims should emulate him as apparently he is considered the perfect example!
  21. 100 Punjabi Hindus = one real man hence only 350 Hindus were killed in the 80s
  22. Keep anonymous and there shouldn't be a problem. Don't ever give personal details on FB or other forums. He must be really scared if he's gone off the Meeri and now just concentrates on Peeri!
  23. Why haven't they produced a document like a constitution of Khalistan? Why haven't they even produced a document which details why Khalistan is required? They are out of touch totally with Punjab and most have created a business whereby they give a few statements out every few months but do nothing to further the cause of Khalistan in Punjab. Pretty much a majority of the Sikhs abroad support Khalistan so what is stopping these people abroad from creating a strategy and putting it into place to further the cause of Khalistan in Punjab?
  24. Organisations like Dal Khalsa, Sikh Students Federation, Damdami Taksal and Akali Dal Amritsar have basically failed to unite and give a clear lead to the Sikhs who want Badal out. Only AAP can now win against the corrupt Badal Akalis. The people outside India who are now saying Sikhs should stick to Khalistan have no clue what it takes to create, sustain and motivate a grass roots movement which can then take over the Punjab politically and bring Khalistan into being. These people think that they can make statements in the press and the Sikhs in Punjab will follow their lead. This is how out of touch they are with reality. Rather that deride AAP these people should be getting their supporters in Punjab to join AAP in large numbers and then make AAP into an anti-Badal party with a strong Punjabi agenda (ie water rights for Punjab, more autonomy etc) . AAP in Punjab is already a majority Sikh party and has put a majority of Sikh candidates up for the elections. If they manage as seems likely they will win 4-5 seats out of 13 in Punjab, this will represent a sea change in Punjab politics. AAP are then sure to win a majority in the Punjab assembly and this will be first time that a non Akali or non Congress party has ruled Punjab. Even 2 seats will convince the nay sayers that Badals days are numbered. The last time this could have happened was in 1992 when the militants forced a boycott on Simranjeet Singh Mann. The people outside of Punjab need to understand the forces at work in Punjab and in India. By making sure that AAP has a majority Sikh base then it will automatically, at least in Punjab be forced to fight for Punjabi rights which in essence because the Sikhs are a majority in Punjab will be a fight for Sikh rights.
