well basically there was a programme on the bbc today about sai baba who calls himself god and performs lots of tricks 'miracles' hes got a massive following in india. in the prog there was a white american family called the rahms who had been close followers of his n believed in him as god, and they got a son who at the age of 16 was sexually abused by sai baba, the first time he mentioned it to his parents his father never really cared much because sai baba had done this to him before, sai baba performed <admin-profanity filter activated> acts with them. but with the son sai baba had been doing a lot more than what he did to his father, the son was too scared to say anything because he thought the family would disown him, eventually he told them n they reported sai baba. but no action was taken because basically sai baba is above the law and the person investigating the report was a chamcha of sai baba. the bbc reporter interviewed a former member of parliament about allegations made against sai baba but he was also a follower of sai baba n became very heavy handed n showed frustration because the reporter was implying that sai baba had been doing all this stuff. even atal bihari vajpayee made a speech n said all allegations are false, they showed manmohan singh in his ashram along with other big political leaders. there was a 'gurubuster' who went around proving all these fake babas wrong n he was telling of how sai baba does his tricks n acts as if he is performing miracles. funnily enough they showed kushwant singh n he was talkin about theres no mention of <admin-profanity filter activated> stuff in indian tradi tion and if sai baba had been doing this hes wrong. there was a lot of stuff being said n shown, but i dint watch it all coz i was watching the football B)

a degree of truth? from what i hear in his programes its him just putting together a lot of propaganda against sikhs then adding one or 2 facts in favour of sikhs so that he doesnt appear to be biased. also when you make programmes about operation bluestar u dont jus go on what the government tells u, u need to go deep to find out ther real truth, ll he does is get goverment statistics and presents them.

its most likely that here will b a size restriction on sending files. for sending keertan video/audio files u will first hacve to upload it then the person u send it to will have 2 download it, its easier if you just come to the keertan hub and share your files there with the sangat and from there u can download hundreds of other kirtan files too.
