I apologize for some on here that dont know how to respect and address others with manners. Yes sikhi is about love, and yes being a sikh is a very big step, its most probably the hardest religion to join and even harder to keep faith once you become a full sikh amrithari (baptist sikh). I knew a white sikh here from the uk, he first started out being a hindu (following the hari krishna movement), but once he found out about sikhs, he slowly over time became a sikh. He first grew his hair (used to do a ponytail ) and would wear a bandana for a long time. Once he was comfortable he began to wear turban to sikh events, like going gurdwara, sikhi camp, gatka shows etc. First learn Japji Sahib prayer ( ) then move on from their at your own pace. You cant just jump into the ocean, without learning to swim, it takes time.Read the link below, sahjdhari sikh is one that believes in sikhism but is not a full baptized sikh yet. Since i was at secondary school my dads been out of work ever since.. so money was always tight since growing up. So i have never paid for Office, or Virus protection and other programs like burning software. Do bare in mind these companies charge redicousley high prices, and if i was to pay for all the programs i have and its quiet a bit of programs then i would be looking for a bigger overdraft limit on my bank account. So these big corporate companies over charging us is a way for us that to get back at them for them being greedy. I honestly think things like Office should cost around 20-30 pounds max.... and if it was around that much everyone would just buy it and the company would make more that way as a large quantity of ppl would purchase which would make them more money than just a handful of ppl for office which is about 90 pounds.... So i dont call it stealing especially when the charging crazy prices...... :cool: thas jus my opinion..

(spirits dont like water) Another very good tip is go to the gurdwara and get, Jhot, tell the Giani that you want some of the quo (The gee thing) used at akhand paths to keep the fire running, and setup one of them at home! You ned that white thread thingy to make the fire. Make sure it has some of the quo in it that you got from the gurdwara (as it is holy and pure). This 100% works and you will feel shanti in the room and peace. I am talkin from experience and i now others that have done it and its worked for them Do paat for protection when you feel scared. Balavan mahala panjua - Thati vou na lagi, parbharam surnai, chougird hamarai ram kaar (around my I am protected by sri rams circle), dukh lagay na bhai (no pain or suffering will come to me while in their protection). Its small repeat it when you are scared and keep doing it. I cannot find this on gurbani search, maybe ask your parents or uncle. Or do Benti Chaupai. Bro this is all too real, but dont freak out!!! I have this crap going on in my life, and Im kinda used to it now, theres nothing i can do to stop it, other than do paath for protection and lessen it. I applaud you for taking the time out to make this thread and explain your feelings. Do what you feel is right. If you cannot keep hair right now, fine. If you can keep a beard (weather its neatly trimmed or the full monty) and wear the turban. Thats great. Its very very rare for people to think about dharma (religion) after they cut their hair, they usually go anti-gurmakh The sikh kaum is going through very hard times. I myself was once amrithari, but I feel even though i do paat keep my turban (its shrunken down alot over the years) and I have a trimmed beard. Even though I love sikhi its as much as I can do right now. What I am trying to get at is follow your heart. I hope I can keep my kesh for the rest of my life and god gives me the strength. For some people to actually listen to their guilt after cutting their hair I actually respect that and I would encourage you to wear the distaar with a beard Many people cut their hair to fit it and ignore their inner feelings of guilt and get on with their lives. Hi the gurbani anywhere is for windows mobile and will not work with s60 symbian However i found this link that lets you search gurbani, I tried it on my 5800 and works ok with standard browser. I used the touch screen to type in pAp and got results :lol: , yeah my punjabi not all that good, but hey it works. Here is the link - http://akj.org/skins/one/m.php Now the other question For the adobe link above that is for the symbian 3rd edition, which is not really useful as it does not support the touch screen on the 5800. you want the Symbian OS 9.5 version you will need this one Adobe Reader 2.5 LE s60v5. You can google the above (add nokia 5800)to find it. The only problem is most of these available apps are unsigned. (the ones u dont have to pay for :cool: ) The below link is how to get a a developer certificate to sign unsigned apps.
