So is nidar a recognised leader/representative of Buddah dal in the uk?? My experiences for the time I attended his classes we're pretty bad, but I initially put that down to my lack of knowledge! I was not in the greatest of places when I started attending, however Gursikhi was always my beacon of light. I saw what was going on there and the general mindset of glastonbury singhs, displaying g@nja leaves on their facebook pages and going to dub dances to smoke weed and 'meditate' as some next dimension that I just wasn't aware of! I openly saw "singhs" cus other singhs, and talk about shaheeds from the 1940's to present day as some sort of terrorists, something I could stomach. I also found the name change thing totally bizarre, but thought hey what do I know it must be an evolution of some kind? I once had a snathanist approach me and profess that i'm a singh of nidar, to which I replied I am a Singh of Guru Granth Sahib, a look of homer simpson followed. I have openly seen singhs attend mandir on Diwali because they profess that the Singh Sabha Gurdwara's are corrupt! (their own words). I thought the whole point of going to Gurdwara was to be "in the TRUE masters presence", if you disagree with the corruption either do something about it or at the very least don't put any money in the 'maya box' I personally beleive the mass rounding up and killing of "Gursikhs" in the 80's & 90's and the burning down of places like the Sikh reference library was the start of the etempt to eradicate Sikhi and "merge it back in to the bigger hindutva dharam". The next step (the emergance of the nidars, ram rahim's, darshan ragis of this world) is to replace what was the truth back then with the new falsehood that is upon us today. Is Nidar a rss cronie? who knows & who really cares? Not me! But I say this, I stand firmly shoulder to shoulder with Bhai sahib Taran Singh and his mission to shine the light on the dark filth that nidar and co are spewing to our young and impressionable sikhs.

Singho - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Genuine or Troll, what does it matter? All these questions are valid regardless who's asking them! For the simple fact that we should have every answer or rebuttal imprinted on our brains as standard! If we cannot answer them and instead try to turn our lack of humbleness &/or knowledge in to an attack, then "where are we on the scale of Maharaj's path of truth?" I respect all you Brothers and Sister's that post on this forum everyday, but please take a step back and think what our 11 Maharaj's would do with questioning such as this. Waheguru. Thank you sharing this info paaji, you just reminded me of how great Maharaj is! (Not that i ever forget, just that i'm constantly amazed). I logged on this morning with intention of posting the question to find out what resources (websites, books etc.) are good for non-Sikhs or early converts to learn about "true" Gursikhi? I have a couple of friends who feels that after learning some of the wonderful aspects of Gursikhi, would like to learn more and see how they can start their journey as a Sikh... Maybe the Sangat Ji could offer some other links and names of books that have inspired them to learn more about Sikhi?

Wow, you guys need to step back from the computer for a minute and look at how ridiculous this he said, she said looks to the outside observer... Don't forget that "Baba's" & "Sant's" are only human and can sometimes succumb to the same temptations that distract mere mortals like you and moi... Also some of these "baba's" have without doubt been placed in strategic positions to misguide decent sangat and strip them away from true Gursikhi jeevan (not all, but definitely a few!!).. Let a true Gursikh be defined by he or she's actions and not by the title bestowed on them by a few "hardcore" followers... Whenever, I think of what the modern day Sant's attributes should be, I am always reminded of Sant Jarnail Singh and the video where the bibi ji is trying to matha to him and he just side steps her, he doesn't lecture or scold her, he just continues on his path of humility, righteousness and selfless service... Paaji I take your point about the UK, but the fact remains that Americans are programmed by TV and their media to be ignorant towards anything that is not TEAM USA! America is a world within a world which can be broken down in to 50 countries (states) governed by their own state laws, while adherent to central governance. So there seems to be a mindset propagated that makes them very insular in their opinions of and towards non Americans. With regards to your comment about people in the pind, I would buy in to your theory, if this documentary was filmed using people who have a limited access to books, Internet etc. in hicksville in the deep south of the US, but the fact is, that it's not! It's filmed at a university campus using some of their free thinkers, future leaders and strategists in the worlds most powerful country and largest advocate and exporter of democracy!
