like i said there are singhs/singhnia who do try, the singhs doing the 84 smagams, the sanjha kirtan darbaar and recently the baba deep singh programme where they advertised the amrit sanchaar and barsi, this is all wiked, however its heart breaking when a few days brefore a programme someone decides to make a clash which may be at a gurdvara sahib only like 5 or 10 mins away. back in the days everyone used to attend the barsis at mehta and even in uk. . .i recall my mum telling me that after 84 when they used to do the barsi of sant kartaar singh jee etc etc, they had to hire out massive premises as there wudnt be enough room for sangat to sit. all of babbar khalsa, akj, sant sampardas etc used to attend, thats how major it was. however ppl slowly like to cause and make there own clashes and issues. if someone decides to do a kirtan katha darbaar, others will debate that katha is kachi bani and that they only want pure kirtan???? then make a clash where only kirtani s done. dunno what that means but ive herd it before. then if we do dadhi and kavisheri they will say the same and say its boring even tho guru sahibs started the tradition. without katha, dhahdi etc how will ppl learn and be inspired? akaal purakh kirpa karan.
