  1. I am well aware of the ill health effects of homosexual acts, just as I am well aware of health effects associated to straight sex if not done safely and in moderation. My use on harmfulness was that there would be a victim from the result of an incestuous relationship i.e. the child. Yes, I can say there was an attack towards homosexuals because their behaviour was likened towards criminals. Either members here do not understand the seriousness of paedophilic crimes or they think homosexuals should be locked up. Either way, they should stay away from young children because their moral judgment is messed up. I would defend anyone if I see someone being unnecessarily attacked. I am still on the topic of homosexuality so there is nothing wrong with stating my opinion on this matter. Regarding those that indulge in homosexual acts while in prison, I am surprised that some people here cannot understand this. If those that indulge in homosexual acts become heterosexual when they come out, it is likely that they were never attracted to men but making the best out of a bad situation like someone here has already stated. They were performing homosexual acts because they were trying to get the closest sexual experience and pleasure, in other words they were masturbating or using a sex-toy and were most probably having thoughts of a woman.
  2. For those who do not understand why incest is wrong, they should know that Incest increases the chances of producing children with genetic deformities, creates severe internal family problems and often involves rape/child abuse. For that reason, incestuous relationships are very selfish and harmful. Gurbani does not need to explain that paedophilia, rape or murder is wrong because human’s moral judgment is based on what is harmful. Humans should be smart enough to understand this. Dasam Granth mentions Kalyug’s worsened stages before Kalki Avatar where there is an increase of incest and infidelity. And I guess that’s why some users here are being confused to compare homosexuality to incest because they think accepting homosexuality will lead to accepting other sexual activities even though homosexuality is currently just as prevalent as incest. However, homosexuality wasn’t mentioned at all in Dasam Granth. The message that Dasam Granth has brought forward is that there is an increase of kaam, cruelty, selfishness and the absence of true love, just as it is occurring now where people are becoming promiscuous due to their obsession of having fun. People, whether they are straight or not, are losing the concept of love and increasing the chance of producing diseases and creating unstable families. Similarly incest and infidelity destroys families and is based on false and selfish love. Whether homosexuality is allowed in sikhi or not, people should always be supportive of homosexuals and not treat them like they have a disease. Straight people can have just the same amount of kaam as a homosexual person. It is all animalistic behaviour. Sikhs are instructed by Guru Sahib to be compassionate and see Vaheguru in everyone. There is no reason to resent homosexuals as they are not causing harm. Being hateful would only deter people from sikhi and makes us appear ignorant and unapproachable. How would a homosexual feel if a sikh told them their behaviour is equivalent to criminals like paedophilia etc. Guru Sahib did not speak ill of homosexuality, so what makes us think we are in a better position to do this.
  3. Haha just add the videos to your signature so you don't have to repeatedly copy and paste it xD
  4. If keeping kes is only applied to the hair on the head, why is it that throughout sikh history the singhs and Gurus kept their beard uncut. In no picture or painting have I ever seen singhs with their beard cut. Hair is hair. It is natural for women to have some facial hair called peach fuzz. There are times when women may grow excessive facial hair due to hormonal imbalances and in that case there is nothing wrong if they want to get themselves treated for that medically. To the OP, I understand how you must feel in your situation but I still believe you gave up too soon. There are singhs replying to this thread saying that they would happily accept a singhni with facial hair and that there are many others like them, why didn't you get in contact with them? But you were more eager to remove your facial hair to marry a false singh? I'm wondering what kind of singhs you have been approaching because I find it unbelievable that a strict amritdhari singh would advise you to remove your hair. I also do not agree with you removing your facial hair temporarily because you will be deceiving your potential future husband. Amrit isn't a game or something to take lightly because your relationship with your Guru is more important than your relationship with a temporary false singh.
  5. We're a sikh and we belong to Vaheguru, nothing more. Gurbani has made it clear that there is no place for caste in sikhi and neither when you die. Are you questioning Guru Sahib?
  6. Caste has no place in sikhi as per Gurbani. This sounds more like hinduism, I think you're on the wrong forum mate.
  7. How can there be no discrimination within the caste system when you yourself just differentiated the castes by higher and lower categories. Didn't Guru Sahib teach us to think ourselves as the lowest.
  8. I think it's because she's an Indian
  9. But your posts prove otherwise, you come across very narrow-minded and insensitive.
  10. Lol ill? Do you think he was possessed? That's called being a kid. I'd be more worried about what kind of gyan your parents taught you.
  11. Ok, I will stop debating with her but please change your avatar picture back to code geass, this one is scaring me
  12. Of course everything works by karma, I didn’t deny that. But you cannot excuse how revoltingly you speak. Here is a quote from another thread regarding people who have been brutally murdered: So if a child was brutally murdered, would you say they deserved it? Or that they weren’t so innocent? Is this how you learn to speak from your true sikh sangat. You are really fooled by people’s appearance. You need to spend more time with people to really know what they are actually like.
  13. I don't care if it is their karma. To tell someone it is their karma that they are suffering from is like saying it's your fault. And in the end, you don't know Vaheguru's plan, maybe it is his way of taking care of them. Vaheguru can take anyone's fertility away within a second, so you should be more careful about how you speak because you may be hurting others. I have respect for anyone who is a good person; I do not care if someone is masked as a sikh. I judge people by their good actions, not by the way they look. No one will disclose their paap to you, so you really need to stop deluding yourself that anyone dressed as a sikh is a saint. So with your mentality, I would say anyone who doesn't identify themselves as straight/gay must have the biggest kaam because they can be attracted to anyone. Identifying yourself as gay or straight means nothing, it is just a label. I said earlier one may feel an emotional connection to the opposite/same gender hence the reason they may identify themselves as straight/gay so it doesn’t always necessarily involve kaam.
  14. Other groups? They are human just like you and me. It is animalistic to think we belong in our own group. Even after the sikh genocide, you would think Sikhs would have become more understanding towards others’ suffering but you haven’t learnt a thing. And there are many other so called Sikhs who think in this same way as most lack kindness and are selfish. It is no brainer why Vaheguru hasn’t given us Khalistan; Sikhs do not understand what it means to be a true sikh. Daya came before Dharam, so you cannot be a true sikh if you do not possess compassion. Sadly, the blame isn’t on you as an individual but more on how Sikhs are raised by their parents. Punjabi parents do not raise their child with human qualities as they do not value good qualities but rather materialistic things. For instance, you couldn’t even value having a good heart; instead you belittled the natives while knowing children suffered in the process. I’m disgusted.
  15. Preeet, your comments astonish me and actually make me laugh sometimes. You seem to use the ‘karam’ word alot without even being considerate towards people in a different situation than yourself. Like you said earlier that fertility is given to you if you are a sachay bhagat of Vaheguru. So that would mean infertile people are less worthy people? Is that how you would speak to people? If you do, please don’t it is rude. Another thing is that you have a strange view about how pure and perfect the sikh sangat is. I’m sorry to tell you but they are (all) not because they are humans with flaws and are trying to reach Guru Sahibs perfection which they probably would never achieve or at least in a very very long time. And if you think gay people have more kaam then straight people then you need to spend more time with straight men to know what they really think. Straight people can have just the same, if not more kaam than a gay person. If anyone thinks being gay is just purely kaam then I can only imagine they themselves must have a lot of kaam because they cannot see anything beyond a sexual relationship. Sometimes it is an emotional connection someone may feel to another, not always kaam.
  16. No, the natives won because they died with a good heart. Your idea of conquering is barbaric, do you think Vaheguru would approve of killing and destroying innocent lives in the process of "conquering" a land. And what’s worse is that your compassionate response to the natives is ‘too bad for them’? Is that how a sikh would respond? Or is this okay to you because you are cowardly insulting them behind their back? I’m sure if this was about your own people being massacred, you would be more sympathetic and understanding.
  17. I sympathise with your situation and I know there are a lot of hypocritical singhs out there but I just can’t understand why you would want to change yourself to please them? And it would seem hypocritical for yourself to pass on sikhi values to your child if you remove your hair because you gave up and didn’t hold onto your sikhi values and beliefs. Personally, I would rather live a single life than to ruin my life by marrying a horrible person. You would have to live with this person for the rest of your life and not only that, you would end up associating yourself with this kind of person again in your next life because you built karma with them. I think you would be better of adopting a child because not only can you hold onto and pass on sikhi values to the child but you will give love to a child that does not already have a parent.
  18. I didn't argue with that but I'm sure you would understand why it is wrong to tease someone's appearance and culture if it were done of sikhs.
  19. Of course because that is not the image of a sikh but what is wrong with a man behaving effeminate when it completely fine for a woman to be a tomboy. That is based on personality. Sikhi aside, I cannot see what is wrong with the japanese bloke in the picture. As a sikh we should be judging people by personality and character rather than appearance.
  20. I'm more concerned of sexual crimes. If what you are talking about is hentai, even japanese people look down on otakus but yes Japan does have a massive sex sub culture but that is just the norm to them.
  21. Wow. I am actually shocked that people here are going as far as insulting other cultures when they know nothing of the people and culture. East Asian men are generally very nice people. They are naturally softly spoken, polite and family-oriented people. Maybe the Japanese women began to prefer the kind Japanese men due to the horrid war crimes committed by the (older) Japanese men during the world war. In regards to Korea, they are already an image-focused country where almost everyone gets plastic surgery, so if women are made to focus on beauty, why not the men? It's their culture, don't worry yourself over it. Also, all Korean men are required to join the army for two years, so they are probably far more physically strong than anyone here. In regards to feminism, Japan is very far behind in feminism but that is fine because they are nice people and I believe Vaheguru takes special care of innocent natured people. Turning effeminate doesn't change someone's sexuality, so if they are asexual it means they always were. For example, before the meiji era, the samurais were actually bisexual but they stopped homosexual behaviour due to western influence. I'm surprised that you fail to see beauty in people with innocent personalities but are instead insulting them for not fitting into your conditioned view of being a man but I guess I expect that of typical sikhs like yourself.
  22. If you are actually experiencing physical abuse, you shouldn't make light of the situation because even if you are ok with it, it doesn't end with you. Not sure why you are mentioning caste either, caste has nothing to do with sikhi but everything wrong with india and indians. Also want to point out that the reason why sikh men and women have not displayed any good qualities is because they mix their ugly indian personality with sikhi. I have seen this many times including from singhs. We should learn to practice qualities of Vaheguru and Guru Sahib such as innocence, compassion and humility. I’m sure we would get along much better if we did.
  23. That is disgusting and I am sorry to hear that. I can't understand how anyone can cause physical or verbal harm to anyone, are they beasts in human form?! You shouldn't keep your mouth shut.
  24. I completely agree with you. People may need sangat at the beginning to help them on the path but in my opinion it is an individualistic path as no one can make them grow their love for Guru Sahib and Vaheguru but themselves. Everyone does sangat but not everyone finds Vaheguru through sangat because it is their own effort and care that can bring them towards Vaheguru.
