  2. I agree with wicked warrior above on this one... Innocent until proven guilty?

  9. Well it could also be a lesson to us ALL ... that people make mistakes and no one is perfect...
  10. No offence but this is one of those "damned if u do, damned if u dont" scenarios.
  11. Cos its difficult to digest along with too much chillies and so it disturbes your meditation. LOL thats a new one Ive never really found a problem with it and i eat enough chillies. A lot of sugar n stuff can get my head rushing though occasionally... so maybe we shudnt really eat parshaad or anything either... infact, we should all just stick to bread n milk for all our meals.. :umm:
  12. What part of "some vegetarians" makes you think i was talking about all vegetarians mate?
  13. Oh well, 3hrs have passed so maybe not haha!
  14. advice to anyone who may be reading all this : stay away from groups and organisations. best way to do seva is to join the Khalsa panth and do it with the purest of hearts.
  15. Ok one thing i dont get about some vegetarians... They always find substitutes for meat. Not eating meat is not just about not eating meat. Its to understand why and repulse you of the thought of eating animals. People taste veggie sausages and say "mmm tastes like real thing"... surely that defies the concept of not eating meat? Sorry, i babble a bit sometimes. Hopefully someone somewhere will get my point. Either that or i am medically insane. Oh well...
  16. Happy Birthday to one of the webs most treasured Singhs who has started so many brilliant projects including this website, sikhgiving and more. He is a gem. Loving you always Vicky brah, C.D.
  17. Hmm delicate comment... i would say who cares about the ones who willfully go around, sleep with the guys, convert then regret it? And i think theres a lot of cases like this. Then afterwards they "cry rape" in the sense they claim they were forced into it, brainwashed etc There are cases, however, where girls are drugged innocently and are held captive both mentally and physically, then forced to do things against their will. Yes, we can say what were the girls doing in places where they could have been drugged in the first place?! But we know that deviant souls can trick people into thinking they are "good friends to have" and cleverly find some other way. Judge each case on its own individual merit. could u share more about that? thanks:) Meaning people can be so deviant as spend months gaining a bit of trust, coming close to you, so that you will meet up with them after lectures and chill with them, go out to cinemas etc and become "friends" with them... but then, when you least expect it, they will strike...

  19. We all have choices. We cant blame others for our own mistakes. I hear people worrying about the Khalsa like its gonna die out because of the Muslims and their conversions of Sikh girls. Heres a news flash for you : THE KHALSA WILL NEVER DIE.
  20. Well if he gets kidnapped in Newcastle now... GUESS who will be the first suspect???

  22. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_midlands/6614333.stm - from 2nd May 2007 Sikh attack was 'temple dispute' A stabbing at a Vaisakhi Festival in the West Midlands was part of a dispute over temple elections, police say. A 44-year-old man was stabbed three times at the Sikh new year celebrations in Handsworth, Birmingham, on 22 April. West Midlands Police say the issue is about "power and control" at the Guru Nanak Gurdwara in nearby Smethwick. The stabbed man is a former president at the temple. Three men have been charged with his attempted murder and have been remanded in custody. Still in hospital Ch Supt Andrew Jenkins said: "Our experience of Vaisakhi is they tend to be quite peaceful events albeit with an awful lot of people there. "I think it would not be unreasonable to assume that this stabbing was pretty much directly related to the forthcoming election at the temple. "It is an issue about power and control at the temple." The injured man is still in hospital although his condition is thought to be stable.
  23. WHOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let the GAMES BEGIN!!!
  24. My cup runnith over with the blood of my sins strangling the love I once felt within A long time ago it was stolen from me the essence of life woe be it to me I claimed to see but I saw my own sight blind as a bat on the darkest of nights Battered by storms adrift in the sea I accused myself of this iniquity Each passing day returned with new hope searching with vigor my faith is my boat The thunder will pass the clouds drift away the light of new life will shine one day I knew it would happen my heart still beats true the darkness of life left when I met you You came into being like a soft gentle breeze changing me completely making me free With each passing day knowing it to be true I can only say Vaheguru
  25. If its God that you seek, just walk down the street Look to the freshness springing, from the children you meet Look deeply into eyes, of those elderly grown wise Smell God's glory in the vapors from the bakery's pies. Or drink God's awesome vision, in the swirling tidal skies a vision almost painful, in its boundless dreadful size. The notion God's a "book" or a "building" is a very silly lie God is everything encountered by, and including . . . "you" and "I"
