But when you think about it, its exactly what other missionary religions do. this will keep Gianis motivated, and yes there could potentially be a large drop-off rate, people breaking their amrit, but atleast they were in full reht at one point in their life? no? police are massively corrupt. i can name apna sellout scum in the police. I don't think racism is that much of a problem, but many coppers are on pay-roll from dealers. they take advantage of vulnerable women, there are many lowlifes in the police. Then there are those (apna's) who are not corrupt as such, but make it their life's work to snitch our community, the tiniest things they put our lads on surveillance. sit around laguar halls prentending to engage with the youth, then giving all information on potential conflicts and disagreements within the panth to the police, just to kiss butt and fast-track to promotion. Same mommys-boys officers who wouldn't dare go down the council estates and do the same. I seen the minutes they had from their monthly meeting on the Sikh community.. trust me, they know everyyyyyyyything.. potnetial beadbi conflicts, jathebandhi feuds, they even sit down with Panjab police. nothing really, other than the fact the telegraph thought it was significant to report to the whole world she was an ex Sikh, which seems very strange to put ethnicity into such a report, considering there is no assumption of "religious honour" being an contributor to her murder.

Anyone with knowledge of Ardas used by Parathaan Sikhs (before formation of Khalsa). Udasi Sikhs? Hazoor Sahib Ardas and Nanaksar Ardas.

no need to go OTT with these theories.. there is truth in them but much of its out of our control. Sikhs need to know what to do incase of major civil disruptions. Sikhs need to have protocols ready in their areas and within their families. Anyone with grandparents, ask them what Mahapursh said to Sikhs in Pakistan before partition. Yes first Part is from Sri Dasam Bani, Chandi di waar, as already stated in the O.P. - But who composed the rest and complied the format. paaji Pal07 stated, Bhai Mani Singh Ji Shaheed composed and complied the Ardas - which is indeed often quoted in katha's. If so, then who composed the references to the events after Bhai Sahib Ji's Shaheedi, including reference to their own Shaheedi, Bhai Taru Singh ji Shaheedi, which I beleive occurred afterwards? 3. "Nanak Naam Chardi Kala, Tere Bhaaney Sarbat da Bhala" - what is the origins of this? Was this Totally compiled by Bhai Mani Singh Ji Shaheed? 4. Other variations of the Ardas. Overall they may not make-up 100% of child abusers. My first and foremost concern is with OUR youth, that may sound selfish and not in the spirit of Sarbat da Bhala... but what ever... Easily 90% (if not more) of Sikh child abuse cases through grooming are by Pakistanis. Survey done a few years ago, 1 in 6 Sikh families had been victims to pakistani perverts. I can see why this topic gets boring, repetitive, immature and sounds racist. Not only that it is an embarrassment on our community, that we can not protect our children. but it MUST be highlighted over and over to the new generation. Think about the children who are now 16, they may not have had this parchar.

wjkk wjkf, Pehnji, time you lay down the law. make it clear you don;t want to be disturbed after a certain time. You don't want people sleeping in common areas, (living room) etc Don't act like your offended, or intimidated by them. Bring Sangat round. Even though it may not be ideal place, but if you bought a few people round once in a while- they will know that your not a lone soldier. If you amritdhari, wear your shastr with pride. Adore your room with shastr.
