u no wat.....ur soo lucky lol! personally i had a dream that guru nanak dev ji and i were both sitting on large stones in africa [ thats where by parents r from] and he told me you go to the gurdwara and do ardas. I had the most amazing feeling...something that ive never felt again. now im onli 14 and this happen wen i was 12 so it wuz abit confusin lol. Well all i can say is that if Guru ji has come to you... dont just ignore it..take notice and maybe its a sign you should stop drinkin n eating meat. fateh

im frm midlands =D urmm well in therory every1 is welcome to come to the gurdwara but you will alwayz get the people who are abit narrow minded and stare at you! But if i wuz u i wudnt care bout them....you should be able to bring any1 2 the gurdwara =D

punjabi with most extended elder family punjabi with ma bibi [oviously] punjabi with my mum most of the time punjabi and engish with my dad english with some punjabi words used aswel with sisters and my close friends who understand it english with every1 else =D

i thought that every1 had dreams but its only certain times when you remember them when you wake up. so when you ay you havnt had a dream its probli cuz u dnt remeber it.

Fateh ji Personally being a kid....if my parents just let me cut my kesh then i would eventully think that nothing was wrong with me doing it....On the other extreme if my parents kicked out of the house then that would make me want to explore why what i was doing was wrong. Children need encouragement...Not force. At the end of the day the child is he/her own person and you can only influence someone so far. If hey have taken in what you have educated them and still want to cut their kesh then just remind then what they are doin is wrong but they wrong they are doing wont effect your sikhi but it will effect theres...at the end of the day it is them who is losing out! If that makes sense lol.. fateh

ok ok i understand what everyone is saying and yes you are right...to an extent! i would just like to say honestly that i do attend the mela every year. Lat year despite all the havoc that occured...the sangat in the darbar sahib in the centre of the park which was created by soho road gurdwara was amazing and the atmospere was amazing! Now i know that certain people will say that it is wrong to bring guru ji to a park... but look at the smagam in leeds roundhay park... a success and it make the community aware of us and i can honestly day the i didnt find anything wrong with it because the enviroment which it was set in the the atmospere which was created just by the the presence of guru ji made it perfect! Thats my opinion so dont get 2 upset by it lol fateh

i agree with what everyone is saying but....i think...in my own view that its certainly not just the youth! Many older people are the root of misunderstanding...because after all who puts it into the youths mind....

from an artistic point of view i really like the model. If you buy if doesnt mean you will worship it....oviously someone people will bt not every1 so by sayin it shouldnt b allowed isnt really fair. gurdwara have many pictures of the guru's but thats acceptable? pictures and models....same thing really! fateh

i admit that this weekend at the leadership camp was so amazing and it made me think so much that by the end of davinder singh ji talk on saturday ...my head was hurting!
