  1. The way you say things or analyse things is very nice. Atleast you have the courage to challenge......as dancing warrior said "you are not doing what u were programmed for". My only suggestion is that don't just accumulate arguments against so called "religious" people or their religious beleif system....but search for the real "truth".....search for the "real" light which make everything crystal clear. God (i think u dont beleive in Him...but still if there is some higher spirit) has given you all faculties to know the real truth. As guru ji says: Gobind milan ki eh teri bariya.
  2. Thats what everybdy is looking for. "Satisfaction" or "tripti" as some people say. Its hard to get my friend. Its better search for yourself now and what is your purpose of life. Dont get satisfied by the answers by others (relegious people) ...search yourself....find yourself. Cuz ur gyan will be yours....it will not be borrowed by the "others".....it wont be like "quoting" gurbani again and again...it will be like understaing gurbani in your own light.....its very blisful. The curiousity you are talking about is the beauty of this path....of this journey. Everything is so strange...so fresh.... thats the beauty of this journey. Religion doesn't give contentment....do you think all relegious people are content?
  3. Mehtab veer ji...so u really think he is possesed?..... Miseries in life can never end...unless u are absorbed in the totality. This is what gurmat says.
  4. What is your defination of being "right"? Dont give up before starting the journey. There must be something that the blessed few like Guru Nanak, Kabir, Jesus, Gautam Budha, Mahaveer found. They also told the whole humanity to search for that eternal bliss....there must be "something" my friend....and its in you.
  5. If one can understand God then God is smaller than him/her as then God can be contained in his/her mind..... You can only experience God....i think
  6. On very similar lines Galib said a beautiful sher: "Tere vadhee (promise) pe jiyee hum, to yeh jaan jhhooth(lie) jana, ke khushi se mar na jaate agar eetbaar hota" You are very right when you say "which is the best thing for those you truly want to know because you have not settled for what you have been programmed for, this is great " I liked your post.
  7. I have heard that GANGU use t work at guru's kitchen. Was he amritdhari? I had this doubt from ages, can somebdy explain? Please cite references rather than own interpretations.
  8. If its a kurehit and u still commited it, then a compassionate human being is still inside u. You did a great job.
  9. What about KPS Gill and sajjan kumar and tytler?
  10. Truth should be shown without hesitation but it should be truth not a propaganda. Well on the other hand nobody knows truth.....
  11. Leaving everything in God's hands doesn't mean inaction. It means not to expect anything but remain happy in whatever God does. Its easier to say but harder to do. people just say that because they think this is the right approach but it hard to find a person who actually live with this attitude.
  12. I went to the http://www.nationalexpress.com/ and found out that they have a train with NO stopovers at london. It takes about 3 hrs. Am i looking at correct stations?
  13. Thanks a lot guys. I am coming for a conference in Quenn's college and this is my first time in UK. I will be arriving in the UK on July 1st (sunday) in the morning at about 10 am. How much time does the train take (approx) from Heatrow to Cambridge (including the stop over at London)? And how does it compare to a bus? Thanks again. It is really helpful.
  14. Thanks a lot for your reply. It means a lot to me. Can you get me the schedules and cost asociated with the whole train journey from Heathrow to Cambridge? Is there a direct train service from Heathrow to Cambridge? I know there is a bus service but my friend prefer train over bus, so we are looking for a train service. , Thanks a lot once again.
  15. I like their albums for music and beats. I like the rthyme and energy in their songs. But I must agree that sometimes their lyrics are very offensive towards religions like hinduism.....which is ofcourse against sikh teachings. Labeling the whole community for the crimes of the few is outrightly WRONG! But again, I like the mood and energy these albums bring
  16. WJKK WJKF I am visiting Queens' College, University of Cambridge,Cambridge, United Kingdom from July 2nd-5th, 2007. I am coming from United states and will be landing in Heathrow. I was just wondering what is the best way to commute between Heathrow and Cambridge. Can somebdy guide me on this. Thanks.
  17. On one hand we say Guru is knower of all, on other hand we say Guru ji will wonder. I think our concept of guru is messed up BIG time. THis simply conveys how well we understand our Guru.
  18. Can you explain this a little bit more. I think I missed ur point here.
  19. We use tabla, dholki etc to connect to the gurus word...doesn't that come under "code of conduct"?? does that distract us? He used clapping for the same purpose. If hindus also do clapping ...does that automatically make it wrong? I don't understand the logic? Only one thing counts....and that is devotion and love. It doesn't matter whether u dance or clap. Bulle shah says: Dil wich taan ishq di wajdee..te nallee wajdi khanjri ee, Asan nach ke yaar mana lena, bhanvee lok kehan bhherri kanjari ee.
  20. Being judgemental is ingrained in us. It comes out of our own insecurity and ego. I think its hard to just STOP being judgemental unless we get His grace.
