  1. This is a thread created in relation to other threads and posts recently. I am quite interested to know what those who are wiser amongst us, believe is the 'plan' of the 'elite', with regards to the future of the world. E.g. what are the motivations for the unrest in the Middle-east, reasons for recent issues between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, the antagonism of the West towards Iran and Russia, why there is uncontrolled immigration in Europe? Is this to benefit Jews and Christians? To benefit the bankers and big businesses How will Sikhs be affected in India and in the West? What collective stand can be take as a community in India, and in the West? Sorry if I am repeating much of what has been said before, but I feel this deserves its own thread
  2. Are there any differences in how Sikhi is practiced by Majha, Doaba and Malwa Sikhs? Which Sikhs are dominant in the diaspora?
  3. Hello everyone! Its a been a minute...How you been? Guess i am back because H*ndus are out full force wanting to k*ll Sikhs ..... We are facing turmoil.... Meanwhile on twitter they going insanse with their genocide threats memes etc I dont even know anymore what there is left.....sick and tired facing injustices Either Amritpal will be k*illed of or an 'accident' like Deep Sidhu Its insane last 3 years have been like we are in the same ditch cycle @dallysingh101 @californiasardar1 @Kaurr @MisterrSingh (and rest i can't remember)
  4. A Catholic woman posted that some Sikh woman started having adulterous relations with the Catholic's husband. I posted: Then some anonymous "giani" replies: My response: Where did you get the idea that Sikhs are not supposed to be repsonsible before the sangat? I'm guessing you view Sikhism as merely an individual endeavor. (If not, reply with what you meanwhen you think Sikhs have no responsibility before the Sangat.) That's not Guru Nanak Dev ji's conception of religion. (I do not want to get sidetracked on terminology of religion vs. dharam. If you want to call it dharam, fine.) You do know that Guru Nanak ji created a panth, right? Maariaa Sikaa Jagati Vichi Naanak Niramal Panthhu Chalaaiaa | In the world, he established the authority (of his doctrines) and started a religion, devoid of any impurity (niramal panth). ੪ A panth is an organized religion. It's not a free-for-all. Question: Is a Sikh responsible before the Guru? If not, then what's the point of calling himself a Sikh? If, on the other hand, a Sikh is responsible before the Guru, then who holds the Guruship today? Answer: The Sangat/panth/Panj Piyare. Do you deny Guru Gobind Singh ji invested the Guruship within the Panth (Sangat)?
  5. The British and Sikhs have a long history together. British historians studying Sikhi and writing it in their books. The 2 Anglo-Sikh wars and annexation of Punjab. And the prince Dalip Singh sent to Britain. They recruited Sikhs in both world wars. Mass Sikh migration in the 60s and 70s. Facing a lot of racism but now are accepted all over. A strong 500,000 community. Now we are shown across the media. This is all thanks to the Queen unlike the government.

  7. Last Updated: Friday, 5 December, 2003, 13:31 GMT E-mail this to a friend Printable version Reunion heals partition wounds By Zulfiqar Ali BBC correspondent in Muzaffarabad Harbans Kore hugs daughter Zeenat Bibi at the reunion A 77-year-old Indian woman who has had two homelands, two husbands and two religions has finally brought her family together after decades of separation. "My wish was to see my children again once in my lifetime and my wish has come true," said Harbans Kore at the family reunion in Pakistan. Ms Kore, a Sikh, had travelled from the Indian city of Ahmedabad to meet the Muslim son and daughter she had not seen for more than 40 years. Ms Kore's story began at the time of the partition of India and the creation of Pakistan in 1947. She and her husband were Kashmiri Sikhs living in the village of Pataika, 16 kilometres (11 miles) north-east of Muzaffarabad in what is now Pakistan-controlled Kashmir. Tensions between Muslims and those Hindus and Sikhs still living in the area were such that after a few years Ms Kore's husband fled to India. I wish she could stay with us but she cannot because she has to go back. She has a family there also Zeenat Bibi, daughter She was left behind. Assuming the husband had gone forever, Ms Kore converted to Islam, marrying a Muslim man named Hadayatullah. Together they had a son, Manzoor Hussein Awan, and a daughter, Zeenat Bibi. But in the mid-1950s, Ms Kore was forced to leave for India under an agreement between Islamabad and Delhi to reunite women with their original families. That was when her separation from daughter Zeenat and son Manzoor began. In India, Ms Kore re-converted to Sikhism and had another two daughters and a son with her first husband. Telephone contact For many years, the members of the divided family did not know of each other's whereabouts or even if they were alive. Then seven years ago Zeenat, now 53, and her brother, 48, found out through a relative that their mother was still alive. Brothers in arms Dalveer Singh and Manzoor Hussein Awan "It was just two years ago that we were able to locate her telephone number and then we spoke by telephone, wrote letters and exchanged pictures," said Zeenat. The family wanted to meet immediately but heightened tension between the now nuclear rivals India and Pakistan prevented it. It was not until the recent thaw and the resumption of a bus service between the Pakistani city of Lahore and India's capital, Delhi, in July that their dreams were realised. Ms Kore finally crossed back into Pakistan last week, accompanied by her Sikh son, Dalveer Singh, and her daughter-in-law. They were greeted by Zeenat and Manzoor, along with grandchildren and other family members, at the Wagah border crossing. One of Ms Kore's Sikh daughters joined the reunion this week, along with the daughter's husband and own daughter. Ancestral village Ms Kore said: "It is lovely to see my children after all these years. I am lucky to see my son and daughter and my grandchildren again after such a long time and I feel so happy." Until seven years ago the divided family had had no contact Ms Kore and other family members are staying with her family in Muzaffarabad until the middle of December. But one person Ms Kore could not be reunited with was her Muslim husband - he died two years after she left for India. Ms Kore wants to show her ancestral village to her Indian children but is not sure if the authorities in Muzaffarabad will allow her to go there. Zeenat said: "We know how we suffered all these years and how badly we missed our mother. I wish she could stay with us but she cannot because she has to go back. She has a family there also." Her only other regret was that her mother could not attend the wedding of her son last October. She invited the family but they could not get the visas or bus tickets in time. Manzoor said of the reunion: "We have been deprived of our mother's love and affection for more than four decades and now we are so happy to meet our mother and family. "It is the first time in my life I have found this happiness. Everybody is happy - my wife, my children, my sister and every member of our family that we are together again." Have any people here got relatives in pakistan?

Like, comment and share this video.
Thakur Dalip Singh Ji explains in this video why Sikh Panth is a path of devotion and Sant Mat according to Gurbani. Prabhu Bhagti, Naam Japna, and Kirtan are regarded as the best by the Sikh Panth. Our Satguru Sahibs have both taught and created us to be Bhagats. Satguru Ji also commands us to worship those who chant and recite Naam, those who perform kirtan, narrators, saints, and saints who do good deeds and get things done in numerous places throughout Gurbani.
  11. In 80's there were many turban wearing "sikhs" who did some gaddaari but were not killed as kharrkus thought " challo hai tan sikh, let's forgive him" Kaliyug has become so powerful and Maya has gotten so strong that there are loads of turban wearing "sikhs" who have become panth's biggest enemies. Our future kharrkus will need a psychological change to be successful. They would have to stop their emotional sentiments towards turban. Loads of turban wearing ghattiya people will need punishing in the future.
  12. There is a misconception here among some apne that only Mirpuris are carrying out grooming activities in the UK. The reality is some of you are naive. Many grooming gangs have been Pakistani Punjabis, and even Bangladeshis and Afghans. The partition violence, genocide and mass rapes were initiated and committed by Punjabi Muslims against Sikhs. The forced conversion of Sikh girls in Pakistan is carried out by Punjabi Muslims. Pakistani Punjabis are themselves no better than Mirpuris but scapegoat Mirpuris for everything wrong in their own communities. Many of the groomers have been Pakistani Punjabis yet some of you act like Pakistani Punjabis are culturally akin to Sikhs just because some Sikhs happen to speak in the same dialect of Punjabi as some Pakistanis. The ringleader of the Rochdale grooming gangs was a Pakistani Punjabi from Gujrat confirmed here. This gang was the most perverted of all grooming gangs and it was run by Pakistani Punjabis: https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/rochdale-grooming-gang-deportation-rights-10903124 Another Pakistani Punjabi extradited from Faisalabad. He is another pedo from Rochdale jailed for raping kids: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7942011/Child-rapist-fled-UK-Pakistan-begins-19-year-jail-term-extradited.html The grooming gangs in Oxford were Pakistani Punjabis (most Pakistanis there are Punjabis). You see names used by central Punjabi Jatt tribes such as "Virk" and "Dogar" : https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2013/may/14/oxford-gang-guilty-grooming-girls https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2844528/Taxi-driver-three-friends-sentenced-total-68-years-gang-rape-drunk-woman-passenger.html Pakistani Punjabis have endless videos on tiktok mocking Sikh victims of grooming gangs just look at this page: tiktok.com/@datpakistanipunjabi
  13. funny how they trying to get us involved but never speak about grooming, or even the kashmir case where the Sikh lady was being groomed since she was 12
  14. Majority of Sikhs on this site seem to be against 'using' Pak to further our own interests, citing issues such as grooming and kidnappings in Pak. What would they say of medieval Sikhs who accepted Nawabi from Moghuls and the likes of Jassa Singh Ramgarhia being soldiers of of Adina Beg in the mid eigteenth century? The Mughals surely did worse things than Pak Govt/populace, and yet there seems to have been an consensus at that given time in history that alliances or strategic moves could be made with enemies (not justifying the Ramgarhia soldiering for Adina Beg though), so why would it be such an issue in this day and age ? PS. Go through all threads I have created throughout the years before assuming I am pro Muslims or Pak.
  15. Are we headed for the same fate as Jews before the creation of Israel? Our historical homeland is soon going to lose the Sikh majority tag due to emigration and conversions. We are gaining influence all over the world but losing it in our own home, much like the Jews did (albeit in different circumstances). Are there any other parallels, things to be learnt from the Jews? What can be done to counter this before it is too late ? One thing we need to learn as a nation though is the acceptance of leaders who may not be as religious as we'd like them to be. Theodor Herzl for the Jews and Mhd Ali Jinnah for the Muslims managed to do more good for their respective Qaums than the religious extremists despite being non believers themselves.
