Hi My brother is smoking in the house constantly he doesnt listen my mom has mental issue and he stole 25k from her account and as well as sells drugs. Cops came to the house numerous times but he gets away by lying or telling on his friends however he is terrified of going to jail since he has run out of ways to get himself out. I'm sick of his actions and I already told crime stoppers without any help from them. I have the public guardian trustee involved that have taken action against him stopping him from financially abuse my mother and taking legal action to get her money back. But what can I do to stop his behavior i don't have a relationship with him at all I prefer to not see him again in the future. My cousins etc do not speak to him and suggested to kick him out of the house because he has never face consequences for his actions as a kid and my dad protected him when he was at fault. He is doing an injustice and hurting our community what should be my next step ?

Yet Sikhs have been extremely slow recognising this fact and speaking out against it. Even the term "sikhphobia/sikhphobic" is relatively new and should have been used ages ago when muslims started to come out with islamophobia, homosexuals with homophobia and jews with antisemitism.

They will target bags which do not seem fully secured to their owners Always keep your phone in pocket when in public place. Don't think that if you are in a busy public street in London they cannot target you - if anything, this makes it easier for them when they want to run away.

A Sikh Uber driver claims he was held at gunpoint on the job by a male passenger who asked questions about his national origin and allegiance to America. Gurjeet Singh, a religious leader from northwestern Illinois, said the passenger put a gun to his head on a nighttime ride on Jan. 28 and stated, “I hate turban people; I hate beard people.” Singh wears a turban and a beard as signs of devotion to his Sikh faith. The Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the alleged assault but has yet to make an arrest. In the meantime, the local Sikh community is troubled that the armed suspect remains free, according to the Sikh Coalition, a national advocacy organization that is representing Singh. “We do still remain concerned that no arrest has been made and the State’s Attorney’s Office has yet to file hate crime charges,” the Sikh Coalition’s legal director and Singh’s lawyer Amrith Kaur said in a statement. “Mr. Singh and the local Sikh community have the right to feel safe. He explained that he was Sikh and that he serves both the U.S. and his home country of India, since his parents still live there. “The attacker’s behavior escalated more and more as Mr. Singh tried to inform him about his religion, about the tenets of Sikhism, why he wore a turban,” Kaur told HuffPost. “As that went on, the attacker became more and more incensed, to the point where he pulled out a gun.” The woman in the car then “forcibly removed” the male passenger from the vehicle, the coalition said.
