Karma and God?

Recommended Posts

Sat Shri Akal.

I have thought about this question for the longest time. A lot of people tell me that Waheguru controls everything and all aspects of our lives. Everything happens with his command and his wish. I agree. Then comes the concept of karma. How can we do good or bad deeds when waheguru is controlling us? How come we are in control of our actions yet they are being controlled by waheguru? How can both of these possibilites exist simultaneously? Any comments would be gr8!! :TH:

There are levels of Truths which can be only comprehended at certain stages of your spiritual progression. From your stand point you are seeing 2 contradicting Truths. Yes its true that we have the freedom of action...to do good or bad. Yes it is True that God is Doer of all. But the second truth can only be known if for you he IS the doer of all. When you surrender yourself to his will...'Completly' then second truth becomes True and the first one is left behind. You take a leap from I am to You Are..."Tu Karta Karna Mai Nahi Ja Hou Kari Na Hoi"

It is a Paradox. Both are True depending on your level of awareness.

As Long as you claim yourself to be the doer of your action, so you are trapped in the vicious cycle of Karma. Because you acted, so you are bound to your actions and their results whether good or bad. Once you surrender yourself to his will and let him become the doer then he becomes the owner of your action. Tu hee Tu hee Tu hee Tu hee...
