Chohan is just a joke. He says things like that every now and then to attract publicity and to deflect attention from allegations that he is a GOI agent. An allegation which is reinforced by the fact that all the cases against him have failed and he is happily living in hit koti near Chandigarh.

He is a joke. No one has ever taken him seriously. The only reson he was anti India was because he wanted to be a minister in the Punjab government and he was denied the chance. He was an opportunist who jumped on the Khalistan idea as he had failed politically and saw it as a way to prolong his political life.

Another reason why he is a joke is because for years he sat in London whilst Sikh youth were being killed in Punjab by the state. Then after most the militants had been killed he surprisingly gets anticipatory bail in India and a passport and runs back to India to live out his life in his Mohali koti. Strange how all this happened so quickly after most the militant leadership had been wiped out.

As for the 2007 thing, he makes these predictions every few years and they never happen.
