they say that at night, the hyena cries into the night as it stares into the stars, but the question is why does it cry?

the story goes that god gave his darshans to all the animals, and said to his animals he wanted them to decorate his skies with the animal images. the animals had decided to throw these stars into the air, making accurate portrayals of themselves.

the hyena, thinking he was smart decided to throw this stars as far as he could, but he did not throw these stars to make his own images, but decided to scatter them high in the air. the hyena thought he was so smart in doing so. but when it came to the last star, he realised that what he had done was the most foolish of foolish things. the hyenea could have immortalised himself in the skies with the stars, but chose to be clever and decided not to.

for this reason, the hyena cries at night, as it howls into the skies thinking to itself "why am i not there in the skies?"

the moral of the story: what god has given you, use it wisely and dont use it to show off.
