this whole thing is a farce, nothing will end the poverty, look at 1984 live aid MILLIONS of pounds were raised, and were eaten by the fat cats of the poor nations, as for poor nations with debt, come on guys they dont pay it anyway so wiping it out wont be all that different.

bob geldoff, bono, and all the artists who performed at live8 im sure they themselves could save a few nations if they dipped into there pockets.

i was watching live8, then ppl like kofi annan and bill gates make an appearence, bill gates prob the richest man in the world. why dont they dip into there pockets instead of telling ppl who work there ballz off in dead end jobs.

the adverts every 3 seconds a child dies, think how many children died whilst they were enjoying themselves singing and dancing at live8 concerts.

im all for 'making poverty history' but you cant just pledge money, you have to go into the countries and do the work yourself.
