I am posting this message on behalf of Roma Kaur Bhenji who is organizing all of this and sent me this e-mail:

You are all well aware of the plans to launch an International Sikh women's magazine from Toronto " K A U R S "

For the past six months the process has been going on and we are in our final stages of preparation of launching the magazine. The website: www.kaurs.com is also being uploaded and should be ready in a couple of weeks.

Keeping in mind the success and sustainabilty of the magazine, this project has been designed as a business venture. However, the mission of community welfare and celebration of womenhood cannot be underestimated. Hence, we would like our sisters in the GTA to participate in its launch as well as future progress. We shall be needing all kinds of resources - human as well as material in this mission and each one of our sisters' efforts will count.

To ensure good participation of women from all walks of life, we are introducing a survey questionnaire which you can forward to your friends and family. After filling it, they can send it back to us. This will help us finalize the content and marketing strategies for this magazine.

The Toronto members of the Trust to run the magazine as well as a few committed volunteers will be getting together to formulate startegies and share the workload behind this endeavor. Mrs. Paramjit Kaur ji ( Mangat) has very kindly offered to hold the introductory meeting at her place:
