Bringing Senchiya from india

Im going to india soon and was wondering how to bring senchiya over from india without doing beadbi.

If i put them in suitcase, they could come under everything else and under other ppl's shoes in their suitcases.

And if i put it in hand luggage, and above the seat, again, may be on the same level as some one else's shoes.

Anybody done this before?? or know how to go about it??
