It isn't sensationalism.  To make such a claim is pure ignorance.  Violence against women isn't just depicted through pornographic magazines, it hits us even in regular advertising and all facets of popular media today.  Women are always shown in compromising positions.  That in itself is violence and leads to even more violence.

Saying "it's sensationalism" is dismissing it. I'm not dismissing it, but at the same time, I'm not saying it is completely the fault of the media's portrayal of women. It definitely plays a role, a BIG one. It is surely not the single cause though.
