On Saturday 17th June 2006, the first ever Gurmat Camp is taken place at Leamington Spa Gurdwara Sahib. The Camp is being organised to commemorate the 400th Shaheedi Diwas (martyrdom day) of Satguru Sri Guru Arjan Dev Jee Maharaaj.

We humbly request you to please give Darshan at the camp and bring along your friends and family. We need as many volunteers and sevadaars as possible. With the Sangat's support and help we can do our best with Guru Sahib's Kirpaa to make a successful event and aim to provide the youngsters with inspiration and enlightenment from the life and Shaheedi of Satguru Sri Guru Arjan Dev Jee and Gurbaani.

The Camp is aimed for children and the youth. There shall be a talk on history and significance of Guru Arjan Dev Ji's Shaheedi. The camp shall comprise of workshops such as meditation and Dhadi workshops, and informal discussions. There's no registration requirements, just turn up on the day.

There shall also be a Keertan Darbaar after the camp from 6pm to late on that night. Keertanis from up and down the country will be doing Keertan Seva.

So please show support and commemorate the Shaheedi Diwas by helping to involve the youngster's, the future generation, and together learn and be inspired by our Great Guru's lives and works.
