I didn't read all of that because..well it was too long. But I would like to say we should all support one of the only politicians doing something positive for the panth. So you and that other guy Kurtas who talk smack about Simranjit Singh Mann need to be slapped. And this is coming from a guy who isn't even very Pro Khalistan anymore.

Says it all when you cannot be bothered to read anything yet are prepared to give opinions about the same.

It is rather like those Indians who refused to read human right reports about abuses in Punjab as they had it set in their minds that the police etc could never do wrong.

Mann is a complete failure as a politician. Go to Sangrur and ask the people there what they think about him. Ask them what Panthic projects he did with money from his development fund. His alliance with Bittu shows his true charachter. The Sangrur Ludhiana main road which is like a lifeline to locals was in a very poor state. Locl farmers rely on this road. I do not recall Mann calling for it to be resurfaced during his tenure as Sangrur MP.

Shiromani Akali Dal(Amritsar) leaders personally met the principal of the above mentioned school and made him tender an apology.

SAD(Amritsar) is single handedly fighting against the onslaught of RSS and other fundamentalist Hindu organisations.So much so that leaders like Ravi inder Singh of Akali Dal(1920) and Prem Singh Chandumajra of Akali Dal(Longowal) are only rendering lip sympathy to SAD(Amritsar) in it's fight against RSS and traitor badal.

It is only SAD(Amritsar) which is opposing the death anniversary celebrations of traitor Harchand Singh Longowal.On the one hand Chandumajra who daily speaks against congress and badal dal has invited badal dal and congress to Longowal's death anniversary rally to be held tommorow ie 20-8-2006.

SAD(Amritsar) is in the fore front in the actions against bhaniarawala,ashutosh jha and other anti sikh deras,whereas both badal dal and congress are both hobnobbing with these anti sikh forces.

SAD(Amritsar) is heading the Gurdwara Sudhar Lehar 2 .

Let us first get 100% of Anandpur Sahib Resolution of 1973 ,which is mentioned repeatedly by Sant Bhindrawale in his speeches and which has been abandoned totally by badal dal.

When Sant Bhindrawale talked about accepting Khalistan when given by India you must remember at that time Akali Dal including badal was calling for and supporting the implementation of Anandpur Sahib Resolution of 1973.But badal dal abandoned that stand during Moga rally in 1996 and started calling itself a "Punjabi Party" and today it is taking shape of BJP party.All this was done to nullify the achievements of Dharam yudh morcha started by akali dal itself after getting thousands of youths killed.

SAD(Amritsar) needs the support of all Sikhs and right minded Punjabis to first get the Anandpur Sahib Resolution of 1973 adopted in totallity.

By the way Jai Ho I think you are not located in Punjab or India.You are quite ignorant about issues and news related to Punjab.

Correction. The Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) is not single handedly fighting the cause of the Sikh Nation. There are many other Panthic organisations which have been campaigning on the substantive issues in Punjab for many years now. Many of the activities of SAD (Amritsar) have been done in collaboration with the Dal Khalsa and in fact, Dal Khalsa had been the initiator of various activities.

Though this is not a popularity contest, recognition should be given where it is due.

It is extremely misleading to credit Akali Dal Mann as the sole defender of the Sikh Nation, ignoring all of the contributions and efforts being made by Dal Khalsa and others.

I meant the only Akali Dal fighting for the Sikh cause is SAD(Amritsar) since in this section Sardar Mann is the target.

No doubt other panthic organisations like Dal Khalsa,Khalsa Panchayat,Damdami Taksal,AISSF(Bhoma),AISSF(Peer Mohamad) etc are all fighting side by side for the Sikh cause.

If you are interested in promoting the Sikh cause then vote for SAD(Amritsar) if they participate in elections .If you have no love for the sikh cause then vote for immoral people like Gaganjeet Barnala who is now MLA from Dhuri .
