Haveli - Rangla Punjab Traditional Village Theamed Restaurent

Place is full of jumped up NRIs who act like heroes (especially the lo$ers from USA & Canada who dress like extras from a basketball movie) . The food is nothing wow. I could name more than a dozen places in Jalandhar which serve more tasty food. Dont know if things have improved but the waiters used to have a habbit of hovering over you to try and make you eat quickly as they needed to serve more people. Not been there for a while and do not have any plans to go.

If you have not been and are used to eating at some $hity dhaba then you will think Haveli etc are the ultimate dhaba. But if you eat at many other places you will soon learn the food at Haveli is just average. The Rangila Punjab experience is different like the girl who brings you tray of sweets etc but the novelty soon wears off.

in haveli food is not tasty

but in rangla punjab its very very good.

waiter treat u like the punjabis treat any guest.

as the rangla punjab as pure traditional village quality same the waiters also have the nature of punjabis and they serve u food forcly and request u to eat more more as we say to our guests.

Sunny its not them being hospitabe by forcing you to have more food that I have a problem with. It is the way they used to stand over you to try and force you to eat quickly and get out as so many people were waiting to sit down. Sunny you ever tried the Chola Puria at the Amb Sweet Centre near your house, must be the worst looking and tasting food in Punjab, although their koya barfi is ok.

Probably some jumped up school kid who is admin and does not know difference between kirtan d/l and discussion of Haveli. I could understand if it was moved to the Fun section but I fail to see what it has to do with multimedia (besides the pictures Sunny has posted).

YA I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING OF ABH ( AMBARSARIAN BHAIIYAIN DI HATTI)

THEY ALSO IMPROVED NOW.

THEIR KAJU WALI BURFI IS MOST TASTY.

ANS VERY COSTLY ABT RS250/KG

BUT PAAJI RANGLA PUNJAB WAITER ARE NOT LIKE THAT .

THEY HAVE ALOT ALOT ALOTA OF SPACE AND WAITERS.

THEY NEVER TREAT LIKE THEY ARE IN HURRY.

I HAVE BEEN THERE 5-6 TIMES

I NEVER FELT THAT.

U MIGHT BE THINKING OF HAVELI RESTAURENT.

BUT RANGLA PUNJAN IS THE BEST AND FOOD IS ALSO VERY TASTY.

BUT THE RESTAURENT I LIKED MOST IN FOOD QUALITY IS MOHAN FAST FOOD IN PHAGWARA.

THEY ALSO HAVE INDIAN FOOD AND ITS THE FOOD IS MOST TASTY.
