:e: BOLE SO NIHAL!!! :e:

Sarbloh Warriors is a computer game developed by Taranjit Singh, a Birmingham-based Sikh video game creator, slated to be released in 2007. It is touted as the first game mod with the theme of Sikhism. Set during the 18th century, the game explores how existing Indian religious groups and the nascent Sikh community were suffering under Mughal imperial rule and religious intolerance, and how the Sikhs decided to rebel against the empire for the basic human rights of all the peoples of India and beyond.

It is a 3D first person action-adventure game, featuring a variety of characters, custom-designed levels, authentic Indian and Persian architecture, with period weaponry, costumes and armour.

In 2006, Singh complained that the game was unfairly stereotyped by the BBC as being anti-Muslim, stating that it was meant to educate about actual historical events as opposed to being discriminatory against any particular community. The claim is, of course, entirely unfounded since many Muslims assisted the Sikh forces in combatting the tyranny of the Mughal empire.
